Lord of Dragons 09-23-03, 07:07 PM	The dragon came from the sky and he started walking he was waiting for his friends for he was starting his war against Osia and he knew to fight his friends would defintley be need so he blew a torrent of fire into the air, the signal for them to come : then he wrote a note If you are not here by sundown I will be at Sokale cave there I will speak my instructions when we are there. Then the dragon waited for sun down.

'FLASH' Then out of nowhere a short stocky figure fell from the light to the ground. He was clad in mostly chain mail armor with a helmet that had two horns on it, one was broken halfway down, so one and one half a horns I guess you'd say. He hit the ground with a thud "Ugh!! Bah!! Majic," he said as he stood up adjusting his large battle axe strapped to his back, "...I hate majic..." He looked up at his old friends, "No offense to ye, my old friends. Good to see ye. I saw the signal, dragon, what would ye be needin'? Ye know that I'm always here for ye. I left the city in care of me second in command, me son Ardan Redbeard. He's so careless though, I hope she's still in tact when I be returnin' to her gates. But nevertheless, dragon, I took an oath that I'd be there for my friends." OOC: I'm new to this site and concept, I hope it is ok that I join in, I don't know who Osia is, but I can fake it. If I'm not welcome let me know, I'll delete it.
Lord of Dragons 09-24-03, 03:17 PM	The dragon walked to his old friend and replied "Thank you for coming it has been a long time and your skills are much needed for Osia has not been watched over and I am afraid it is to late now so I am starting a war against her, but all the people that said they would help me have not come so the three of us will go to Sokale cave." So the crimson red dragon started flying slowly North leaving the note for anyone late.

I don't posses enough majic to do that, you know that. No disprespect to you, and I know how much ye hate it, and I'm scared of heights, but it'll be faster if you let me jump on." Keldin kringed a little bit waiting for a irritated reply from his old friend. "You know that I'll earn my keep in any battle, though, dragon." He said as he smiled.

