Leenaria The Pixie 03-10-04, 07:56 PM	(This is open to all who wish to join though its continued from "No Way Down..." Also, feel free to add your own NPC's or things into your posts. You don't have to always wait for me to bring them in or whatever... just thought I would make that clear. ;) ) Footsteps echo through the woods, heavy breathing resounding through the trees. Weapons clanging against metal though if one looked around they would not see anything. It almost sounds as if it is coming from behind yet also all around. Cerrinity finally drops to the ground drunk, her eyes looking all around her listening to the metal clanging against metal. Slowly she backs up into a tree and sits there waiting for the things or beings to show themselves. Her dress blows softly around her while her hair whips at her shoulders.
Darkskies 03-11-04, 08:04 PM	Darkskies wonders through the woods his sword drawn and his silver hawk leading him. The hawk seems to be able to tell were the sounds that have suddenly begain acurring to sound. With a angered look and continues his search. "Now how am I suppose to guard her if she keeps running off again and again and getting into more trouble then a curious Halfing on Festival day." With a heavy sigh and a shake of the head, he pushes forward.
Dragon Master 03-11-04, 09:16 PM	Dragon Master looks around, curious at the new sound of the metallic foot steps. He looks around, his axe glowing in his hand as he struggles to see in the forest for any coming threat. He continues through the forest, still with no idea where he is going or what he is doing
Leenaria The Pixie 03-12-04, 12:13 AM	As Darkskies walks along he hears footsteps start growing dangerously close to him though all he can sense is wind around him. Though if he looked at the ground he would see foot prints sinking into the earth. While Dragon wanders around he sees prints that seem not so heavily imprinted giving the impression of someone not very heavy and the prints are small indicating it was a woman who had walked in that direction. Cerrinity continues to look around though shaking off the spinning around her. A figure appears in front of her and she blinks a bit, "W..wha who are you?" Her words slurred by the alcohol. The man grins, which was the same that Kami made the wish to, "Don't you remember fair lady? We met before.. oh wait.. you were out due to the spell you put on yourself." She looks at him oddly, "Ummmm, o.. okay." Cerrinity continues to stare at him. The man grins still, "Make a wish and you'll make me happy." Cerrinity nods and shrugs as her mind was not able to discern the problems that could arise from the situation, "Alright... make me sleep better. Give me something that will help me get my rest and someone who can share my problems with, especially the one major problem right now." She winks at him, "I think you know what I mean." The man nods, "Your wish is granted m'lady!" He disappears into a ball of smoke.
aravilar_holistacia 03-12-04, 12:31 AM	It was never the spinning, nor the sickness of travel that annoyed the mage, it was never knowing where he would end up when he was pulled away from whatever he was doing. Of course, even that was not entirely accurate, because Aravilar Holistacia had never been taken away from his duties in Evermeet so quickly in his life. Through the void of space the mage flew... and he landed quite harshly on the ground. "Uh..." Aravilar said, rubbing his temples. "Where... am I?" His eyes rolled over in his head, and they came to rest on the face of a princess... "Cerrin... Cerrinity," Aravilar said, before falling back, his head slamming against the ground again.
Leenaria The Pixie 03-12-04, 12:36 AM	Cerrinity looks to Aravilar, the smell of alcohol quite strong around her and she looked at him though he looked like she was spinning. Slowly she crawled close to him, "Why did that man send you here?" Her words still slurring and running together while she tries to keep from losing what was in her stomach. She kneels beside him and looks at him, not sure what to do as her mind is racing full of unintelligble thoughts.
aravilar_holistacia 03-12-04, 12:49 AM	The mage opened his eyes slowly, then blinked in rapid succession. "What in the Hells... am I doing here?" he said, sitting upright. He turned his head slowly towards Cerrinity and merely stared for a few seconds. "Wha.... Alcohol... Princess, you are absolutely drenched in the drink! What in Mystra's name..." he trailed off, and he attempted to stand. He failed miserably. The mage fell down abruptly, landing back on the dirt. "There was a flash... and then a portal opened... I was sucked in... and a voice said something like '...especially the one major problem right now,'" Aravilar said pointedly, his head about to explode with the pain. "And then I was here..." he said, looking around.
Leenaria The Pixie 03-12-04, 12:54 AM	Cerrinity looks at him, "Well Aravilar I'd never thought we meet again! How nice to see you again!" She grins at him, the words becoming harder to form for her. "Some man granted my wish I think..." She shrugs a little then looks around then back down at him, "You okay?"
aravilar_holistacia 03-12-04, 12:56 AM	"I'm..." Aravilar said, looking around again. "Wish? What wish?" Aravilar said, shaking his head, as if to clear it of all pain. That didn't work, of course. "You made a wish?" he asked again.
Dragon Master 03-12-04, 06:53 AM	Dragon Master looks down at the prints curiously... he studies them for a moment "Bah! I could be following a deer for all I know, I'm no tracker..." He shakes his head, but follows the path as best he can with the mere light of his battleaxe and his poor ability to track ((Aravilar, I'm assuming this character is the same Aravilar the party met in the last thread... twice...? And I ask simply for character development))
Leenaria The Pixie 03-12-04, 09:28 AM	She clears her throat a little, "Yeah.. some guy wanted me to make a wish and I did... and here you are..." While Dragon follows the tracks he can see that they tend to ocassionally stray from a straight line like the being was having trouble making a straight path.

