((OOC Welcome One and All! :D
Those of you who seek a fun action pack game that does not come to a stop, every time a player or GM/DM takes a month off!
Then this is for you

Yep if you can only play once a month, or everyday, this game works for your Char and your time lol

Most of the game will happen outside of your "Character" influence
Allowing you to flesh out your Chars and not trying to keep up with the GM "Main Story"
Feel free to use this story for sub plots, about your Chars, or clear up your Chars past.

Like I said the Main Game will happen around your Char.

The main rules come down to this...
1 Its a Faerun Style game
2 Clasic Faerun Fantasy Style Char only *No Space Age or Modern People*
3 NO gods players with all powerful Chars
4 Your Chars can be low or simi high lv...BUT see Rule (3)

O' and have fun)))

As the sunrises over the northern frigid Mountains of the Spine of the World.
A cold breeze began to blow down from the Spine’s craggy tops, onto the large military campgrounds below
Reminding all who lay in its wake, why this place was considered so forbidding

Sticking her head out slowly from the warm tent, a young human female Knight cringed at the frosty reception.
So this is hell?
She mumbled jokingly, more to herself than to anyone near her.

Yet a disgruntled voice rang from behind her, with less deference for her whimsy than most.
Good Lady Saundra!
If you don’t mind....

Turning slightly to see her Halfling roommate Mazzy Fentan; whose bloodshot eyes made very clear, what would be said next.

I was the one blessed with the first watch last night, and all I ask, is to be given just enough sleep, to help me hold my sword, without falling over!

Saundra stiffened a giggle, not wishing to upset Mazzy further; for she delighted in all her roommates’ mix of righteous morels and good hearted attitude.
Never the less, this wee Halfling Knight, could be angrier than a drunken Dwarf, when it came to a lack of shuteye.

Ignoring obvious merriment at her perturbed tirade, Fentan continued her verbal lashing
As you can hear...

Waving her furry hand about
The morning bugler hasn’t even sounded, and I would be most pleased.....

Pounding her feather pillow to make her point
If you stopped acting like a school girl on a camping trip!

With that the sleepy Halfling turned over, attempting to fall back to sleep.

With one last look out the tent, Saundra watched as the colorful banners of the Radiant Heart Order, to flutter in the wind wieldy
Plenty of time for freezing my armor off latter
She thought whimsically closing the flap to the tent.

Once inside the darken tent the Knight ponderd why she came ....

It maybe hellish she mused but it was good location
The camp was located between the River Surbin and Moonwood Forest
Just on the bottom basin of the Spine of the World Mountain Range
An ideal spot for forays into the deeper parts of the Northern reaches
It was a well known fact, for the last thousand years, that the nastier creatures of the Realms; from Hobgoblins Giants and Orgs, used this river to access to the southern reaches.

Normally they didn’t come out in large numbers, unless something or someone drove them out
Such as starvation, do to over population, or a particularly clever being, who could manipulate the splintered tribes into a large fighting force

But not this time!
For a large army of Human, Elvin,Gnomes, Halflings and Dwarvin fighting forces; had joined together to exterminate the Northern monsters, once and for all.

And that’s why I am here, she grimaced at the painful reasoning.
Sitting down on her cot she sighed out loud
When WaterDeep fell, it was a shock to the Mortal lands for thousands of miles.
So much power and wealth gone in a single season
All do to those disgusting smelly green monsters.

Just then a loud roar was heard in the distance
Several buglers called the camp to morning revelry

Mazzy sat straight up in bed
What was that?
Are we under siege?!?!

She proclaimed as her wee body jump up and ran over to the tent flap;
poking her leafy head out Mazzy squinted as the light reflect off the permafrost
O’ god!

Saundra came over as well
Orgs?

Mazzy shook her head
Worse!
The Dwarfs are here

Slamming her pudgy fist onto the rickety tabletop, in turn causing several goblets and map pins to shutter.
The piqued middle aged Dwarf turned to the others, her face becoming as red as the pigtails that poked out of her spiked helmet.
Tis as I said, ar’s new and most beloved queen of Mithral Hall, has agreed to allow yer supply depot as ye call it.
But nay!...and I say Nay agin!....thy request fer troops is denied!

Glancing around the candle lit tent, the Dwarf took note of those about her, reminding herself that this was a diplomatic mission
Several shield insignias, hung from the inner poles representing the powerful city-states and other organizations that made up the alliance
One pole stood empty that being for the Dwarvin Clan of Mithral Hall, in hopes that they would join
Frowning at the sight, she flipped one of her pigtails out of the way, as a wee fellow spoke up

An elderly Gnome with graying blue hair, stood on the wooden chair that held his slim body
Sooo emissary Gandel Kidneystones.

He said with an equally huffy tone that became louder and louder
Were supposed to do all the hard work, while you’re kind hides in dark holes....
....watching from afar.... like....like.... scared rabbits!

