~DEW DROP INN~
There is a large crack in the sky as a portal from the Upper Planes is opened. A giant redwood cedar tree is sent through the opening and lightly set upon the ground secretly and strategicly placed within the Autumn Wildwoods.
It is always a dark starlit night in the Autumn Woods where there is a cool
crisp feel to the air. The grounds and trees are covered in a patchwork of brilliant golds, warm orange, and blood red leaves as far as the eye can see. A blackbird calls out from a bush off to the side of you. His voice breaks the silence of the quiet Autumn Woods. As you make your way along the winding
path you see a cotton tailed rabbit nibbling bark from a leafless bush. He twitches his nose, looking to you and swiftly darts off into a thick patch of brushwood. As you aproach the heart of the autumn wood migrating birds fill
the sky with harmonious song. The fragrances of sweet honeysuckle and night jasmine are like a delicate perfume lingering on the cool breeze. There is a great redwood cedar tree ahead of you with windows going up and along the circumference of it's trunk. As you come closer you can see an entrance into a hollow in the tree.
When you enter through the front doors to the Common Room you hear soft music playing and the gentle gurggling of water from a grand
waterfall in the center of the room. Behind the waterfall is a cheerful fire burning in the hearth and plenty of couches and recliners spread over the
common room. There is The Bar to your left, a small cozy Dining Room to your right, and straight ahead there is a candle lit lounge. Between The Lounge and Common Room is a Crystaline Spiral Staircase. Behind the staircase in an oriental style Bath House. There are glass doors in the back of The Lounge leading outside to
the Hanging Gardens of the inn and a vernada with live
vine woven swinging benches. There is an elvish woman standing at the front desk of the inn. The name on the hostesses Front Desk says:
~Jasmine Moonflower~.
She has a pleasant smile and pleasing appearence. She graciously welcomes you inside from out of the chilly air. On the wall behind The Bar, to one side of
the mirror, there is a modest list of beverages and imported wines.

Wine List

Saerloonian Topaz
Yellow amber wine with a nutty quality and bold fruit overtones.

wanting
Clarry
A table wine blend sweetened with honey and spices.
Arabellan Dry
A fine red wine, very dry woodsy overtones and a slight berry taste.
Berdruskan Dark
Heavy sweet and burning, almost black, HIGH alcohol content.
Morimatra
A spiced wine favored by the dark elven community.

All reasonable forms of currency are welcome. All authority figures, officials, and clergy (if any exist here in the Map of the Planes,) eat and drink free. There are always plenty of suitable rooms available. There is always entertainment nightly in The Lounge provided by many different traveling artists and muscians who are welcome to perform for their room and board. This tree is enchanted and run mostly by fey so one can expect any kind of strange things to be happening here at any time. This adventure is many within itself, only to be introduced and revealed through continuous play.
"Time does not pass here. There is no aging, no hunger or thirst. All is done purely for enjoyment. When you return it will be as if you had never left. Such is life in this place, always an autumn sylvan forest under a starlit sky."

It is growing nigh toward the evening. An elvish woman stands at the Front Desk sorting through seemingly endless yet neatly prepared stacks of papers covered with elvish script. Jasmine's mind wanders far away from her work, lost in her dreams. Moths batter their silken wings under the glow of the brightly lit windows. A large moth flutters into the common room and crashes against one of the lamps, disrupting Jasmine's thoughts. The elvish woman breathes a soft sigh and walks over to the lamp to catch the moth. Seeing it unharmed but merely dazed she takes the little creature to the front doors, opens her hands and releases it back into the night. Jasmine returns to the Front Desk and to her work.
Violin music and delicate plaints of a harp drift into the Common Room from The Lounge. The soft low melodic voice of a woman gently melds into the foreground with subtle power and angelic grace.
A barmaid wearing fishnet stockings, dressed in a moderatly frilled skirt and blouse of black and white with tiny black silk bow tie carries a tray of food and drinks into The Lounge where the low sultry voice of a woman gently entwines with harp and violin in song. A siren songstress with luxuriously thick auburn hair and doe-like dark eyes stands before a small circle of dining guests. She is dressed in an oriental designed long evening gown of red and gold silk. She looks to each face before her as if she were personally singing to them. The woman's breathless acticulation smoothes the sounds of the words slowly as pouring honey with perfect consonance and stress of tone. Her motion is fluid and gentle as if she were summoning the tender mercies of the gods.
"Nothing means much
Nor matters anything at all
The life I have left behind
I crossed the last line
From a place I cannot return
Each step I had taken in faith
Betrayed me, leading me away from home