Darkskies 03-12-04, 11:14 PM	Darkskies eyes the tracks that begin to appear before him and a sudden chill runs down his spin. "I know I am going to hate myself for taking this job now." Darkskies glances up toward his hawk that continues to lead him, though he make sure he stays a good distance away from the tracks so what ever did make them doesn't see him coming up on them. "Now Cerrinity why the hell did you run off, the last tiem I saw you you were drinking, and knowing women I bet you are as drunk as a damn gully dwarf."
Dragon Master 03-13-04, 03:08 AM	Dragon Master turns when he sees Kami, and draws his axe, ready to strike. When he sees who it is he seems to take a little longer then normal to decide wether he should bring his axe down or not. In the end however he puts his axe to his side and turns around, and keeps walking. As he talks his mind seems to be elsewhere...either that or he is attempting to ignore Kami "No clue. I just got this weird vision... don't know where Cerrinity is but judging from the vision shes in trouble"

Leenaria The Pixie 03-13-04, 05:25 PM	Dragon follows the track straight to where Aravilar and Cerrinity. Cerrinity looks up at Dragon when he draws near and gives him an odd smile. She then turns back to Aravilar, "Well I asked him to give me something that would help me rest and someone to share my problems with, especially the main one, you know what I mean." She stands up a bit shakily and curtsies or tries just before she falls down on the ground. "Well, I tried." She starts laughing and the strong air of alcohol still blowing around her.

As the man named Dragon approached, Aravilar stood abruptly, a hand on his moonblade but not yet pulling the flaming steel. "Well met, lord Dragon, although perhaps in the strangest of circumstances I am returned to you this night." Aravilar extended a hand to the Princess to help her back up. "Fate, it seems..." Leenaria The Pixie 03-13-04, 05:58 PM	She grips tightly to his hand while standing up, though she has to lean on him to keep from falling down in a drunken stupor. "I am getting quite a headache.."

Darkskies 03-13-04, 06:16 PM	Darkksies hopes he is getting close to the creators of the tracks that he is following. Boardom seems to be taking ahold of him as he is still wondering through the woods with no clue of where he is going. He looks up to his hawk. "You better not be leading me to nothing or you are goin to get it when we stop and you land." The silver hawk seems to give little thought to the threat and continues to fly onward. "Stubbern winged fool."

Kami no Kenshin 03-13-04, 06:33 PM	He stands in the woods at the edge of the clearing his back against a tree, figuring that Cerrenity doesn't much want to see him at the moment. He looks around, casting his eyes into the gloom of the forset and looking for the strange presence he has been sensing. His hands are tense on his blades, which are held raised and at the ready. "Whomever is there, why don't you come out and show yourself?" He whispers.
Darkskies 03-13-04, 06:33 PM	Darkskies sighs and thinks this is taking to long and desides to yell. YELLING"Cerrinity, where the hell are you?" Stops yelling,"I am starting to get tired of walking and I know that she didn't make these tracks maybe I should head back to the tavern?" Darkskies stops and leans on a tree motioning for his hawk to stop and land as well.

