What would the Homunculi from Full Metal Alchemist be in terms of monster stats? First, I would like to know what creature type they would be? Construct and Undead spring to mind, but then again they are capable of healing (have to be living) and Greed drops unconscious when part oif his head is knocked off, and when Bradley ran him through he was unconscious for a long time.(also living) On the other hand, they are almost indestrucable.(non-living-ish)

After that, I'd like to know what the stat blocks for these guys would be.

To clarify, I'd like to have a comparison of both the manga homunculi and the anime homunculi, if possible please.

I think that they might be able to be considered as aberrations.

An aberration, according to the Monster Manual that I own, has a bizarre anatomy, strange abilities (digesting anything, shape shifting, extending fingernails to pierce things, turning into living water, and being able to become as hard as stone seem to be rather strange abilities to me), an alien mindset, or any combination of the three.

But they have human anatomies, right down to the organs, as stated in FMA volume 7. The only thing different is the location of the Stone in their bodies and the fact they draw life from it.

I think a good fit for some would be an Elan. You can say have the ability they have to heal instantly be from the elan ability, and the "red stones" are dull grey ioun stones, since they can provide power points and then dissolve. I think the main thing to do is to make homonculi a subtype. This can be done so that you can apply it to various monsters, as they fit the different abilities.

So...how about the stats for all the homunculi?

For a list, I'd need: Lust, Gluttony (plus true form in both manga and anime), Envy ( again plus true from from both), Trisha Sloth(anime), tank Sloth (manga), Greed, Fuhrer President King Bradley, Kid Wrath (anime) and SPOILER>>>Selim Pride(manga)

You could just make them living constructs...

I feel a lot of them could just be statted using the warforged (MMIII or the ECS) as a base and then using psionics.

Make them all Wilders (to account for strange abilities while keeping the focus narrowed).

Lust screams the Claws of the Beast power, maybe with something that would augment her reach.

Gluttony would most likely be someone who spammed Bite of the Wolf along with Assimilate, to simulate him eating them whole.

Envy most likely spams Metamorphosis, and might also be multiclassed as a monk.

Remember, even wilder's can gain access to powers not on their list through the Expanded Knowledge feat.

and thats my 2 cents.

I'd give them fairly impressive physical stats as well.
For example, in the manga Wrath manages to run straight up a light pole.

+4 to dex/con/str with regeneration 2... with the caveat of:
Must be evil (Greed seemed chaotic to me).
Inhuman, Homunculi cannot reproduce, always have their creators mark somewhere on their body, cannot age, and any magical senses show their true nature.
A Philospher stone pool = con bonus, used for healing anything under zero, more can be bought/made at high prices, if =0 regeneration ends.
Destiny: the creation of a Homunculus is expensive and time consuming, all are made for some purpose by their creators, and it is rarely a benevolent one.

(first attempt at a template, it may need a LA)

As a side note, a Homunculi cannot do better than the Soul Drinker prestige class. It just seems to fit.