Sweetly I Surrender
All I have to give
You took me in
Without question
Stripped away the ugliness
That once did surround me
You are my angel
My only hope, I will not disappoint you
On my knees I sing,

Sweetly I Surrender
Myself is all I have to give

I don’t understand your kindness
The touch of your hand
I am afraid to fall into the familiar blindness
So beautiful are the little things
I owe you everything

Nothing means much
Nor matters anything at all
The life I have left behind
Is a cold heart and wounded soul
Sweetly I Surrender
Myself is all I have to give."

The music lowers softly to a close and the small crowd politely applaudes as the auburn haired siren takes her bow. The woman turns away and returns back stage to prepare for her next number. The barmaid continues to collect her tips and take orders for more drinks while a busboy clears the tables.

Fireflies buzz about the misty dusk of the evening sky when along comes Gallic laughter echoing off the enchanted forest.
Skipping about without a care in the Realm comes a wee Fay no taller than a rascally squirrel.
His fedora hat sits snugly on his cherub head that matches nicely with the green vest and buckled shoes.
Within the Fay’s hand is a golden violin and it would seem every few minutes this carefree wee fellow will stop and play-dancing about as if all the forest is his stage.

On one such impromptu dance a fluffy cotton tailed rabbit nibbling bark from a leafless bush pops up its head to eye the silly man.

Tipping his hat and speaking with Gallic drawl the wee fellow takes a bow.
“Hoary-me-glory!
Tis me fans come out to’se play’s with little old me....

Laughing and dancing he plays a jig or two then waves good by as the bunny darts off into a thick patch of brushwood

It was then this dancing Bard saw with glee the enchanted tree
He took off his hat an whistled a tune in of bewilderment
“Well now’s me luck tis a changing for I be seeing something new......Hahahaa.... why not!
For I be the luckiest Leprechaun of all.

With that he hops about until coming into the Inn and smiling from ear to ear he laughed once more.

Now here I be alone in the woods for many days with only me charming voice to hear in me wee head.
When all of a sudden I comes to’s a Inn that lays in the woods for all the Elvin people to play.Tis good for me I say!
For who can know when yer luck will change?

Dancing about dodging one large flatfooted patron after another the sweet Leprechaun hops onto the desk of the Elvin Inn Keeper.
With a bow and sly smile he winks the lovely woman

“Thou’est most kind if ye allows me the luckiest Leprechaun of all!..... to stay in thy humble home this night for I seeks yer best room thy eyes have ever seen.

Reaching into his pocket for coin he pulls out nothing more than handfull of lint.
Ha perhaps thy second best room will do!

With a slight blush he then reaches just as quickly into his other pocket pulling out his pet cricket chirping away.
Shrugging with more than a little embarrassment he stammers

Well then!
How’s about’s a bread box for laying me weary head and perhaps ye may spare the bread crumbs to go with it .... for nothing more than a song and a dance?

Smiling at the Inn Keeper he rubs the head of the chirping Cricket who to anyones surprise seems to smile as well.

As the light of the arriving inn lit up the forest, reptilian eyes awoke.

He was weary, as he should be considering the length of his travels. Long had it been since he had left Silverymoon, long had it been that he had left Toril all together. And he was weary from it all. And he had been lost in this forest for some time, only adding to his tiredness.

He had long hidden his gear away, moving au natural through the forest, to keep the weariness away, but now he saw that he would again need his things. Taking from around his neck his only adornment, a small treasure chest on a chain, he sat, his tail out of the way.

Both his large clawed hands held the ornament, as he chanted in a language full of hisses, clicks, and growls. As he finished, he threw the chest to the ground, as it expanded to the height of a halfling. It was hard to tell in the darkness, but it was a blue chest, covered in platinum designs, the symbol of Bahamut standing out most.

It clicked open as he tapped the lock, the top swinging back. Though to a human's eye it would be impossible to see into the dark box, his keen eyes easily reveal the contents, though only in the black/white spectrum of darkvision.