Leenaria The Pixie 03-13-04, 06:37 PM	The beings Kami was talking to obviously weren't there or decided not to make a move toward him anymore. Though every once in awhile the sound of feet crunching on leaves could be heard around him. Cerrinity hearing Darkskies looks up and then looks to Dragon and Ava. She yells back, "OVER HERE DARKSKIES!!!"
Darkskies 03-13-04, 06:41 PM	With a sigh of releaf Darkskies pushes off of the treehis hawk taking purch on his shoulder as he makes hsi way to the voice. "Not sure if this is her, but at lest it is someone." Darkskies pushes through the brush and vines in his way noticing the tracks lead the same way the cut off before he made it to the clearing where the others are. Noticing a new figure that wasn't Kami or Dragon standing by Cerrinity he draws his dagger in his hand so that both his dagger and long sword were in hand. Speaks toward Aravilar, "Who the hell are you? Speak or get your neck slit."
aravilar_holistacia 03-13-04, 06:46 PM	Aravilar calmly said, "I am Grand Court Mage Aravilar Holistacia of the Elves and a friend to the Princess Cerrinity. I mean no harm; it seems fate has brought me back to this party." Aravilar looked down at the sleeping girl on his shoulder, and the archmage sat crosslegged on the ground.
Darkskies 03-13-04, 06:50 PM	A confused look comes across his face as he looks over at Dragon and then barely noticing Kami in the woods before looking back to Aravilar. "O..K..A..Y..?" His hawk takes flight off of his shoulder and purches on a tree leam above Cerrinity and Aravilar. "Then it was you that made the track I was following then?" ((how odd to ask that since you fell from the sky.))
Kami no Kenshin 03-13-04, 06:50 PM	He reacts to the sound of the feet crunching in the forest leaves, tracking it with his ears and attempting to determine the source. "Whomever you are, show yourself." He calls out toward the person making the sound.
Leenaria The Pixie 03-13-04, 06:52 PM	Cerrinity looks to the others before she had passed out on Aravilar. A voice echos out to Kami, "What? You are intruding upon our land! We insist you get off before something happens!"
aravilar_holistacia 03-13-04, 06:53 PM	Aravilar chuckled softly. "I could not have made tracks; I appreared here, apparently by the wish of the Lady Princess," he explained.
Kami no Kenshin 03-13-04, 06:54 PM	"Who's land? Who lays claim to it? I should warn you that I'll hedge no interferance. If you attack me, I will fight to kill."
Dragon Master 03-13-04, 08:26 PM	When Dragon Master sees Aravilar he looks rather annoyed "Oh... the mage that waves magic around like it grows on trees..." . o O(Perfect... with any luck he'll be able to keep the attention away from the fact that my magic doesn't work any more...) Dragon Master however doesn't forget his manners, and shakes hands with the man. During the conversation, he seems to have an uneasy look on his face... like he either doesn't want to be here, or he wants to be alone. When the sound of voices from the forest are heard, Dragon Master looks to Kami. "Wait Kami... let me handle this... this may indeed be there land." Dragon Master turns and yells out into the forest "We're only passing through, we mean no harm to you and intend to leave as soon as possible. We became somewhat lost and we do appologise if we have intruded upon your land" Dragon Master looks to Kami, then to the others "Best we get out of here as soon as possible. I recommend you put your weapons by your side. Last thing we want is to fight with people who are probably all too familiar with this place. They could probably pick us off like flies if they wanted to."
Leenaria The Pixie 03-13-04, 11:43 PM	The being looks at Kami with a grim face then looks toward the voice of Dragon, "You have five minutes to leave our land or else all of you shall not see another sunrise!"
Kami no Kenshin 03-13-04, 11:51 PM	He takes a deep breath, then lowers his weapons slightly. He looks at the creature levelly and speaks in a calm voice, By what right do you claim this land? I saw no signs that this land was owned by anyone, therefore you have no legitimate right to threaten us. I warn you, if you attack us we WILL defend ourselves.
Leenaria The Pixie 03-13-04, 11:53 PM	The voice bellows out again, "I warn you, you have five minutes to leave my land or me and my people will attack freely on you!"
Kami no Kenshin 03-14-04, 12:02 AM	He raises his weapons again, "Then make your attack, but be warned that the blood of your dead shall rest on YOUR head fool! We see no evidence that this land belongs to you, nor did we see any signs indicating these lands belonged to anyone. We do not mean any harm,, but we will NOT be threatened, nor intimidated. We WILL defend ourselves, and kill your people if we must. We would rather be left in peace, but we will not stand for your threats."
Dragon Master 03-14-04, 02:51 AM	Dragon Master rolls his eyes, and looks over at Kami "You may wish to attempt to attack a race of forest dwelling people, but I do not. I am a diplomat, and there is no reason for us to attack these people. Yes, we might be able to kill them all. Yes, they have no right to tell us to leave. It may or may not be there land, it doesn't matter. We have no desire to be here, just do what they say and leave you fool, or is your pride that important to you that if someone asks you to leave a forest you have to threaten them?" Dragon Master sighs and looks to Aravilar "I suggest if you have a dimension door spell or a teleport spell prepared you use it. Quickly. I've already got demon blood on my hands, I wish not for human blood."
Kami no Kenshin 03-14-04, 03:49 AM	Dragon Master looks to Kami and frowns. He draws his fists back and delivers a parlysing 'freezing the life blood' punch towards Kami to attempt to shut him up. If he hits or not, or if Kami resists his paralysing strike, he responds with: ((OOC: Might help if we read what is posted: )) He stands in the woods at the edge of the clearing his back against a tree figuring that Cerrenity doesn't much want to see him at the moment ((I'm not actually IN the clearing, but rather standing about ten feet away just inside the woods. Unless you've figured out some sort ot telekinetic punch power you're not mentioning, or are running into the woods to do this, it's kinda tricky....)) "I don't care to attack anyone. "I would agree with you Kami- if i were planning to build a village here. As it is all we're trying to do is pass through, am I correct? If you wish to condem this group to death Kami, so be it but i'll not hang around for it to happen" Dragon Master turns and makes his way back in the opposite direction towards the village, his flamming axe at his side purely for lighting purposes.

Dragon Master 03-14-04, 06:21 PM	Dragon Master looks back to Aravilar "Just get us out of here before someone shoots an arrow at us, I don't care were to. Preferably back to the town- but I guess you haven't been there so it would be hard for you to teleport us there." He casts a look over to Cerrinity "Unless, of coarse, her majesty would wish to take Kami's idea instead and go kill everyone."
aravilar_holistacia 03-14-04, 08:12 PM	Aravilar gently laid the Princess down onto a patch of soft moss. "Well, if we are going, let us depart... I can only bring us a bit away from here... unless of course one of you can give me a really really really good description of the place you wish to go..." Aravilar explained, holding his fingers up in a strange shape. Aravilar's hands moved in a quick gesture and he whispered softly... and a rapidly expanding hole in space appeared several feet away from the mage. "Kenshin-sama, if you are coming along, let us depart... I cannot keep this portal open forever..." Aravilar noted, and he gestured to Dragon. "Let us away!" The mage gently picked up the unconscious princess and stepped a foot through the hole in space. "Are you coming, Lord Dragon?" Aravilar said, before walking slowly through the rip in the air.

Kami no Kenshin 03-14-04, 09:11 PM	He backs toward the portal, looking around for signs of pursuit before stepping through. As he passes the threshold and appears on the other side, he returns his blades to thier sheathes, and turns an irate glare on D_M for a moment before looking away and scanning the area they are now in for any signs of hostile individuals.
Leenaria The Pixie 03-14-04, 09:16 PM	More noises of metal clanging against metal could be heard starting to surround the area. "We urge you to leave the area now or regret stepping onto this land!" Cerrinity remains passed out due to excessive drinking, her body smelling strongly of alcohol.

