samurai 7 based campaign [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-09-07, 09:32 AM i am planning on starting my own campaign with oriental adventure style campaign and story and enemies based off samurai 7 (story is the aftermath of the war between the nobuseri and kanna village) and i need templates for the samurai 7 wardens, nobuseri ninjas, the nobuseri and the enemis that are in a can shaped suit of hovering armour i can't think of what they are called. I will also need a template on how to become a nobuseri and how to become a mechanical person like kikuchiyo. finally i could also use some town name ideas and character name ideas if u wish becuase i frankly can't think of much japanese names. if u could help me out it would be greatly aprreciated.

oh and this is my first campaign so if u got tips on dming campaigns for beginners i sure could use them

once again it would be greatly appreciated

11-11-07, 05:17 PM You could have the mechanicals as Warforged, but they are probably bigger and stronger than the average version. I'm not very familiar with warforged though - I don't have any Eberroni material. The samurai would probably just be high-ish level characters, maybe using the ToB classes or psychic warrior levels for a little extra punch.

11-12-07, 06:11 PM ok so bascially amplify the constructs template as nobuseri and amplify the constructs a little as mechanical samurai? and i am using the classess from the oriental adventures book so i got the pc classess but i will add in a part of my own as a bonus that they earn and thx for the advice

11-12-07, 09:21 PM if that idea before works out then i can do the template for the pcs and possibly 3 out of the 4 enemies but first a question i need answering before anything is done....which book is the contruct template in? lol

11-13-07, 06:32 AM Construct... template? Dude, what are you talking about? Constructs are a creature type, get your d20 facts right. I've heard of an awakened construct template, which is in Savage Species. You may want to check it out if you want to run a campaign with less traditional characters/NPCs.
