Thogroar 02-21-04, 05:27 PM	Yeah, If I'm not allowed to have something like this on here, go ahead and Cann it.... I live in a small town, and there's not much chance for any Roleplaying much at all. I used to have a group that I gamed with, but over the years people have moved away. It's been rough. The thing is, I still really enjoy roleplaying, but I don't really have the time to go to many-hour gaming sessions online. However, I do have plenty of time to post on the boards. Is there anyone out there that might be interested in starting a campaign on these boards, starting with low-level, and working our way up? I'll DM, if no one else wants to. I've always Enjoyed Forgotten Realms, and I recently got the Deadland's setting and would love to play on that. But I"m not picky, a good campaign is more about the people than the setting. Are there any other mature roleplayers out there that wanna start somethin up? ~E

The consensus seems to be leaning toward FR, and I have no time to learn a new game world. I must repectfully bow out, unless you would like a "generic" PC running around with NO KNOWLEDGE of the Game World. Also, I keep forgetting.... I'm trying to reduce the time I spend on Wizards. This place is becoming less and less interesting to me of late, so.... if you don't mind only one or two posts a day, a player who knows zilch about the game world (and isn't really looking to learn) and a "generic" character, I guess I COULD play.

Thogroar 02-22-04, 04:39 PM	Alright, we've got 3 people, possibly 4. Should we start it up, and hope some more people join up at the beginnin? Does anyone wanna DM? or should I? Kami: FR is just about as close to a generic fantasy world as you can get. there isn't much special about it. It's got it's own nations and cultures and stuff, of course. but there aren't really any special rules. 'least, not in my oppinion. I do like Deadlands, though, and I'll probably try to get something with that together at some point in time. If you know anyone else who'd be interested, send them my way. If you decide to not do the FR thing with us, then I'll keep you in mind for an eventual deadlands campaign. ~E

If I play at all, as I have already said it'll be Generic Character, No Knowledge of Game World. I don't have time to learn a new campaign world. If you don't mind this, I suppose I could play.

I'm guessin that we'll probably get a few more when we start the actual adventure, then we'll close it. If no one else wants to, I guess I'll try my hand at DMing. I suppose we'll freeform this, which means it'll be a lot less combat-oriented than your normal dice-adventure. Is there any particular location that you all would be interested in being in? Also, could everyone who's gonna play roll out a 1st level char, of a normal race? I'll allow you to use the extra feats and skills and stuff in the FRCS, and Magic of Faerūn. A thread looking specifically for RPG players should really be in the RPG Classifieds section, as this section is only for MotPs games. That would be free-form, whatever setting. I'm in the process of reducing how much time I spend on the Wizards boards, so I might not be around by then. The last thread I'm involved in seesm to be on it's way to nowhere right now, so I might be gone sooner than I thought....