Leenaria The Pixie 03-14-04, 09:22 PM	The group seems to be standing outside a pond that a waterfall runs down into, the air smelling like fresh rain and the ground soft as though it had just rained. The tree tops slightly swaying in the breeze and the animals barely making noise beneath the stary sky.

Dragon Master 03-14-04, 10:21 PM	Dragon Master takes a seat near a rock, and keeps quiet to himself. He glances down at his chest, and quickly covers his cloak over where his tattoo once was

The mage lay her back down on the ground and looked around. "Now that we have a bit of time, I'd like to ask you a few questions. "First, why was she in the woods alone? "Second, why was she wishing for me? "Third, WHY IS SHE DRENCHED IN ALCOHOL? "And lastly, why are you and Dragon fighting so much?" Aravilar asked Kami these things quickly.
Dragon Master 03-14-04, 10:29 PM	Dragon Master looks to Aravliar "I don't know why shes drenched in alcahol or how she came to be in the woods. I was... letting off a little steam actually in the woods when I got this strange vision of Cerrinity in the forest. Kami then caught up to me and thats when we found you and Cerrinity."
Kami no Kenshin 03-14-04, 10:30 PM	"She was in the woods alone because she chose to be. She asked us to let her be for a while, then wandered off, I have no idea why she wished for you, I would assume she is drenched in alcohol because that is what she was drinking before she wandered off, and we are fighting because evidently HE thinks I am trying to steal her away from him or something. Jealousy, I suppose."
Dragon Master 03-14-04, 10:43 PM	Dragon Master chuckles and then looks to Kami "Look me in the eyes and tell me I am mistaken then. I am not the only one guilty of jealousy here Kami." He sighs, and looks to Aravilar "In any event, I've recently realesed myself of a curse that has requried me to have a firm grasp over my emotions for the past month, least I be inflicted with serious pain and torture of my heart. As such, now that the curse is gone, i'm rather emotional as a months worth of bottled up emotion seems to be flooding out. If I say something insulting, I do appologise now."
Kami no Kenshin 03-14-04, 10:45 PM	He chuckles softly, and turns toward D_M, his eyes burning deeply into D_M's. "You are mistaken."
aravilar_holistacia 03-14-04, 10:45 PM	Aravilar listened to Dragon and Kenshin speak at the same time... and finally he shook his head. "Okay, okay. I see your points. But why this anger towards each other? Jealousy? What is going on?" Aravilar sighed and said, "Look, I had no intention of ever coming back here, but evidently Cerrinity has something she wants to say. When she wakes up, we'll find out."
Leenaria The Pixie 03-14-04, 10:48 PM	Cerrinity suddenly sits up and holds her hand up to all of them, "Shhh!" She then begins to whisper, "Please not so loud!" Her face wrinkles up in either pain or disgust though its hard to tell. With her right hand she begins to rub her temples which are pounding.
Dragon Master 03-14-04, 10:49 PM	Dragon Master looks back to Kami and then nods "Very well Kami, but I will hold you to that." When Cerrinity wakes he looks at her curiously, and then takes a seat (((Edited a bit))

Leenaria The Pixie 03-14-04, 10:56 PM	She looks at all of them and sighs, then smells her dress and sighs. "Well.... for many reasons..." She stands taking her dress off and starts rinsing it in the pond near them.
Kami no Kenshin 03-14-04, 10:57 PM	His chuckle turns into a laugh, and he continues to stare angrily at D_M. "Fool. You treat me like some sort of enemy, when all along I have been pushing her toward YOU. Despite MY OWN feelings, I have done NOTHING in my own interests. I TRIED to take this burden away from here so that YOU could take her home and help her find some hapiness with YOU. If I had SUCCEEDED I would not be here. Do NOT presume to question my motives sir, lest I take offense and cut your impudent little head from your shoulders."
Dragon Master 03-14-04, 11:09 PM	Dragon Master raises an eyebrow "Cut my head from my shoulders? Well, forgive me if I thought wrongly of you then Kami. Obviously I WAS mistaken. Darkskies turns to Araivlar, "I am sorry that you have been brought into such a poor surroundings, since you seem more civil then the other friends of my clients that I have encountered. I hope you will be able to help with what ever Cerrinity has brought you here to do." After taking a deep breath he leans himself against the tree that his hawk is purched on keeping an eye on everyone. I wished that I could just.... make this problem go away so that she could have a chance at being happy. My wish was.... corrupted.... Now I am bound to her fate as she is, a part of it."

The mage had gathered enough firewood, and went back to the clearing. "It was a wish made in good intentions, of course... as you said. But even the most good of wishes can be twisted horribly." Aravilar began to pile the wood inside a ring of rocks. "What about Dragon?" Aravilar asked. "Last I checked, last I can remember, there was not much of a problem... And what of this jealousy bit? Jealous of what?" The mage tried to start a fire with a bit of flint and steel from his belt, but the wet wood seemed to be too soaked. "What has happened in the past few months? I mean... I know I left..." Aravilar trailed off, knowing full well how much hatred was in Kenshin's heart so long ago. "I never did get to apologize for how arrogant and pompous I was, back there. I wanted to let you know how terrible I feel about all that. I'm sorry, Kenshin-sama." Aravilar bent his head down in reverence and humility.