Nervous low laughter could be heard around the large command tent
Gandel eyes narrowed like daggers aimed at the uppity Gnome, once more for the hundreth time, reminding herself this was meeting condoned by her queen
And it would not look well, if she started another brawl, so soon after the last deadly one.
Humph!
Ya misunderstood Admiral Cornelia’s Skyhopper
As thy wee eyes have seen before....

Pointing behind her at the closed tent flap, not moving her acidy gaze from the silly Gnome
I have brought a fighting force to aid thee, against the hordes of the North

Crossing her arms, showing off more than one scar along her biceps
Granted not the thousands ya may have hope fer....but ...
Nay be another group of cut throats, more capable than me fellow Dwarven brigades

Raising a delicate slender hand, was the leader of the alliance army, Lourdes Harpsong
She had sat quietly for the most part, listening to the so called diplomatic niceties take place
Her silken green vestment shimmering with every shake of her body, even thin veil that covered her face, didn’t hide her Half-Elvin features.
Forgive emissary Gandel I don’t understand...didn’t you say your queen has denied are request for troops?

Snickering with more than a little delight
Aye ye heard right.
But there be plenty of smaller Dwarven Clans, that have settled about this cold hearted land; who be more than willing to take revenge, on the green devils of the North

Taking a swig from the goblet before her, Gandel let out a satisfied belch
Now where was I?
Ahh yes...fer ya see, Mithral Hall is thy highbrow brains know, is a mountainess fortress, and won’t fall easily to no outside force.
In fact, it has only fallen once, and that was betrayal from within, hundreds of years ago
And that’s why our beloved queen, will not risk her people on a ground campaign, that has never been done before.

Laughing with clear blood lust in her voice
That being....Heheh.... an attack in the heart of the Northern lands of the Horde
Heheh.... not even yer ancestors Lady Harpsong.... dared to do such a thing
Glad to see, yer not as timid as thy grandfamily were

Not falling for such a obvious ruse, Lourdes Harpsong smiled and put her hand on her heart
I thank you brave Gandel and the aid you have brought us
Also I shall send word to Mithral Hall, that the terms are expectable.
As agreed, we shall send half are winter supplies, up the stream to your clans hold withen a day or two
May the Light forbid!
That this encampment should fall but if it did...

Standing out of respect, Lady Harpsong smiled at Gandil
We have your queen to thank for the new emergincy base
And now if you need anything emissary, please let me know

Gandel nodded her head and gave a small bow
Now is ye dont mind....Ill go and tell me's brethren....will be staying

Then stopping at the flap entrance, letting the cold wind in for a long moment; causing several attendees to grumble at such rudeness.

Yet the red hair Dwarf didn’t look back as she spoke
O’ Admiral...
If I be wanting an opinion of a talking blue haired rat....ill lets ye know
With that she walked out slamming the tent flap behind her; leaving the Gnome cursing every Dwarf in the land

(Northern Ice Lands)
Cant st..st...stop!
Her knees slamming into the cold icy slush beneath her
Mustn’t gi..gi give up!

Bloody stubby Gnomish fingers, grabbing frantically at the jagged rock nearby
The military leather gloves that once protected her hands; now have been frayed away days ago, in the desperate struggle to survive this hellish land.

She knew this was it.
Its all my fault...

(Base Camp)

Drinking a freshly brewed pot of tea, Lourdes Harpsong read the daily logs before her
The Winter blankest we ordered, have not arrived yet?

Standing straight, private Mycelia came out of his train of thought
I am sorry Madam?
Its just... I was....

Putting down her elegantly made tea cup, Lourdes puzzled about him
I have known you for years Mycelia
You were one of the first to enter the reclaimed Elvin lands with me
In fact, I was there for your internship into the Elvin Rangers brigade
Now tell me what is distracting you my loyal aid!

A tear started to form in his green hazel eyes, causing Mycelia to turn away
Forgive me Madam, its nothing

Sighing she stood, clearing her throat
Must I make it an order?

Seeing that Harpsong would live up to her name, by famously harping, until she got what she wanted
Mycelia normally pleasant like voice broke as he spoke
Its... the deep mole group.

Walking over to her now very emotional aid, she smiled
I remember how handsome you looked, on the day I introduced you to Lillian
Your silver hair in a ponytail and wearing that dashingly fine uniform of the Rangers, on graduation day.

Struggling to return a smile at Harpsong, the aid finally gave up and let the tears run freely
She was so lovely as well
I mean ...still Is!

Clearing his throat he continued
I never met someone so cheerful, and yet so forthright, when it came to our cause.
Lillian would see the brightside of any bad situation
It was her who kept me going, when we lost the battle for Watterdeep

Closing his eyes at the thought
Such a dark time

Nodding her head, Lourdes patted his shoulder gently
Come now!
Its not unusual for infiltration mission, to go silent for awhile
The weather alone is clearly one reason

They both glanced out the tent flap, which showed the open snow covered field
Yes Madam

Harpsong could see, he held little hope in that excuse

(Northern Lands)
Just then a shadow blocked the feeble sunlight above the Gnome, which in turn put even more fear into her eyes
Nooooo!
