It is raining. It's been an unpleasent day today, a slow day too. Suddenly you hear the hooves of a horse. Squinting you see a mounted hobgoblin. He disembarks from his horse. Here ye friends! My name is ISadara, and I am a cleric of Kord and a demon hunter. I have just heard news that a demon king has commanded a dungeons worth of undead and is planning to invade the city. I am trying to assemble an adventuring team to combat this threat. Will you help me?
Occ: Am I doing this right?

05-21-05, 10:07 PM Marius, dressed in his customary blue robes, nods to the hobgoblin. The rain seems to not touch him, rolling away just away from his cloak. He looks up from his hood, letting the cowl down to look up properly at the mounted warrior. He reveals blue within blue eyes, and hair as golden as the hidden sun.

I will help thee, Isadara. Where is this grand threat to the city?

So your saying the demon wars that w=have been going on for eternity are finnally over? yay! now i can go get some items i stored in the abyss without worrying about becoming a servent sorcerer for some idiotic deamon prince! Solmund said, wearing his normal black robes with brass colored outline. Keeneye rested on his shoulder and his psycrystal was trapped in the hawks beak, kindly asking solmund to wake the bird up so it could get free.

05-25-05, 12:04 AM From out of the rain comes a soft, feminine, smooth accented voice, "The demon wars...? A fight in the demon wars is a lost cause if you ask me!"

From a few yards off walks a small, lithe figure, draped in a midnight black cloak, hooded and slender. She stops short of the gathered fighters, too curious to pass by unoticed.

"You seek utter suicide fighting that war," she remarks rather cruelly.

The rain shifts direction with the bitter wind, darkening her clothes with raindrops.

She nods to Marius, her features still hidden in her deep hood.

"The wretch is a nuisance who won't be a threat until people start taking him seriously. He is free. We want him dead. He's ready for demons, but not a contract. Kill him, would you?"
"I remember a time when all it took to satisfy an extraplanar malefactor were a couple of crystalized souls. Remember those days?"
"Yes, well, we're in a wartime economy."
"True, true. Better get going, here he comes."
The imp vanished back to it's proper plane, and the wizard watched as the hobgoblin called people to fight for him. He didn't really want to sink as low as petty assassination, but his employer was one of the few powerful demons from which he had yet to acquire a protection contract from. Shrugging, he began to walk toward the mounted goblinoid, hoping his rather goudy robe wouldn't draw any noteworthy attention.

05-28-05, 02:56 PM Holding the black diamond in his hand, he looked it over. He had written the goblinoid's name in Illumian, he probably wouldn't recognize it was meant for him specifically. Now, there was just a matter of convincing him to take it, and he would bind him within, body and soul.

It's times like this I wish I practiced lying.

Holding the gem out, he coughed to get the rider's attention. "Although personal matters prevent me from assisting you directly, might I offer you a magic token of my creation? So long as you hold it, you will be able to sense any being of evil that should come after you.

OOC: The gem is the latter form of Trap the Soul, meant for the hobgoblin. Keep that in mind in upcoming posts, but try to avoid metagaming.

05-28-05, 04:33 PM The hooded woman watches as the gem is passed to the rider, her eyes searching its hidden purposes although she can't quite tell what it does. She smirks to herself, the smile of white teeth hidden to everyone and announces, "Then, my friends, I shall follow along, yet I cannot aid any of you. I am much past my fighting years.. heh..."

She stifles the suspicious giggle, and straightens up, the outline of her lithe form becoming somewhat darker.

"Ready?"

I'm just trying to give him what help I can while I fight the foe on their own field of battle." As Marius reachs for the gem, Sidi flicks his wrist and pulls it back to avoid his grasp. "Your desire to cause suspicion, however, prevents me from trusting you with such a delicate artifact." Sidi then looks up at the hobgoblin. "Be so kind as to take this, noble sir, before this paranoid character damages it beyond use in a paniced attempt to seize it."

"Ill fight that demon with you. Ill rip out his intestines and hang him by his neck with it!"

06-15-05, 02:31 PM Suddenly 5 demons emerge from a portal. Isadara immedialty grabs his sword and stabs one of the demons. We must kill them-quickly