Dragon Master 03-15-04, 06:49 AM	Dragon Master takes some way in the woods. He looks at a small dry leaf on the ground, and flicks his hand at it, attempting to alight it with magic. His attempt fails however, and he sighs, looking up at the sky "What have I done... I appologised... I don't see him as an enemy... do I?" A small wind blew past him, and a chill ran down his spine "Maybe you do see him as an enemy... he loves the one you love... you were right to suspect him" Dragon Master looks up curiously, and shakes his head "Now I am not even protected from my own thoughts..." "Or maybe... maybe he wishes more then to take the one you love. He threatened to kill you... after what? You suspected him... you had a right to. And now he wishes to kill you..." Dragon Master looks up, and then around curiously... "Or perhaps my thoughts are not my own... you're here... aren't you?" In front of Dragon Master a white and green mist materialises in front of him. A gaseous skull looks up at him from the mist and smiles. Dragon Master reaches for his spear, but the skull hisses at him, and then laughs- which sounds more like a high pitched metallic screem then a laugh. "Hahaha! Well, I am right, aren't I? He has taken the one you love away from you" "Quiet!" "He threatens to kill you..." "Enough! I'll not-" "And he is responsible for your powers leaving you... for Bahamut abandoning your side!" Dragon Master's eyes go wide almost with horror. He lunges his spear at the mist, but it merly laughs again "You... know about that?... but it is not Kenshin that is the cause, it is my own sins. I'll not fall for your tricks" "Well, you've already fell for several of them. Curse had a very interesting side effect, didn't it? It was suppose to tell me where you were... but you were in another plane... and not even the curse's magic was that powerful. So as it is, all I can do is... pop in every now and again... but be warned... i'll find where you are... I'll find out how to get there... and I'll kill you while Bahamut has left you... if not... I'll kill the one you love... hmm... actually, thats a better idea." Dragon Master sighs and looks at the skull "Keep her out of it... you want me, fine. Keep her out of it..." The skull smiles and then disapears. Dragon Master shakes his head...
Leenaria The Pixie 03-15-04, 09:06 PM	Cerrinity listens to the others while they speak during her time near the pond washing her dress. She puts it on while its wet as she doesn't have much choice. She looks at them letting her eyes once again linger on each one and she looks down and sighs. Cerrinity makes a gust of wind swirl around her to help her dress dry but instead of wind she gets rain. It seems her thoughts weren't exactly clear while she was trying to cast. Rain pours down on her and the others, quickly she hurries to a tree and tries to take shelter beneath its limbs.

Cerrinity pushes off from the tree using her right hand and then starts to walk away, "Perhaps I should have done this alone... this is my burden to carry and now there are so many who carry it now. Darkskies is the only one who has played it safe... he has not allowed himself to get involved with anyone. He is smart.." She shakes her head and looks upward at the rain still falling (unless someone has dispelled it then she is looking up at the sky.)

The once so confident look in Dragon has turned to what Darkskies takes to be fear, though he doesn't know why. And now with a new arrivel and since he has heard everything that Aravilar and Cerrinity has said because of his hawk purched above them, a deep sigh escapes him. "Another one I must keep an eye on." An surging pain bolts through his arm then subsides. speaks in a hushed tone, "Damn they seem to still have a hand in my pain."

He sighs, and looks down to where his tattoo used to be "I'm sure you're aware that i'm a fully accomplished wizard, and normally i'd be able to plane shift myself... however, i'm not quite sure if you remember, but last time you saw me I had a tattoo of a dragon right here" He points to his chest, where his tattoo used to be "The tattoo was granted to me by Bahamut. I am a follower of him, and have taken a vow to serve him... however... I violated part of that vow when I fell in love with Cerrinity. At first, I thought nothing of it... but now it seems it has caught up with me. Bahamut has stripped me of his blessing, and of my wizard powers. I can no longer cast, and I no longer have an immunity to fire and cold. I have a little training as a monk, but compared to the demons we have faced, it would be suicide for me to face them with my bare hands and my spear. As it is, i'm... useless. And unfortunately I believe I now have an undeath attempting to follow me... if he makes his way here, he will attempt to kill Cerrinity, and I can't let that happen. If I leave, he'll follow me..." He sighs, and looks over to where Cerrinity is, and then back to Aravilar "I need time to think... I need to face my problems that I brought here with me... ones that I shouldn't of brought... don't worry, I have every intention of coming back... I just may be away for a day or two, at the most. I made a promise to Cerrinity, and I intend on keeping it. Once in Juxta, I can find my own way back here without magic if I need to... please..."

Aravilar collapsed, the Dragon Wand tucked safely between his arms... and he hit the ground hard. Epic spells do have a bit of backlash...

