aravilar_holistacia 07-28-04, 02:27 PM	As some of you know, the city of Myth Drannor in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting is a marvel of elven architecture, culture, mystery, magic, and legend. For a while now I've been contemplating starting up a new roleplaying campaign based on that event. For those of you unfamiliar with the Fall, you can download the .pdf file for free at the Wizards' D&D download page, located here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/downloads). The ideas for this are very much in the setup phase right now; I've really only begun to sketch out the details. You'll notice that the .pdf file lists characters in the last few pages; these would make excellent, pre-made characters for you to use, however it is certainly not required. In terms of character level, I would try to keep the levels fairly low, somewhere between 10 and 14. Epic characters are not common, to say the least, in the 2e world. Other than what I've written out here, I'm really still working on the general path of the story and the way the campaign will run. As this is a freeform RP, no stats will be required (although they do help in judging character strength.) And, I should add as a final note, your opinions and comments are quite appreciated. Once the RP starts (probably sometime after the boards upgrade is completed) I'll give more details about whether the game will be open or closed. Thanks, and happy RPing.
