Devil May Cry 3 weapon help [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-04-06, 08:24 PM Hey I was wondering if anyone has or will stat up the "Niravana" guitar Dante uses in DMC I was thinking a gutair of summoning I and player has to make a repair/conversion check to convert it into a vorpral scythe I havent played D20 in while so make it interesting.

But, I do like to contradict, so, I'll give it a shot...

Nirvana - Guitar of loud random noise. (Just teasing.)

This guitar is used for music... If you call the fearsome noise it creates when strummed MUSIC.

When a spell slot is sacrificed and a perform check is made, the user can use the corresponding level summon, even if the player doesn't know the spell. The DC of the perform check is 10 plus the spell slot sacrificed. If the check is failed, the spell slot is wasted, and nothing happens, aside from some terrible music.

Once per day, the user can make a perform check for each of the various summon monster spells as if he had sacrificed a spell slot. These free uses of the summoning spell can be used at any time, they do not have to be used in any particular order, or all at once. The perform check must still be made, otherwise, the use is wasted.

When swung around like a madman, the guitar functions as a plus 2 keen shocking burst scythe.

11-23-06, 03:35 PM It's called Nevan, not Nirvana. I'm statting out the guitar and the special attacks with it...along with a whole DMC3. Also, I can't wait until Devil May Cry 4 comes out:D .

12-13-06, 10:10 PM Yeah I havent posted here in Months see If u got any stuff related to "Royal Gaurd" Fighting style I want to use it as a base for another character......Can U say Greaves of Blinking+Electrical Melee+Royal Gaurd Fighting stats=pwned! poor kobolds

However, it's quite hard doing Dante....
If you mean Devil May Cry 3 Dante, it is more simply.
For Devil Trigger I think can be done devil weapons just like "berserker".
However, Dante is very powerful.
Doing Dante at DMC1 end is almost impossible I think.... can't he be a demigod or something better at DMC1 end?

Rebellion can be a Large Longsword or Greatsword vorpal dancing +5?
I have problems in creating Ebony & Ivory....
If you have created them, can you post it?

01-08-07, 06:47 PM Mundus was classified as the devil. So I sorta think he would be a VERY strong Infernal.

Evony and Ivory are quite simple really. One is made for aiming and the other for spraying.

So, you give Dante the Two Weapon fighting feat line up until you get the third shot in the off-hand. That covers one being accurate and the other not (3 Attacks vs. 4) The Speed enhancement works to. Finally, tack on a +1-3 enhancement bonus to each. That should do it.

but during dmc3 the rebellion grew stronger after the 7th mission. It changed appearance and dealt more damage so.... I
think that sparda and rebellion should be treated as epic level weapons.

03-13-07, 08:24 PM Rebellion did not do any more noticeable damage after Dante could Devil Trigger with it. The ONLY time it did more damage is when he DOES DT.