There is a loud crashing sound in the bush nearby, sounding as though a large creature is busting throught the forst. After a moment, a horse appears from within the darkened depths of the wodds.... Kenshin looks slightly confused.... "Horse? I thought you'd finally decided to go your own way." The horse snorts derisively at him, and he chuckles softly. He stands up and walks over to the animal, who nods at him. "Let's have a look at you hmm? Lift up the hooves." One at a time, Horse lifts his hooves, and Kenshin carefully clears out anything that he finds there. He then walks around he animal, scanning it carefully for sign of injury. "You seem non the worse for wear. How in all creation did you manage to find me?" The horse snorts again....
Leenaria The Pixie 03-17-04, 09:33 PM	Cerrinity watched as Aravilar and Dragon went off to talk, while they did that she hung her head and then looked around for a spot to sit. She finally decides to sit beneath a tree keeping an eye on Kami and Darkskies. Growing restless she stands up and walks back to the pond. Cerrinity sits down and sticks her feet into the water (she still doesn't have any shoes on they were left at the inn...). She sighs at the touch of the cool water that gently ripples around her, her eyes keeping watch on the water. Her eyes finally look upward at the tree tops and the sky.
Darkskies 03-17-04, 10:52 PM	Darkskies grins slightly as Dragon and Aravilar walk off, thinking he knows what they are up to. With a confused look he stares at the arrival of the horse. "What in blazes is that doing here?" Not meaning to say anything out loud, he shakes his head before looking over at Cerrinity as he sends his hawk off in the direction of the town(since it can fly it should be able to see the town from a high altitude). He then pushes off of the tree and makes his way over to his client. "You should remember to ware your shoes when you go out." After a few minutes his hawk returns with Cerrinity's shoes, droping them beside her before landing on a branch of a near by tree. Then Darkskies himself moves over to the tree and leans aginst it a grin still lengering on his face.

Crosses his arms over his chest and looks over in the direction Araivlar stands alone in the woods. "I don't know how the you and Kami didn't know someone using magic in the woods though. Pretty hard not to hear the slight crackling of magic expecially with no other sounds around us."
Leenaria The Pixie 03-19-04, 10:39 PM	She looks at Darkskies and shrugs a little, "I wasn't paying much attention and having a bit of alcohol in my blood stream doesn't exactly help." She sighs, "I shouldn't have had so much like I did, but oh well, can't undo it now. Anyway, I thought it would be fun to test the guy out anyway and well.. whatever he gets in return for it I suppose I hope it helps him." She half grins at this statement almost like she enjoys the thought.
Kami no Kenshin 03-19-04, 10:39 PM	He continued to care for his horse, carefully brushing the animal now and speaking to it in a strang language. The horse seems to understand perfectly, which is curious since he seems to be carrying on a complete conversation with the horse.

There have been many times when I have spoken to him simply out of the need to stay sane. He has becoms used to the idea of me speaking to him, and when I do not he becomes irate with me. The horse snorts, and if one did not know any better, one would almost swear that he nods in agreement....

Cerrinity lets out a sigh then softly speaks, "We need to find somewhere to set up a camp or something, as I am tired. I will go off and look for berries." She grins at them and changes into a squirrel and scurries off. Cerrinity doesn't bother with waiting for one of them to follow she just hurries off into the area and begins her search for edible food.

Leenaria The Pixie 03-24-04, 07:32 AM	As she neared a bush she stops in front of it and then changes back to her human form. Cerrinity leans over the bush inspecting the berries to see whether they we edible or not. Gently she plucks one from the bush and rolls it around in her palm. A slight smile forms on her face and then she pops it into her mouth. The juice from the berry a bit bitter but it had the taste close to that of a grape with more of a sour taste. She gives a slight cough and then makes a bowl appear from her hiding place on another plane. Using telekinesis she holds the bowl in midair while placing some of the berries into it. When the bowl was full she stepped into the nearest tree and then stepped out of the one near Aravilar, Darkskies, and Kami. As she walks near them she couldn't help but let her mind wander to Dragon, "Where has he wandered off to? I hope he's alright, he's been acting a bit strange lately, then again... we all have been acting out of the ordinary." She frowns to herself and shakes her head softly. She holds the bowl out the three of them, "Anyone want some? They are a bit bitter but they are good." Cerrinity half smiles to them while holding the bowl out waiting for them to take one.

Her voice was strong and almost like there was a good reason as to why she said that. Her lips pursed a bit and her eyes sparkling though within them seem empty or she was just hiding it well. She slid her hand down his arm and into his and she stood at his side letting her head rest on his shoulder.

Cerrinity nods in the direction of the cot close to her (if Ava isn't in it), "Will you rest beside me?" She takes a drink and then lets it float in mid air while she ate some fruit. A little juice runs down her chin but quickly she wipes it away using her hand.

Perhaps I should bring you a napkin.... Kenshin stands up, making his way back over to the ceter of the room and returning with a small stack of linen napkins. Slowly she turns back to Kami, "Do farmers often travel Kami?" Her eyes looking curiously into his.

I didn't take much interest in the farmers activities on my land, so long as they were all healthy, fed and the harvests were met I was happy. I let them do as they wished for the most part, so long as thier duties were performed.

It's protected against visual detection and nearly every form of scrying. You standing outside is going to make it easier for them to find us. Come inside and get some sleep.
Darkskies 03-27-04, 11:00 PM	With a heavy sigh Darkskies reluctenly makes his way into hte shelter taking a seat in the corner but still refraining from sleeping. The lack of sleep seems to have gain a toll on the paculiar Darkskies, but he will be the last one to admit to it. "I hope what you say is right Samuri." He spoke in a hushed tone as to not wake the elf slumbering in his cot.

A faint smile stretches across her face before she then lets her weariness take over. Her mind soon lets loose of all its thoughs and allows dreams to penetrate within her subconscious mind.

