Does anyone see the possibilities in this? I'm fairly prolific when it comes to building stuff in Lego, so consider this. You have any monster you need on short notice if you look carefully, or mix and match. A Gamorrean makes an excellent orc in a pinch, and if you've got any of the Castles series, you're set for a fine adventure. You can outfit pretty much any typical humanoid adventurer with the contents of your bin. Batman sets or stuff from Brickarms give you all you need for d20 Modern. And does anyone have stats for Bionicles? |

What I mean, though, is just using minifigs-and in a pinch, Lego dragons will work for a Young dragon. Of course, if you want to do brick-derived dragons, you're better off with Megabloks Dragons. Bigger and cooler-the only thing Mega Bloks has ever done right. Besides, it's too awesome to have a Lego doomsday device, or massive mech, or something... Also, consider-wouldn't it be cool to have stats for, say, Lego Racers, from both the Drome and the new ones? |
| InkBlot08-04-07, 01:52 AM | I use lego minifigs as minis for my own characters, but I don't have enough bricks or minifigs left to use them when DMing. Legos are great. Have you seen The Lego Fantasy Roleplaying Game? (http://www.3rd-imperium.com/LFRP/index.html) It's awesome. It's unique. I desperately want to play it, but I don't have enough bricks (or money to buy them). There's also BrikWars (http://www.brikwars.com/), which is more of a lego wargame, like Warhammer. But that's just one of the ones with a better website. There's a suprisingly large number of Lego tabletop games. (http://www.brikwars.com/wargames.htm) Legos bricks and minfigs aren't videogames, so this thread would probably be better off in General D&D. If you were talking about converting ideas from the Lego Starwars games into D20, then this would be the right place. If you wanted to make a generic Lego D20 game, or somehow incorporate legos into the rules, then D20 Design General would be the right place. |
