This is probably so old:

...So, any Gish with generalist wizard, at least 15th casting -- or 13th casting and Thesis, or 11th casting and thesis and Practical SC...

A bit of metamagic cheese, say Empower + Twin or Admixture

So, anyway, Quick Draw, TWF, maybe a bit of swordsage for Mongoose;

Craft some Spellstoring daggers, for about 4K + 320 XP, every now and then.
10 of those only cost 80K, quite accessible at higher levels.

Eventually, you'll end up with enough of them.

Persist Wraithstrike, if you don't like your chances of hitting,

Haste, Mongoose, Quick Draw new daggers, drop old as free...
4 hits from Mongoose, 1 from Haste and 2 from TWF.
All carrying 36d6 worth of Scorching Rays. Which is effectively still a 2nd level spell, if you didn't heighten it.

That's 252d6, average 882.
And that's not presuming, oh, Assassin's Stance, Shadow Blade or anything.

Effectively, another arcane nova, except you're not actually using much spells.

But, what is the best build for something like this? Should one care about additional carriers as per usual per-hit? Should one pick a different spell?
Does this favor Gishes more, or Arcane Tricksters? Would this fit Daggerspell Mage?

Mm... Steeldance+Spellstoring...

Spellstoring arrows are cheaper. You get a -4 penalty to attack in melee, though, so it's up to you whether the ridiculous price decrease is worthwhile.

Yes, but you can reload the daggers when you get a day's peace and quiet. Arrows break and need to be replaced, constantly.

But you're using them as melee weapons, not ranged weapons, so they shouldn't break.

Can you store non-damaging spells in the daggers? Like some cheesed out utility spells that could do Time Stop-ish effects?