He drops off to sleep rather quickly, drifting into the world of dreams.... Kenshin sees himself walking through a village that apears to be on fire. He carries his Katana in his hand, blood dripping from it. He laughs evilly as he walks, the firelight making his eyes seem more evil.... the dream fades. Kenshin pursues someone through a forest, dashing past trees. He has his blade drawn, as he catches up to the one he pursues it is a woman with a smal child. He raises the sword.... Kenshin tosses and turns as he dreams, muttering softly in his sleep in a foreign language....
Leenaria The Pixie 03-28-04, 09:12 PM	Cerrinity's mind plays many dreams that seemed like they were put together like a patch work quilt, though to her they hardly make sense. Hearing a faint voice she stirs a moment looking around to find Kami asleep beside her. Another soft smile crosses her face and then she lets herself slip back into the dreams.

The girl with white-feathered angel wings briefly flashed in his mind... her pale blond hair brushing her collar... and she was gone... Aravilar's eyes fluttered open slowly, before he sat up straight quickly and looked around. "Kenshin-dono, where did--" Aravilar said loudly, before his mismatched eyes trailed across the sleeping Princess and the sleeping samurai. He blinked and whispered, "This is going to be a long night."

She reached up with her right hand and began to rub her eyes, Cerrinity rests them on Aravilar before she glanced to Kami, and finally looking back to Aravilar.

Kami no Kenshin 03-28-04, 09:33 PM	In his sleep, Kenshin's hands move down toward the hilt of his sheathed Katana, which is still tucked into his belt. His fingers curl around the hilt, and he whimpers slightly. Kenshin stands in a field, surrounded by a group of samurai. One of them approaches, asking Kenshin to surrender peacefully. Kenshin draws his sword with lightning speed, cutting the man down. The others charge as Kenshin raises his bloody sword....

Leenaria The Pixie 03-29-04, 10:35 AM	Cerrinity listens to the two and sighs softly to herself. Her sweet brown eyes linger on Aravilar at his last statement then she turns to Kami. Slowly she scoots herself to where she sits on the edge of the cot. "Kami, please just try to rest without dreams, it can be done. Though only for those with a strong mind, I know you have it, deep down I know you do." She reaches out with her right hand and lightly pats his arm. She stands up, walks over to the table, and then sits down in one of the wooden chairs. Cerrinity sits at an angle on the chair to where only her right side faces the table as she tries to sit where she can see everyone.
Darkskies 03-29-04, 11:37 AM	Darkskies glances about and sighs as he draws out two viles of some strange type of liqued. "Kami if you want sleep without dreams take this, it allows one to go into a coma like state for at lest 3 hours. Since it seems the we all get nightmares in sleep now. I use it so that the damn fools that curse me can't enter my thought at night, but I have few left." He toss Kami one of hte viles and and leans against the wall. "Just to tell everyone, if I decide to take this, I will not be able to wake for 3 hours, the same goes for Kami if he takes it as well." With another sigh he stares down at the vile swirling it in his hand .
Kami no Kenshin 03-29-04, 04:04 PM	He catches the vial, and looks at it for a moment before putting it down. No.... thanks. If anything happens I want to be able to react. I just won't sleep, like I usually do. He sits up, tosing off the blankets and putting his feet on the floor...
Leenaria The Pixie 03-29-04, 10:23 PM	Cerrinity looks between Darkskies and Kami while they talk, she narrows her eyes a bit. Standing up she heads over to Kami and sits down beside him. Gently she picks up the vial and rolls it around in her palm. She sets it down beside her though while doing so she takes the top off of it. Half smiling she leans in toward Kami about to kiss him while she brings her hand close to his face. Cerrinity leans in closer and kisses him softly on the lips, then quickly pulls away and forces the vial up to his lips hoping she'd catch him off guard to make him drink it. Cerrinity then leans toward his ear and whispers, "Sorry Kami, I know you need rest and refuse to do anything about it..."
Darkskies 03-29-04, 10:50 PM	Darkskies chuckles at the spectical and lifts his own vile to his lips just sipping from it and not drinking to much. "You know he will be out longer if you do that." With a yawn he leans back. "It might last 5 hours for him unless he has a strong" Yawns in middle of talking, ".. a stronge immunity system." Darkskies then sleeps into a restful sleep, unable to be aweaken by anything.

"She's always been like that though, even when she was alive." The mage was silent for a few minutes before he stood. "S'pose I'm on guard duty." He walked out the door breathlessly and began to walk about, whistling a solemn, haunting melody.

Darkskies would not poison you if that is what you think, trust him and the vial, let it take over your mind and help you rest." She gave him another small kiss, this time on his cheek. Slowly she stood and then followed Aravilar. Upon catching up with him she grabs his arm playfully with a smile, "Where do you think your going?"