He stood upright for the first time in weeks, coming off all fours, before bending over again to pull out several objects obscured by the darkness of the trees and dusk. One, bigger than the rest, clinked a great deal, made of metal it seemed. One was much smaller, and twinkled even in the darkness. The rest made no noise, and were essentially invisible.

Time passed slowly as the larger object was placed upon him, piece by piece, before the smaller, twinkling one, a necklace of some kind, was draped over his head and neck. The other objects were likewise placed, before he grunted something in the reptilian tongue, as the box closed, shrunk, and leapt into his palm.

Again he dropped to all fours, as he ran forward like a streak in the darkness. Soon he entered the halo of light formed by the lovely in, and it was then he stopped, kicking up a cloud of dust familiar to the half-dragons arrival.

Now in the light, he was clearly seen. Standing just short of eight feet, and just taller than it at the tip of his well polished, double pointed horn, Drazar the Blue, was positively aglow in the warm light of the inn's yard. His armor, seemingly made of the platinum for which his patron was named, shone in the light, the symbols of Bahamut, and the magical sigils of protection and warding a like. His paws/claws/hands were sheathed in gauntlets that blended right in with his armor. They seemed to sharpen his claws even more. The sapphire that the central symbol of Bahamut surrounded also twinkled, and sparked slightly, with hidden electric might.

As did his scales. Despite the long weeks alone in the wilderness, Drazar's sapphire scales sparkled and sparked, small lightning bolts playing down them. Each also seemed to glow, with the inner power of the half blue.

He smiled, revealing his long sharp teeth. His smile was warm though, the traveling cleric happy to have found a shelter, no matter how temporary. He walked, his bare feet moving smoothly over the grass as he entered the front hallway. He bent slightly as he entered the common room, before looking for the hostess. Seeing Jasmine, he made her way over to her, his feet making a thud as they landed on the wood.

"My lady" Drazar said in his warm, tenor voice. "May I ask what I can get at this fine inn?" Something in his voice crackled, like the lightning of his birthright, as it flashed in his green, reptilian eyes.

The walls are painted with mostly festive hues of gold, reds, bronze, and orange flecked murals of life like quality, each portraying scenes of the autumn season. The warm tones of colors have a subtle silkscreen sheen that shimmers in the soft golden radiance of oil lamp lighting creating a cozy ambience within the rooms. Just inside The Lounge can be seen redwood tables draped in silken forest green tablecloths set with sparkling silver and glass. There is a small crowd putting on their coats while leaving The Lounge and walking through the Common Room as Drazar enters the corridors of the inn.
Glasses and silverware lightly clink together in the background as a busboy clears a table in the Dining Room, which looks more like a tiny diner. Willa returns from The Lounge and sits behind the bar gathering her tips together and counting the money while twirling her fingers in the curls of her raven hair. Rita descends the crystalline spiral staircase to take her place behind the bar. The tall human redhead with emerald eyes slips behind the bar and stands in front of the mirror smoothing her hair back. She puts on a fresh white lace apron as Angus, the bartender, shakes his head mumbling to himself and wiping down the bar with a clean white bar towel.

The woman with an elvish appearance looks up from her paperwork and greets the wee Leprechaun with a kindly smile as she sets a thin stack of paper aside. Jasmine is wearing a shimmering evening gown that appears to to made from soft silvery light that fickers out before touching down upon the freshly polished redwood floor.

"This must be a very special day for as a matter of fact we do have a few fine rooms reserved for our special guests. Not only would it be a pleasure but also an honor if you would consider performing for our humble establishment. Please sign this receipt and I will set up your tab."

The lamplights reflect an orange sheen in Jasmine's large almond shaped vermilion eyes as her attention is soon captured by the arrival of another new guest. She nods to Drazar with a pleasant smile then turns a pad of paper around to first face the Leprechaun gentleman.

"Would either of you care for a seat at the bar or perhaps a hot meal? When you are ready to retire for the evening Adolfo will show you to your rooms."

Jasmine speaks to the guests whilst glancing knowingly to the elvish Head Attendant. Aldolfo returns with a slight nod, his lids lower, pupils expanding into dark pools set in his crystalline blue irises as he produces a slight smile.

With a twirl of his hat over his head then spinning about to catch it the wee Fay giggles with glee.
“Tis most kind O’ tall Elvin angel of the treetops to offer me thy place to lay me weary fidel and head.

