Ok one of the D&D rules is a cleric cannot be more then two steps away from his deity. I was wondering if this rule would apply to a character who has been mislead or mis-taught by his clerical masters about his god. My character Vulkorran d'Vole worships mainly two god both are registered as Lawful Evil while my character is Chaotic Good. Both of his gods (Gorellik: The former patron Gnoll god of Hunting and Falazure: The Dragonic Deity of undeath.) are lesser powered gods and very little is known about both. He knows very little Gorellik having only read about him in history books and worships him because he is Half-Gnoll. He was taught by a preacher of Falazure who formerly belonged to The Order of the Silver Flame (see details here: [http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=941700]). I am trying to make a Lich on the side of good. Think I could get away with it?

Helm of opposite alignment. Have it in your backstory that you became a lich, subtract the price of the helm from your starting gold, and you're good.

Silver Flame? You're in Eberron? Doesn't Eberron ignore the one-step rule for Cleric alignment?

Aren't there rules for good liches in one of the Faerun books?

I know there are rules for it in Libris Mortis.

Baelnorn's and Archliches in Monsters of Faerun, IIRC.

How much does it cost?

The helm (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/cursedItems.htm#helmofOppositeAlignment) costs 4000 gp. If you are starting a level where you can afford the lich's level adjustment, you should be able to pay the cost of the helm.