Kathryn_aka_Kat 09-24-03, 04:13 PM	As the dragon disappears again, Kat watches him go. Then she walks quietly from where she was hiding in the shadows and nods politely to the dwarf. "I think he has found a different way of solving his problem, sir? And I wish him all good luck with it... he has great energy that could be of help to many. But other concerns weighed too heavily with me to commit to his aid this time." "You, too, seem one that it would be wise to value. I suspect there are, or will be, other quests and endeavors where your presence would be most welcome." Kat grins slightly, "Though I try to avoid most of that sort of thing myself. Takes away too much time from the tavern, you know." She glances over at the Elf Lord, and smiles reassuringly, "I've seen you there, you seemed to be getting used to the place? May you find welcome, each of you, though it may seem a rough welcome at first. But after all, it is a tavern." Kat bows, taking her leave of the two, and heads back to town.
Agudo Archmage 09-24-03, 04:45 PM	As the others took off for the cave, two lone figures could be seen in the distance. Slowly they came, for one was walking, and the smaller one was riding on the shoulder of what was obviously a wizard of some type. A Simi young male in his mid to late twenties, with a long blond ponytail and short beard. He had on the classic pointy mage hat, magic staff, and flashy jeweled rings that came in to view. His blue and white robe fluttering in the wind, as he climbed the hill. The one on his shoulder turned out to be a white owl, who seemed to be talking to the wizard. “Are you sure this is the spot Lady Hoot?” The voice of the mage sounded older than his body. Whimsical in sound but much older than it should be for such as he Lady Hoot flapped her wings and was about to speak, when her friend interrupted her. “Oh never mind my wise owl, I see and sadly smell, the dragon droppings. I thought they were boulders for a second” He said this as he covered his nose with a silk yellow handkerchief. Lady Hoot just then saw the note left behind, floating in the air midway up. “Agudo I believe a message has been left for us.” Agudo walked over and mumbled to himself as he read. He then turned his head to talk to the lovely white owl. “Well the dragon could have waited, for the others a little longer! Some of us like to walk you know. Its part of the adventure of getting there. Just ask Drizit and Elminster, they almost always walk; or at the very least ride a horse to get somewhere.” Agudo took out his corncob pipe, and with a magical flash it was lit. Lady Hoot smiled at her friend’s attitude. “Now Agudo as an Archmage were once young and impatient like them. Not everyone has two hundred years of experience on them as you do.” Agudo winked Hoot, as he rubbed his short blond beard. “Yes but when you have died as much as I have, you would never guess my true age” Lady Hoot shook her head at his half joking vanity. With that the two headed off to the cave after the eager adventures.
Keldin_Redbeard 09-24-03, 05:44 PM	Keldin, a bit confused by what the dragon muttered as he vanished, looked around, "Thank you," he said to Kat as she walked away. He then caught the elf's gaze and said "Well elf, shall we head to the cave?"
Gene_Kynes 09-24-03, 07:02 PM	If Kat bothers looking down at her feet...or rather, her shadow, she sees it freeze...and take a masculine shape? The shadow becomes hers again, once it admits a single form through it's subtle gateway...the psuedo-familiar, heavily cloaked and masked shadow dancer. Contrasting eyes of red and blue regard her...and where a greeting, even a characteristically cold one would fit...there is silence. Stepping behind Kat, he walks, his footsteps inaudiable to all but the keenest of ears.
Kathryn_aka_Kat 09-24-03, 08:30 PM	Kat stops and turns, smiling wryly at Gene, "Did I ever tell you how much your use of shadows reminds me of someone else?" "But nevermind that, really. What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be guarding Agudo?" She grimaces suddenly as she follows that thought to its logical conclusion. "Oh, no! Don't tell me Agudo's on his way as well? Did no one else see or overhear? The one the dragon sought vengance for, this one called Ryan, has made some deal with the woman Osia and is restored to his form. I saw him at the tavern, looking for some way to make good use of his regained powers, and even saw him headed for Agudo's school. If Agudo is now here... " Kat shakes her head. "I don't know what quest will now be found in the cave where the dragon sent the others, if any. I was going back to the tavern... our last adventure didn't exactly make me wish for more. Not the way it ended. So I'm off, unless someone offers me a better reason to stay?"
Gene_Kynes 09-24-03, 09:11 PM	He nods at her...logical conclusion to his presence, at least in part. "Miss Kat..." His eyes fall, as if his statement was something that would bring shame. Or rather...a single word. "...please...stay. I understand...you do not...agree with Agudo." The long, thoughtful spaces between his words seemed to hint at Gene inspecting and censoring his own thoughts, picking his words all too carefully. "I understand I may not be a strong bargaining chip, but I'd much rather have you assist with this, than be stranded with strangers. And I dare not try to become friendly with that winged reptile. But...if Agudo shall leave, and you shall leave...then I've no need nor wish to be here...and I shall leave. Until Agudo arrives...or doesn't arrive, may I please ask of you that you...remain? I can return you to the tavern...easily. It...it won't be like last time." The sharply contrasting eyes raise back to her, and it seems as if the Shadow Dancer finds a least bit of respect for the rogue, at least with the attempt at being painfully polite.
Ryan,The Blade of Dragons 09-25-03, 03:26 PM	The warrior of crimson red appeared looking embarresed "Well I guess I didn't wait that long and helping Osia probaly didn't help much so maybe you guys could forgive me, Osia didn't even give me all my powers so If you still are willing to help me that would be nice, but you don't have to it was my foolish mistake so I will wait here for awhile," then the warrior sat down and put a note down too

