| Traygin04-23-07, 05:00 PM | Just curious what other game systems do people play besides D&D? Such as Castles & Crusades, Swords and Sorcery etc… And what system is close to a D&D style game? |
| Deper04-23-07, 09:14 PM | What does this have to do with Future Releases for Dungeons & Dragons? |
| GrimshofHighSorcery04-23-07, 09:18 PM | play C&C, it is rules light, VERY cheap, you only need 2 books! and it has that old school feel, and is compatible with every form of DnD. Bruce |
| Krome04-24-07, 02:02 AM | What does this have to do with Future Releases for Dungeons & Dragons? Let's face it, if WizCo goes the way TSR did these WILL be the future editions. In fact when TSR went to 2nd edition (what a lousy system THAT was) My entire group, and many others I knew, switched to GURPS. I still think GURPS is a superior system to d20 and would use it if I could get my current closed minded players to try it. If 4th edition stinks (and rumors of what it will contain indicates it will-See ENWorlds 4th edition rumor list) we will either return to 3.0 or switch to GURPS again. |

Good points, I will have to check out enworld. |
| Ranger REG04-24-07, 09:21 PM | Just curious what other game systems do people play besides D&D? Such as Castles & Crusades, Swords and Sorcery etc… You mean a different traditional fantasy-genre RPG? I played a little A Game of Throne RPG (from Guardians of Order). And what system is close to a D&D style game? A Game of Throne RPG, mechanics-wise. |
