in 1984 this company called tsr made the marvel superhero role playing game which did pretty well for the time and then later on we saw the advanced version and then not to long after that we saw the saga version and then even later than that we saw yet another poor attempt at a great idea , so heres my suggestion take it for what its worth . Right now there are two minis games that have superheroes as its mainstay we have heroclix and hero-scape two great games but could be better and what better place to have it done the way it should be then right here at wotc. to have a marvel and dc miniatures game that could even develop into a great rpg system is what the fans need and want. i will even guarantee that if you took a poll and asked people if they would enjoy buying/playing a superhero rpg/minis game that you would get a great response from us , not to mention i believe the sales would be astronomical and you could even do it d20 style as well as make the minis to the right scale they should be instead of what we've currently seen with the other two games. well thats my rant and i know this probably wont reach whoever it needs to but for whoever steps up and reads this if youre a superhero fan tell me you wouldnt be interested in seeing the MARVEL/DC MINIS/RPG game in the near future

Yeah, the company called TSR was bought by WotC. How else would WotC be able to publish the official Dungeons & Dragons game?

FYI.

...and then even later than that we saw yet another poor attempt at a great idea ,
Marvel Universe RPG was the first and only RPG published solely under the Marvel Comics label.

so heres my suggestion take it for what its worth .
AFAIK...

Wizkids still have the miniatures license to both Marvel and DC Universe franchises.

West End Games have the RPG license to DC Universe franchise.

Hasbro have some kind of an agreement with Marvel, but so far nothing has been revealed to the public yet.

Personally, the Mutants & Masterminds rules is the best d20-based superhero RPG ruleset ... without the d20 System label, and can easily adapt both Marvel and DC Comics characters.
