| j0lt07-08-07, 10:00 AM | Is it time for this thread again? Short answer: With d20 Modern. Long answer: Freddy Kruger was a child-killer who was burned alive in his boiler room in an act of revenge by the parents of the dead Elm St. children. I'm still working on a template for this one. He was described as a "dream demon" in one of the movies (first one?). In dreams, he's incorporeal and unkillable. When pulled into the real world, he's just an ugly guy with a fancy glove. Michael Myers is easy. Tough Hero with Boogeyman template. Jason Voorhees is a bit trickier. The Boogeyman AND Maniac templates both work, but at the same time, he's undead. |
| DragonBringerX07-09-07, 02:51 AM | When Freddy vs Jason came out, one of my friends turned towards me and said "Hey, Jason is like a modern flesh golem...only not put together" I liked the sound of that and would stick to that. You can make him undead if you'd like instead sense it IS more accurate. |

| cat_god07-10-07, 04:57 PM | He was described as a "dream demon" in one of the movies (first one?). Sixth. And I liked Freddy vs. Jason... |
| i_am_some_guy07-10-07, 05:58 PM | Sixth. And I liked Freddy vs. Jason... ...urp... I'm sorry... I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.... The Master of Horror (http://www.mastersofhorror.net/) series is pretty good, and each episode (well, almost...everyone dies in some...) is perfect for an adventure setting. |
| cat_god07-11-07, 12:21 PM | Oh dear... I'm sorry. But Masters of Horror looks really cool. I want to see the John Carpenter ones. |
| j0lt07-12-07, 10:50 AM | There's a 3rd party book, I think it's called Blood and Blades, and it's got all sorts of stuff for making the classic '80s style slasher campaign. |
| cat_god07-12-07, 01:12 PM | Ooh! I'll look for that! |
