Alot of people told me it couldn't be done, that DBZ had too many variables and uberness that could not be translated into an rpg. Though probably mutants and masterminds would've been a better system, sense everyone knows about d20 i'm using that.

Hero Classes:
As always, hero classes exsist and there's no longer prestige classes because there's no need. Versaility is immeasurable because in dbz d20, every hero class gains an additional feat each level (along with the normal amount of feats gained at 1st and every 3rd level). This feat can be any feat.

Damage Reduction:
Every hero class has a differant table for determining damage reduction. Damage cannot be reduced to any less then 1.

Evidently, damage reduction has limitations in dbz, if someone is unconciouse, willfuly ignores it, or is attacked without being able to holdup a proper defense (attacks of oppurtunity). Damage reduction is ignored.

Ki:
Heroes can ki based on thier charisma score per level. (Additional ki might exsist from race) However, ki attacks are wisdom stat dependant for DCs. If you use more ki ine one attack then your charisma stat, you have to make a will saving throw DC equal to ki used or become dazed for one round.

Ki Control (Wisdom):
There is even a skill now, ki control, that without it you will control ki haphazardly and probably miss with that kamehemeha.

Races:
This will take some time to tweak and make balanced, but evidently there will be many of races. Misc aliens have no race and thus are not for the PCs to be.

Android (probably a warforged)
Human (buffed up to have equal ecl)
Lycanthrope (converted to have alien looks about them like frieza or zarbon, unless ofcourse they want to be a werewolf or something)
Mutant (everybody in the ginyu force wasa mutant)
Namekian
Saiyan
Half-Saiyan
Furry

Learning Ki Techniques:
Learning ki techniques is a bit abstract, some cost skillpoints, some cost feats, some cost skillpoints and feats.

Learning Wizardry:
Like Baba the witch or babadi, you may learn spells too, they require skillpoints and or feats too, use the spellcraft (int) skill to determine potency, and use intelligence as the key-stat for DCs. But unlike ki, spells are limited to a number of times per day, the number of times being equal to your class-level. Most spells come with a drawback of forcing you to make will or fort saves or suffer somehow.

Action Points:
They'll play a bigger role, and some hero classes will gain additional action points per level seperate from waht they normaly gain.

Massive Damage:
Differant hero classes have a differant massive damage threshold that increases with level. Fort save 15 or die.

Crippeling Damage:
A new form of damage threshold is made, crippeling damage is when you are dealt more damage then your con-score. You make a fort save equal to damage dealt or become fatigue, if already fatigue, exhausted, if already exhausted, unconciouse.

I think you should rethink the Mutant race, because, Jeice and Burter believed that Goku was a mutant. What that tells us is that, at least in DBZ, Mutant refers to anyone with abnormally high power level, thus Goku could be both a mutant and a Saiyan, same with Vegeta. One thing I would suggest with Freiza and Zarbon is to open up the Lycanthrope alternate forms, as Freiza's 2nd and 3rd form seem to me to be Minotaur and Ogre, respectivly, and Zarbon can be done without changing the rules, as he seems to be a werecrocodile, or something similar.

I disagree on the Damage Reduction thing, I don't think they have true damage reduction at all, it's just a power they learn, that happens to be quite common. Thus, the times they are attack and don't have it, they are either flat footed, unwilling to spend the points, and so on. You are incorrect as well, in that, unlike low strength and such variables, Damage Reduction can indeed reduce damage taken to 0, unless that's a new rule you want to add in. Personally, I don't see the use. I have had DBZ characters in D&D worlds, simply using such things as Scro and Giff from Spelljammer, and Psionic classes or Tome of Battle. with a slight modification as to allowed manuevers.

There is a non D20 system for DBZ, I think it depicts the game somewhat well. Only flaw with the game is you roll too many d6's, and any other flaws I don't know about. I haven't played it by the way.

Also I'm sure if you run a search on saiyans and such, narrow it down to classes topic, you should most likely find what you are looking for.
