Here's some of the basics... any feedback or input would be great. It'll start off during the 1920's or 1930's. Some strange event will occur and the PC's will be missing. They'll awaken 10-15 years later in possibly a Nazi camp. It will actually be an altered reality set far in the future - appx 100 to 150 years. Different cults have taken over the world (not secretly) - multiple cults worshiping multiple Old Ones. The PC's will be introduced into the "real world" after they find a way to break through the illusions set before them. I'm thinking it will be a cult of Yog-Sothoth that has brought them through time. They believe that since much fiction about the Mythos was written at that time, maybe some people from that time might have "connection" and know things that have been lost over time. Their mission is to find PC's to go through time and dismantle cults of the other Great Old Ones. They believe that by destroying the other cults that each will be weakened by their lack of followers and that would allow Yog-Sothoth to rule as the one true god. I'm planning on having Cthulhu and Hastur cults take the main antagonist roles that the PC's must stop first. Any ideas? :) |

I'm slowly getting more ideas for what to do along the way. The original cult (in the furture) is gonna have a disjointed knowledge of 20th century America. I'm planning on (if they don't free themselves) having someone very similar to John Wayne help free them, but the characters wouldn't know who he was since he was after the original time frame :) I'm trying to come up with other little "mistakes" the cult could fabricate :) |