Fmal 04-01-04, 08:05 AM	(I'm back ;) ) As the night and hours moves on after Dragon Master had left, and Aravilar heads out for guard watch, not far from where the others are a portal opens in the forest- out of sight from all but the trees and the animals. The portal swirls, and a hot wind moves the leaves and trees around it. A yellow and blue colour swirls in the portal, like that of an endless beach... or a desert with a blank sky. From the portal, a man standing about 5'9 emerges, stumbling over a branch as he exits the portal. He gets up, cursing to himself, and looks back towards the portal frowning, brushing himself off. . o O (Exercise... yeah right... he better not leave me here to guard this 'princess' of his...) Fmal turns and waves his hand, the portal closing. He looks around, an unimpressed look on his face... "Great... a forest..." Fmal rolls his eyes. To anyone looking, he'd not look like anyone spectacular. In fact, he's quite the opposite. His clothes look old, dirtied and in a near rag state, and look almost burned. His leather armour and backpack is the only thing that makes sets him apart from a farmer peasant, and even those are chared on the sides. His hair is blonde, but tipped red at the ends. His skin is a dark, tanned colour, and adds to the look that this man perhaps may have been a farmer at some point working long hours in the hot sun. A red bandana around his head and several daggers in his belt are the only visible signs of accessories this man wares. The only acception to this is the pair of metallic claw like weapons around his waist, which appear to be able to sit on each wrist easily as deadly weapons. Fmal looks around and smiles. . o O(If Dragon Master was right, I guess the first thing they'd do is attempt to shoot me with arrows... or put a sword to my throat... or cast some weird entrapment spell and force me to talk... better just stay out of sight for now) Fmal dives into the bushes gracefully (at least more so then how he exited the portal), and is hidden from sight as he makes his way through the forest, watching silently and quietly EDIT: ((Its Dragon Master btw, just playing a different character for now.))

I had been discussing entering my new character with Cerrinity, and got the go ahead from her, and at the moment he actually hasn't really effected any of the characters at the moment (just a fancy/not so fancy entrance), but if he is the cause of game stop, then I guess something must be done ;) )))

Kami no Kenshin 04-05-04, 04:52 PM	Kenshin's eyes begin to droop against his will as the small amount of liquid that he swallowed starts to do his work. He fights to throw off the effect with littl success. Soon he is passed out on the cot, sleeping soundly.

I will just say a few things about what has happened, let me just say it has to do with me being drunk and talking to a married guy who bought me the drinks and took me to a hotel. I made a call and I am now relocated. I will give you more details later. I am really sorry about all this. Right now I am now sure if this post will be able to continue as I am not anywhere near a computer except once a week, and this thread will die if it is only that much. So... I'm going to have to end it here. I shall make a final post.... let me think ... *rubs temples to get creative juices flowing....* IC: Cerrinity shakes her head at Aravilar's words and looks downward though letting her arm drop that held his arm. Another cough escapes her.. "When shall I tell them my secret? Will it anger them... how will they react? I need to speak now...." Cerrinity grabs Aravilar's arm again and firmly pulls him inside. She pushes him down onto a cot not with a lot of force but enough to knock him down onto it. (If she notices Darkskies sleeping she nudges him awake.) She looks toward Kami, then to Darkskies, and finally letting her eyes rest on Aravilar. Cerrinity now stands so that her back is against a wall for support. "I must speak my mind and tell you something that I have acquired over the passing days. Remember when we were at the castle of ..." she stops knowing it will trigger a bad memory in Kami. "Well, at the castle where we had to come in contact with the army? Before that I had touched a dead body of the captain of the guards. He didn't die naturally, nor by any normal magic. He had a disease, unknown to many." Her eyes lowered. "I have a disease called Oaklen's Disease, its a disease that eats your insides slowly starting with your lungs. If you haven't noticed I am coughing. The disease has already started on me and soon I will run out of air, which judging by my pain it won't be long...." a small raspy cough flows from her lips and her face twists in pain. She clears her throat and looks at them all again, "I want to say thank you for all your time and effort for helping me. I just wish Dragon was here so I could say goodbye." A tear rolls down her cheeks. "Kami and Darkskies, thank you greatly for your protection. Aravilar, thank you for everything in the past and for coming back for me now. I couldn't die knowing I'd leave you without saying goodbye." She walks over to him and hugs him tightly and kisses his cheek. Cerrinity does the same to Kami, though once she nears Darkskies she stops and lightly pats his shoulder. A cough sends her to her knees as she nears the table. Kneeling she clutches her chest and tries to take a slow deep breath but it seems not to help, a trickle of blood runs down the corner of her mouth and she raises her hand to wipe it away. She turns to look at the others and another tear rolls down her cheek, "I'm so sorry I waited this late....." she takes another breath that has a gurgling sound to it. After taking her last breath she falls limp on the floor. She fell onto her stomach, her head turned away from them, one right arm tucked beneath her and the the other arm fell close to her side, her eyes open showing that her soul had left. Now all that could be seen is the empty stare that haunts her brown eyes that once held so much love and care for all those close to her.

This thread has been through a lot (and by this thread I also refer to the old thread... which was the same story line... you know what I mean ;) ), and I'd be more then willing to keep posting, even if it was only once a week. Cerrinity I do hope that you are ok and are taking care of yourself. I don't just post on this thread because I like the story line, I do it because I like the people who play on it... I feel i've made some realy good friends on this thread, and i'd love to keep it going, because i've enjoyed every minute of it for the past two or three months (i've lost count how long this threads been going for). I don't know exactly what you've gone through Cerrinity, but I do hope that you're ok...)))

I don't mind it being once a week either, this was the first thread that I actully thought playing on that I didn't even know any of the other players, and it has helped in the creation of Darkskies (AKA Radion Korit... this thread has helped me think of a name for him) And it was jsut about to hit an up beat.... But if you really want to end it here, thinking that you wouldn't be able to keep up I wont try and change your mind..... Well I hope things get better for you and stay away from alcohol.... it is EEEVVVIIILLL :twitch: ))
