A breeze swept over the land. It didn't follow the other winds, but had its own mysterious ways. Flying high above mountains, valleys and forests, it were examining the grounds beneath it thorough. It gives the impression of being a living creature as you felt it charge downwards quickly and then spinning around just in the middle of a glade. The colorful leaves of autumn, were tossed around almost playfully. But the speed of the spinning wind grew omniously, it was not playful anymore; it was determined. Now dust joined the leaves in its exotic dance. With an increasing speed, the wind managed to force even heavier things into its hypnotic spinning. Branches and logs, even a little squirrel, was pulled into the winds. Then, just as nearby trees started too creak, the spinning slowed down. When the winds were slow enough for you too see clearly, you saw a man in red robes standing inside the winds. His robes were completely untouched by the winds, no dust or dirt the could see. His hood were pulled down over his face, so its shadows hid his face. When the wind had settled completely, you could see a single scared squirrel sidding on his shoulder.

"Sit down, Traveller. Rest your legs and sharpen your brain with the stories of pure imagination. Or thruth?"

The question is honest, as if he seeks answers. While you ponder about this, he waves a hand towards the middle of the glade, where all the branches were stabled. A fire emerged from the dry logs, a blue fire. The man sat down on a big log a few feet from the fire and urged you to sit down on a log opposite to him. As you sit down, you can see the shade of a smile on his hidden face

"A long time ago the lands of nothern Durath, was in great grief. Their beloved king had passed away. A deadly disease had been flung upon him and in the end it cost him his life. Even though all the priests and healers of northern Durath had tended him, even though everyone skilled in medication had tried to find a cure, they could do nothing to save his life. The last thing he did before he died was to appoint his betrusted son, Duranin, the throne and rulership over Northern Durath. Duranin were an arrogant young man with only one goal: to revenge his mother. As soon as he was settled on the throne, he started making new laws. All of them were obscene, but one stood out from the other. Duranin claimed that the disease his father had died of, was brought to him by an elf; thus he felt it nessecary to banish every single elf from Northern Durath. If a person found an elf, he had every right to kill him or drag him to the city guards. Unfortunately the people of Northern Durath were naive and sad enough to believe him. If an elf had killed their beloved king, then all elves should die.

It was a rainful night. Anyone who dared go outside would be completely soked when they reached their destination. But some put their health at stake to get to the local inn; The Three feathers. There they would get a drink or two and most importantly: tell and listen to the newest gossip. Four of the visitors were human, one of them too drunk to stand. There was two dwarfes with rain dropping from their beard. There was also a single hooded figure in a shadowy corner, staring fixedly at the other guests under its hood.
"I tell ye, its good somethin' is finally being don' about them ruddy elves. They' nuttin but bad news" a red-bearded dwarf stated loudly. The other dwarf nodded agreeing.
"My fathe', Old Ruport, once got all his gold stolen by a bunch of inbread elves!" the other dwarf said. It was a bit younger than the red-bearded. An old man with a grey beard nodded grimly.
"Yes they were a bunch of trouble-makers, them elves.. Im almost glad theyre gone," he said, pondering. One of the men looked at him, confused.
"What do you mean? Almost?"
"You must admit, they were really handy to have in a fight. Nothing wrong with their aims.." the old man said. The red-haired dwarf stirred.
"Thats why we need to get rid of them! Those bloody, backstabbing elvish *****s would take ye down withou' a single warni--" the red-haired dwarf stopped abruptly. His eyes were widened in fear, his mouth gaping. With a heavy breath the dwarf sat back in his chair and stopped breathing. Its chest had been peneltrated by a single arrow. All of the guests looked to the shadowy corner. The hooded figure was gone."
