JudeSedai 07-12-05, 03:55 PM	The Silver Lyre is open for business! After a great deal of thought and consideration, I’ve decided to open up my own inn based on one I created for my own Forgotten Realms campaigns. The Silver Lyre is owned by Faedren Darktwin, leader of the Silver Tears adventuring company, and Amaya Silverblood, one of the Tears’ founding members. It sits in the walled town of Dockview, which is not terribly far from Waterdeep (the name, in fact, comes from the view from the top of the hill that stands outside of the Silver Lyre – from the top of the hill, one can see the docks at Waterdeep). The Silver Lyre thread is open by nature, but if you want to play townsfolk of Dockview, I ask that you contact me first. Many of the townsfolk are already established, some are former player characters of various individuals who have played in my games. I do still use the town in my Forgotten Realms games, so my having an idea of who’s who in Dockview is definitely something I have a vested interest in. Likewise, I ask that anyone who participates in this thread respect me as you would respect any Gamemaster. This inn and this town are of my creation. Beyond that, all I really ask is that your characters be believable for the environs that they’re in. If you think your character might be iffy, feel free to ask me about it. I’ll be happy to share my thoughts on them. I will post more on the features of the town of Dockview at a later point. Enjoy!

JudeSedai 10-06-05, 08:34 PM	The Silver Lyre is a Harper haven, for those of you to whom the term means something. Faedren Darktwin has paid his dues and as a result has found himself recently somewhat high in a particular organization that shall remain nameless.
JudeSedai 10-25-05, 10:57 AM	It hasn't taken effect yet, but fairly soon, the common room of the Silver Lyre will have wards lain on it that prohibit the use of all but the most minor of spells (0-1st level spells). Any magic that was in effect prior to entry remains in effect, but no new spells can be cast in the common room itself. This will be in effect once Amaya resets the wards.