Glancing at the book he grins from ear to ear as he takes out his wee little quill from his well worn vest and draws his name with a four-leaf clover symbol into one intricate colorful design
Then glimpsing up at the lovely proprietor maiden he happily speaks to her once more.
Now ye now knows I be Lucky the Luckiest Leprechaun of all!

Gigeling as he speaks
Even thou own eyes can see by yer book reading it to be true of me!

Turning to look at the dragoness fellow Lucky winks then slyly returns his emerald eyes to the maiden of the Inn
For as ye can see yer luck is changing with one tall blue scaly creature about ......perhaps for better or worse I do not knows.
Yet by me being here in thy now lucky Inn others have now joined us for a fun time to night!
Yet me tall lass I must say tis me tiny legs shall needs to rest before playings me fidel tonight; so if thy heart would once more be so kind as to ask thy friend Aldolfo to carry me to yer room

Then laughing he added
Or if thou will not share yer soft romantic bed tonight I shall take another for me

The half dragon ignored the comments of the leprechaun, seeing it as little more than an annoyance. He bowed slightly to the hostess, with a muttered thanks to her. He quickly glanced over the terms of the tab, before signing it with a lightning like script. Flipping a gold coin stamped with the symbol of Bahamut to Aldofo, Drazar walked towards the bar. Tapping the gem at the center of his cuirass, the half-blue sat as the armor folded in towards the gem, as simple black clothing covered him instead. As the metal finished disappearing, the gem dropped into Drazar's open hand, which brought it to drop into the leather purse on his side.

He glanced up and down the bar, and made eye contact with the bartender and the human female of fiery locks. As his hand came to the counter, a platinum piece fell to the marble. Sliding one claw around it, he glanced up to the menu of drinks. Flicking the coin carelessly down to the bartender, Drazar smiled toothily, but warmly.

"The Morimatra please," he requested lazily, "A full tankard of it, actually." He sat silent for a moment, a single black claw on his lips. "And a bowl of water, please, as well. Thank you."

Fine tuned dragon ears pick up the off color remark of the green fey. A spark passes down the cleric's body in annoyance. Pig, Drazar thought, fairy or no.

~The Bar~
A short, stocky man with a long red hair and beard turns around from behind the bar as if he would face even death fearlessly in the eyes. He furrows his brow, cocking his head clearly in confusion. His hands rest on his hips with the bartowel hanging at his side.

"Whit's that y' say now? "

The barmaid leans in close to the barkeep's ear and repetes the order a bit louder so that he may hear. The dwarven barkeep pours a healthy amount of Morimatra into a large drinking vessel with a handle to nearly overflowing and sets it infront of Drazar then abruptly turns back, shoving the double doors to the storeroom open and disappearing for several minutes. There is alot of foul expressioned tone and insults spoken in the dwarven language apparently geared toward some of the workers as the barkeep diligently seaches through the storeroom to stock up on his supplies for the bar.
The human barmaid moves forward from behind the counter with a smile.

"My name is Rita, I'll will be your barmaid for this evening. Just let me know if I can get anything else for you tonight, Sir."

Rita then takes a bowl from the shelf and pours spring water into it from a rather large water skin behind the counter. She sets it before Drazar and nods.

~The Front Desk~
For only a very brief moment one might see a strange and wilder look to Jasmine's countenance.

"Lucky, you are indeed quite the charmer and there is no doubt that luck has smiled upon us all this fine eve. Sadly I cannot join you for it is most imperritive that I stand watch for the inn and have ready my report for my superiors whenever they shall arrive. But do take pleasure in the comforts of one of our fine rooms for it truly saddens me to think such a valuable gift of music from your fidel to its hearers would be utterly lost in lieu of afflictions. It is my hope that you rest well for without such expressions from the heart how could one stir the souls of men?"

The innkeeper with the elvish appearance returns to her work and nods reassurringly to the Head Attendant, confidently leaving him to care for Lucky's needs.

