The Renegade Master 10-07-03, 09:27 PM	OOC: Ok, I am sure many of you have seen the many thread dealing with The Dark Tides and the recent Demon that has appeared. What good story of Darkness is complete with out a story of light. I am looking for some good minded people to... try and stop the "bad Guys" that have gone someplace they shouldn't have "The Sunken City" I would also like To send an open invite to people both good and bad to these threads. Also.. if possible i would like to speak with Bhyrn (I dont have a addy to talk to you with) about up coming events. Of course thier are rules to every game. And with Atlas she would just get along pretty good, which isn't a common trait {Atlas rarely likes someone who's very different}. So... i suppose Shaktah is the least-interresting choice, currently. And why does the DM not respond?

These storys are also going to lead up to some other threads as well. As far as characters go, as long as thier not super gods or jsut plan dumb I don;t mind any character realy. Could i then play a science fiction char? she/he would have fantasy class (i think ranger or thief or bard) and all, but be low level and instead know a lot of things that no'one knows yet and babble about the future

I for one find it boring to bring guns, or cars on to a Forgotten Realm style game. The whole point for most people is to get away from modernisms. To get lost in the story of an age of mystery.

The one i thought to play doesn't have cars guns or any futuristic equipment because he fell to the world with only his flesh and nothong else - material objects couldn't be transfered with him so even his clothes are clothes he got in the fantasy world but he has all his knowlege from his futuristic life. After she came to the fantasy worls she can't go back and had to lern to live so she became either thief or ranger or both but is still low level and most consider him/her a mad genious

The Renegade Master 10-12-03, 09:58 PM	Its ok having a bunch of wachos :) I must say thought a sci-fi character is not going to work to well. Simply put thier will be major conflicts of interst. Gene, I dont mind you playing both or one or the other realy. As long as you don;t meta game its fine by me to play both sides. As long as characters are different characters. A new Thread should be opening soon. I have to finalize a few more details. However the Sunken City (grrrr Sudden City) thread is still active. The City of Trelail is going to morf into this new thread since we will have more people and hopefuly a bit mroe direction :)

The Renegade Master 10-23-03, 06:57 PM	OK all... between various mess ups and net trouble I have been away which I am very sorry about. I wish i had been able to let everyone know what was happening. But unfortunely this problem happened to a few of us in the same area (Namely the Gms LOL) Ok I will be away on family affairs this weekend and one of the other GMs will be going to a convention, so things will be on hold for a few more days. Com Monday night however things will be coming back in full force :) So please stay with us. The City Thread is going to have a over view kind of skip ahead type thing to intruduce new characters and help tie it back into what is happening in the Sunken City thread. Renegade.
