It has black wooden walls and on the inside it has a few different rooms inside: A foyer, a central hallway, a training hall, a mess hall, student and instructor quarters, an armory stocked with all kinds of shinobi weapons, and a house off to the side OOC: Anyone can enroll or teach at the school, you can use this as a base for other adventures. |

He is dressed elegantly, fine chainmail barely seen beneath his easy to move in, yet beautiful clothing. He comes to Sihgneg and Exili, looks them over, and says eloquently, I heard that this school, he motions behind them, is looking for teachers. My name is Devon Kiarril. I am a sorceror, and a rogue of sorts, and would like to settle down a bit. I was curious, in exchange for room and board, if I could teach your students. He looks around, before saying, when they come of course. |

| Lord Tarran03-21-04, 10:07 AM | Finally awaking from his room at the academy, totally unaware of the preceding events, Devonis dressed in easy to move in black clothes. Within a few minutes, he had set up a magical bubble around himself. Within it, he went through many complex rapier motions, mock fighting. For those who could see magic, they can see it running away from him, and back towards him, more focused always on the return. One hour later, Connor releases the shield around him, sheathes his sword on a chair near by, and proceeds to go about getting ready for the day. Yet another hour later he is dressed in similar black clothes, though now they cover his chainmail. He has also placed an amulet around his neck, a simple medallion in the shape of a snake biting its own tail. FOr those that can see magiic, the ring is the only thing that has visible magic, as if it hides all others. He looks fairly refreshed and soon steps out of his rooms into the mess hall. Noticing that no one is around, he looks up through the glass roof. Soon, he realizes, it is not even an hour to dawn yet, as he sets out to the kitchen, where he himself begins to prepare food for himself. This meal would consist of eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, and most other known breakfast stuffs, that he would set down at one table. After all cooking and cleaning had been finished, he sat down to eat, back to a wall, eyes able to watch the enitre room. A book appears in his hands, "Magistres Draco Umbrae." He eats, awaiting the others awakening. |

After asking how many have ever been in a fight, even if it had been nothing but a childhood scuffle, he becomes more annoyed, seeing none of the 15 students who had entered had any form of experiece. Grabbing the wooden swords he had spent the morning making, he passes them to his students. After spending a few minutes teaching them the basics of sword play, he sets them to drilling, until lunch had passed, and dinner was soon to be over. After giving his now exhausted students their dismissal, Devon grabbed a quick snack in the mess, before heading to the teacher's lounge, collapsing in a chair, hoping the either someone would come in, or not. He actually didn't much care at this point. |

Her hands search over the person until she sighs sadly with confirmation.* "...dead," she whispers, "but how?" *She stands and gazes down the long corridor, seeing Sihgneg and the person that had so suddenly apologized.* "Where are the rest of them?" she calls, her voice a soft echo and her curiousity ablaze. |

His long black hair rests easily down his back, pulled back off his shoulders. His pointed ears and fine cheek bones show him to be of elf heritage. He has intense, hauntingly beautiful red eyes, and they scan the area immediately around him. He wears a very thin chainmall shirt under a black tunic and black pants. The bottoms of the pants are tucked into black ankle high boots that are turned down, un-tied at their top so alittle more flexibility can be had. He has a red headband tied around his forehead, and it matches his red eyes perfectly. One earring hangs from his left ear, a thin silver chain with a small green ball, Malachite most likely, attached to it. Strapped to his waist are twin rapiers, one on each side. The one on his left, which he draws with his right hand, has an upside down U shaped hilt, the ends curving back out alittle. The handle is black leather-bound, and the pommel has a small metallic flame, which signifies this blades purpose. The other rapier has an h style hilt, where the top part of the h is the handle and blade, and the curving part is the guard. The bottom of the curved part of the h comes down alittle more, curving back to the handle, only below it instead of connected to it. The whole hilt is gold. The handle is brown leather-bound and the pommel has a small green orb, an exact copy to the earring, attached to it. The elf walks easily through the complex, surveying everything, looking at the weapon's room more intently than the others, and he walks again to the front of the complex, waiting to be greated. |

He takes the blade off his shoulder and lays its point right next to the other, making both arms cross in front of his chest, a clearly defensive gesture. |

| Naiilo06-16-04, 11:59 PM | ((ooc: Depends really. I've been playing Garrin for almost a year straight now (and we play every week), so his actual character is level 27. I can play him lower if it would please you. He's a rogue/assassin/planeshifter (custom class, more on that later). He fights alot like Artemis Entreri. The planeshifter class was granted to him by a god that needed a vessel that could travel the Prime Material and Astral Planes without hendrance. In Garrin's possession is Band of Flowing Plane, which is a necklace that looks like a river flowing tightly around his neck (the actual necklace is just a few pieces of shiny silver intertwined to give it a flowing look, but it was enchanted by the god.) This necklace gives the bearer the ability to slip into and out of The Prime Material and Astral Planes at will. (Think Raziel from Soul Reaver, The Prime Material and Astral being exact copies of each other, just one is physical and one isn't. This, without saying, gives him a huge advantage, being able to slip into the AP while in front of an enemy, then back to TPM behind him in the blink of an eye. Drip and FieryBreathe, his rapiers, are also quite powerful. I can lower his skills if necessary though. Drip, along with it's magical ability to "boil" blood if it comes in contact with it, also grants it's wielder a free attack every round, but with a 15% chance of making the wielder flat-footed due to the unusual speed of the attack, and it also draws the "boiled" blood into the wielder, healing HP as it does so (although not alot, it suffices). Fierybreathe is a bane of ice elements, but it also has a few fire spells equiped to it, most melee. He's all-around a bad arse character lol. We can duel if you want, we could probably create a whole thread for this duel and post our character sheets etc.... |

Standing to the left of Sihgneg, Garrins draws into the earring on his ear, then whips Drip backwards, sending the identical ball upon the hilt shooting out towards the opponent, it being attached by a small but very durable chain. As the ball flys towards the prone warrior, it glows a fierce green and also grows in size, to be as large as a large man's palm. |

Garrin spins as he lands, right in front of the Slaad but protected do to the flying blade, and spins a full circuit around the Slaad, stopping behind and lunging his dagger forward, towards the Slaad's back. |

With a mental thought, Garrin uses one of FieryBreathes magical abilities and heats the blade up, to the point where he could barely hold onto it for it was so hot. Heating the chain along with it, making it soft, Garrin brings his dagger down atop the taunt metal and snaps the chain in half, right at the pommel of the blade. With a sweeping motion, trying to avoid anything that came his way from his shape-shiftng opponent and covering his move to sheath his dagger so he had one hand free, Garrin spun low, buttocks almost scraping the ground as his knees bent, and turned a full circuit to the left, snatching the now three inch chain, with the green malachite ball attached to it, off the ground and sliding it into a pocket near the daggers handle, which he drew again before he rose to his full height, stand a few feet from his original position. All his moves were quite beautiful, precise to perfection, but they cost him also........He was beginning to tire. |

Tatooes covered his upper body, black and purple pictures of snakes that seemed to "slither" across his body. He brings two daggers from his boots and begins to spin them with his mind, each following a different rapier and giving his defense a four-blade barrier. |
