Has anyone written up stats for Sherlock Holmes for use in Call of Cthulhu or Call of Cthulhu d20? There's a PC game with Sherlock Holmes and the Mythos and I was interested in seeing what his stats would be in an RPG.

I hear from a lot of people that Call of Cthulhu d20 is "childish" in comparison to "true" Call of Cthulhu.

Do their statements hold truth?

I wouldnt say that,

The only difference is the mechanics are different, it is d20 based instead D100.
Its all still H.P.Lovecraft, the only thing i would say is that the D20 CofC is a lot less detailed (in terms of the magic system, background info and the stats for mythos creatures) but I dont think it would be that difficult to convert some of it to D20, i have kept my standard CofC books for this reason

Get this: I have a copy of an book of related shorts stories dedicated to Sherlock Holmes and Call of Cthulhu!

Here are it's specs:

Title of book: Shadows over Baker Street

Edited by Michaek Reaves and John Pelan.

It's a fairly recent book, so you can probably find it in a book store or online.

Note: I have only completed reading at least one story in this book.