Aldolfo carries Lucky across the Common Room and up the spiral staircase. The sparkling crystal walls are smooth and rounded. There are all kinds of people dressed in silken finery smiling, talking, and laughing. The joyful sound of laughter echos out everywhere. In fact the whole scene looks to be like one big neverending party. As the two of them travel the staircase seems to move them up the spiral without Aldolfo having to move his feet. Lucky can see large glass windows set in gold trim and bouquets of red, gold, and blue flowers hanging along the walls. The heads of the flowers seem to smile and turn to follow them, waving their leaves like little arms as the elvish attendant and Leprechaun pass by.
Once they arrive to his room the round door opens by itself. The room is entirely painted and decorated in forest motif. There is a large round bed with a finely polished redwood headboard. Special flowers of white clover that smell remanescente of honey adorning the walls. Aldolfo explains that the key is actually a Glyph of Warding to keep Lucky and his room safe. The elvish male attendant bows and departs for the staircase.

A kitchen attendant brings Jasmine a cup of cammomile tea with honey and a slice of lemon. The elvish woman stands at the front desk drinking from the steaming tea cup, her eyes looking over several pages of elvish script. Another elf walks up to the desk to collect her wages from the previous evening's performance and upon recieving her money she readily takes her leave.

Winking as he is carried away by Aldolfo the wee leprechaun relaxes as the Fay takes in the view.

The heads of the flowers seem to smile and turn to follow them, waving their leaves like little arms as the elvish attendant and Leprechaun pass by.!

Well now’s me pretty flowers perhaps ye shall dance with me this eve

Once to the room Lucky patted Aldolfo ear
Me thanks O’ tall one may ye sing and dance yer heart away to yer secret love the Elvin lass Jasmine.

The dragon cleric bowed his head gratefully as he rumbled, "Thank you, Rita.".

He sat back then, taking a look at the water and the metal tankard, before taking a hand up to stroke his large black horn, crackling with static eletricity. Seeming to pull the sparks away from it with his scaly paw, the half-blue brought it down between his hands, next to the tankard of Morimatra. "Ulhar darastrix sthyr," he chants as he widens the space in his hand to create a web of lightning, which he passes over the tankard. "Vaecaesin orkathel vaeri Drazar." He closed his large hands around the tankard, as sparks played through the liquid, and he brought it up to his lips, and chugged the entire container down. The lightning over his body pulled in, now unseen, flickering brighter in his eyes. He reached down then, with one claw, and tapped the surface of the water. Nothing happened, and the dragon smiled. He bent his head, and drank the bowl empty.

~Lucky's Room~

At the Leprechaun's mention of Jasmine, Aldolfo freezes mid step, holding onto the brass door handle. A small bead of sweat rolls along the side of his head as the elvish man blushes while shutting the small round redwood door. As he hurries along the hallway the flowers turn to look at each other, covering their centers with their leaves and giggling harmoniously amongst themselves.
A dwarven washerwoman pushing a large wooden cart of fresh towels and linen nods to Aldolfo in passing him by the staicase. She ambles along the hallway to stop by Lucky's room and knocks at the door.

"Housekeeping!"

The dwarven housekeeper stands outside the door holding a card key that is fastened to a silver necklace. She furrows her thick wooly, rust colored brow.

"You need any towels?"

~The Bar~

Rita smiles and begins to prepare a tray of drinks for the Lounge. Suddenly a brief wave of fear ripples over the barmaid as she witnesses the display of lightning and hears Drazar's. strange chants. Rita slips back away behind the bar spilling a few glasses of house wine. Angus abruptly enters through the storeroom doors carrying a large barrel under each arm and sets them on the floor underneath the bar. He looks disapprovingly over his shoulder to the barmaid who is now hiding behind him. He shakes his hairy red head, mumbling under his breath as he looks to the broken glass and spilled wine on the floor.

Eh, Baachle. Wits all the baffle me blate bonny girl? Clear up this mishanter an' git ye back to yer work now."

The brightly blushing Rita takes up a broom and dust pan to clean up the mess and drops an old rag to cover the spill as she dumps the shards of glass into the waste bin.

She nods to the dwarf and carries the heavy tray over her arms to an awfully unattractive elderly gentleman across the bar. He smiles a hearty black-toothed grin as Rita brings the tray to his table. Two little dwarven girls burst through the front doors of the inn, their voices bubbling with peels of girlish laughter. They are wearing raincoats and boots wet from a slight drizzle of rain. Angus furrows his brow and fusses while chasing them out the store room doors with a broom.

"Dinna you bring yer glaury buits in the hoose!"