Agudo Archmage 09-25-03, 06:54 PM	The air was fresh, and the sun was just poking its head out of the early morning clouds. The two adventures were walking closer to the cave; and had just seen the dragon Lord return. At the same time several familiar faces standing near the cave. Agudo quickly reached into one of his many hidden pockets, and took out his spectacles. “I say Hoot, isn’t that the lovely Ruthia? And by the Light! Isn’t that Gene talking…..to….KAT!” Lady Hoot saw Gene and Ruthia but not elusive Kat. She turned her head to Agudo, as she sat in her traditional spot, on his shoulder and asked. “How do you know Kat is here, my magical friend? Agudo looked at Hoot, then at Kat, as they came closer. “Cant you…..see…? Oh wait I have my magical glasses on, that’s why I can see her.” Agudo hands them to Hoot who puts them on. Looking rather cute with her new glasses, and wise owl face. “Ahh there she is” Hoot smiled. ((OOC not sure if your still hidden Kat, but I thought my post worked it all out anyway.)) Just then they came upon the others, Agudo was huffing after his long hilly walk. “I may be in a young mans body, but I feel like my full two hundred years, after that exercise.” He gave a tip of his hat and genteel toothy grin, to all he knew. “May I say (Gene), you looking fit today, always prepared as usual my friend.” Agudo then turned to (Kat) and put his hat over his heart “Dear Kat I see like myself, that you still grieve for Kheldar as do we all. Yet you have bravely come, to the aid of this self proclaimed Dragon Lord. May all that is good shine with you, and your compassionate heart.” Lady Hoot spoke to both Gene and Kat at that moment. “Truly I am happy to see you both. I have missed you; and hope are next meeting will not be so far apart,” Agudo then gave a polite bow to (Ruthia), who was still a little ways away. But he spoke loud enough to be heard. “Ruthia you look as stunning as ever, it is good to see you take up this call of the righteousness.” The wise owl asked to be excused as she flew over to Ruthia, greeting her enthusiastically. The Archmage of Light then thought out loud “Speaking of! Do any of you know exactly who this evil Osia, we our fighting?”
Ryan,The Blade of Dragons 09-25-03, 07:40 PM	The warrior looked up and replied "It is pretty simple all we have to do is go to my home world through the portal get some of my gear by what you want and we jump angain to go to my sister's world and slay everything in sight, as you can see the reason you were all needed is that know can take on a whole planetof evil with out getting killed because of all the monstrosoties attacking you at once, speaking of monsters the enemies are artifact enhanced humans that range from giant six armed men to tiny poking insect human things once you see them you will know what I mean my sister is blonde and wheres white armor, but she is evil and I need my sword from home to even pentrate her skin. So if your coming in jump through I will wait for every one stay on the other side," with that the red armored man waited for the others decision.
Branth 09-25-03, 09:18 PM	Suddenly a voice is heard from down the hill leading to the cave. "Wait for me!" Grinning ear to ear a twelve year old boy runs up to the group. "Good you didn't leave without me!" Branth suddenly see's several people he knows and stops, figure he'll get in trouble for joining....especially since his headmaster, teacher and sister are part of the group!

But it sounds like you need someone with an army, like Sir Trystan." "Not me?"
Ryan,The Blade of Dragons 09-26-03, 03:19 PM	The young man was studying the old portal when he spoke "First thi portol doesn't seem right so we need to find another way are there any nomes that could build us something and about Sir Trystan how could we get him to help, but we really need a machine or something so we can go to my world and get an army of dragons so I guess we have to find a nome , this should be a ton of fun," the party was ready were ready ,but what they will incounter was differnt was because the army of evil they would not just attack every plane strongest first then finish the weaker ones or use an easy trick plague to wipe out everything no one new what was next, but the warrior was sure of these new.......friends

Agudo Smiled at the (Dwarf Keldin) and then looked to the others, as they showed their dismay at Ryan plan. “Excuse me for interrupting, as I can see this has turned into quite a debate.” The Light mage said, as he considered the possibilities. “Ryan Is there away to circumvent the army, and sneak into the place where Osia maybe caught alone?”

You have to relizes that Pern is a very isolated planet, heck Pern dragon's are nothing but a gentic experiment conducted by the First Settlers. White dragon's weren't even part of the breed till about 500 turns ago when the first white was freed from his shell by his rider, Jaxom. Maybe Ryan can tell us more of what to expect?" Ruthia looks at the girl who just joined them and smiles. "Is she another of your students Agudo? You seem to get your students into some predicamints sometimes don't you?"