Rita makes her rounds and collects the empty glasses along the bar before returning to Drazar's section of the bar.

He says sitting up smiling from ear to ear gigleing as he does

The dwarven woman thoughtfully plays with the card key that dangles from her neck and replies to Lucky withot batting an eye, though a slight smile struggles to find it's way along the curve of her lipline.

Aye, maybe if I were an hundred years younger but for now I must keep my brains an' my eyes on my work or Lady Jasmine would have to find herself a new housekeeper!

She giggles under her breath as she backs up to the door, her pudgy fingers still playing with the card key.

"Now before I depart kind Sir, shall I have room service bring you up a bite to eat or maybe a wake up call?"

A cone of fine silvery, glittering mist swirls into the shape of a woman at the end of the bar. She straightens a wreath of oak leaves that encircles her temples and smoothes out her fine linen robe of brilliant turquoise over her legs. The woodnymph then removes a harp from her shoulder and sets it on the bar as she smiles to the dwarven bartender. Her voice is as soft as the rustle of leaves in the autumn breeze.

"I'll have a glass of your finest Elverquisst, please."

~The Bar~
Angus, a short, stocky dwarven man with a long red hair and beard turns around from behind the bar to face the charming voice behind him. He furrows his brow, cocking his head clearly in confusion.

"Whit's that y' say now? "

Rita, the barmaid, leans in close to the barkeep's ear and repetes the order a bit louder so that he may hear. The dwarven barkeep readily nods, pours a healthy glass of Elverquisst to nearly overflowing, and sets it in front of the nymph with a chuckle and bashful boyish grin.

~The Lounge~
Lady Jasmine retires to the Lounge and thoughtfully sips a glass of fresh springwater while gazing out through the glass doors upon the glittering stars of the night sky. The Lounge is silent save the clinking together of glass and silver as the busboy clears the tables. A waitress walks by, changing the tableclothes from deep forest green to bright goldenrod. The images like tapestries that are painted on the walls change scenes in the twinkling of an eye to different autumn motifs.
Aldolfo, the head attendant, walks over to Jasmine's table carrying a steaming cup of cammomile tea with a hint of mint. As the elvish man sets the cup before her, the robust aroma of the drink awakens her senses and enlivens her thoughts. She nods respectively to the head attendant and sips the brew. Jasmine sees a falling star pass by and makes a wish.

Batting his emerald eyes in false innocents Lucky just shakes his head
“Nay me plump beauty I shall rest this night thinking of yer frilly whiskers about thy chin
And with that he lay down and closed his eyes slowly snoring ever so lightly

"It sounds like you must have some exciting adventures, dealing with fierce and dangerous monsters and the fantastic stories you could probably tell!"

Rita smiles as she wipes down the bar with a clean white cloth.

Drazar smiled softly, almost self deprecating from the look on his long face. "A few, I suppose." He focused inward for a moment before looking up to the young woman as she returned from the dwarf's ear. "I don't know if there are any that would interest you though. Such a lovely girl wouldn't be interested in the adventures of this weary half-dragon, would she?" His smile was inviting, despite the razor sharp teeth.

Rita blushes, then with a sly shift of her eyes she grins and answers,
"Father says stories are like drawings. You can see poetic places and
tragic characters. As you listen you discover how they got where they are and wonder to where they are heading."

~Lucky's Room~

The dwarven woman walks away, pushing a cart with a spring in her step and a smile on her face. People pass by through the halls giggling and laughing as they meet their individual destinations. A dove touches down on the inside of the outer rounded window sil. He peeks through the glass, turning his head from side to side, and blinking his dark brown eyes.

Slumbering peacefully dreaming of adventures long gone by the wee little Leprechaun turned over in the large bed
His emerald eyes momentarily opening as he snuggled with the warm blanket smiling as he did
Yet in only a few seconds Lucky smile slowly faded
In pure fear the adorable Leprechaun began to scream

Hhhhhheeeeellllpppppppssss!
Tis a Peeping Tom!
I nots no why ye call him Toms
But I see ones I tells ya!
Heeelllllpppppeeessssss!

Jumping up nearly a foot of the bed Lucky began to pull on the long cord that rang a bell for the inns staff

Tis looking at me with its big bulbes eyes

Lucky continued to yell for help as the giant vulture like pigeon looked through the window