I am sorry if I interrupt anything. *The person looks over its shoulder nervously* Can I follow you, on your quest? I need to get out of this area and you would be a perfect opportunity to leave this place. Ill help you defeat this Osia for your companionship. I know you have no reason to trust me, but I might be valuable to the group. I know of both poisonous drinks and cures to poisons, the art of healing and the art of spellcasting. Please, I am desperate.

I have been having lessons at school and belive me I have come a long way. I'm better with a bow than Iam with a sword, I know I have a lot to learn still, but some times the best way to learn is by seeing what others do. I will really try my best and if I get in the way to much you can always send me home." Then she gave a big smile (if that fails she might offer to share the wild berry scones with him.) :bigeyes:
Agudo Archmage 10-01-03, 07:12 PM	As Ruthia is telling him about her race and his students getting into dangerous adventures Agudo turns to see Dager throwing magical creatures, of the evil dead, in and out with his power. “As you can see Ryan, this one who calls himself Dager, is emotionally unbalanced. He tried to attack me at my school, by leaving some of these evil creatures to cause chaos.” The Archmage of Light turns back to Ryan, as he finishes his speech, and ignores Dager. “ This is your party, and while you give your trust, a bit to freely in my opinion. I will not interfere with who comes into your group; never the less I shall (NOT)travel with this evil scum.” Agudo folds his arms as he continues “Dager has sent me several letters, declaring (war) on my school and myself. Do to the fact that I would not let him in danger the students, with his (Dementia Insanity Magic) To be blunt, Dager does not want to help you; he is just trying to get at me and those of the school, like (Gene and Kulideb) At hearing his student speak about forgiveness, the mage frowned at Kulideb “ I know you believe in forgiveness Kulideb, and I will always support you on that. Yet be warned, that the Light shows us; there is a difference from taking a (chance) on forgiving someone, and being (used) by someone. Often the latter being the death of the ones you love; by the treachery of evil, taking advantage of your forgiveness.” Lady Hoot spoke up at that moment. “Kulideb you are free person, and this school of Light; shall not stop you from freely traveling with who you wish. But listen to what Agudo has said, that being the evil in Dager is like a scorpion. It murders because it wants to, not just because it can. So shall Dager in his owl way, either through deception, by being kind to you, or through force and violence, that his kind knows so well.” Agudo brushed at his blue and white robes and then said one last thing. “ I have told you the truth Ryan, if you still want this person; who has declared (war) on me, to go with you. Then I shall find my own way to your Realm, and help separately away from this devil!…… Called Dager.” “What is your final choice Ryan?”
ruthia 10-01-03, 07:46 PM	Silently Ruthia walks closer to Agudo and his students. After listening briefly she speaks up, "I also do not trust anyone else's method of transport. Not saying that I don't trust Dager (Yet) but I have my own method of getting there. I'll still join you, still help. All I require is a clear picture of the place that we are going to." Ruthia awaits Ryan's answer, meanwhile sending a message to Agudo... o O(TP> Closed to Agudo: "Agudo if you do not trust this strange being then I am willing to transport you and your students Between to our destination) Ruthia doesn't do anything to give away that she is talking to agudo telepathically.

Agudo Archmage 10-01-03, 10:12 PM	The lovely white dragon speaks to him, through telepathy he smiles, but does not look at her. Agudo even thanks her and agrees until he heard Ryan say some thing (Shocking) “What’s this!?!?” Agudo asks but all ready knowing the answer. “I did not tell you about Gene and Dagger battle………Nor his dangerous nightmarish attempt to put Kulideb into his demented magical world…… In some evil excuse to supposedly save Kulideb, at the same time nearly driving her insane, with that dark magic.” Agudo stands closer to Ryan and looking him in the eye. “You all ready know Dager!….. If good people killed your friends, then your friends must have been evil, as Dager, and they could very well have deserved it.

He swung again and then dropped and just scraped Osia's legs, but that was enough to take her soul the blade did it's job and he would use it to rid the world of evil ......... He woke up in a forest and checked to see if he still had his blade it was there and he went out and saw a group of travelleres. THE END
