She is bound in her form, iron flesh on wooden bones. The masts claw their way into the hellscape, plated in the black iron of the rest of the ship. Gunports hold wicked cannon, strange both for their presence and their design. On rotating, manned turrets on the deck are even stranger weapons - gattling guns. As the men board her, the cry goes up, "Hoist the colors!"

She is a predator, a model of ship never before seen on the Styx, never before seen in the Baatorian cosmos. The bodies of devils are thrown overboard, hissing and dissolving in the black waters. Men find their stations and raise black sails while others go belowdecks. The ship shudders and roars deep within its belly as fires are stoked, turbines starting up.

Zachariah Graves takes the helm, having reclaimed his possesions. The boy wears a smart black coat with knee-high leather boots. At his side are a pair of handguns - miniature gattling guns with belt-feeds coming from his pockets. At the boy's side is a slim raipier. He looks down to the deck below and smiles, seeing his crew busy at work and men mounting the guns. Finally, the flag goes up. Emblazoned on the black cloth is a red sword crossed with a pistol.

As he begins to turn the wheel away from shore, the captain of the Unbroken Oath begins to sing, and his crew joins him, the ironclad throbbing with the joy and passion of free men going to do what they do best.

"The king and his men
Stole the queen from her bed
And bound her in her bones.
The seas be ours
And by the powers
Where we will, we'll roam.

Yo ho
Haul together
Hoist the colors high!
Heave ho
Thieves and beggars
Never shall we die!"

With speed that belies her weight and precision that speaks of her prowess, the predator slips onto the frigid Styx, on course for the Abyss.

The observant can see a shimmer in the air behind the captain. The very observant can make out his humanoid shape, a once muscular man, almost skeletal now, dressed in a long blue coat lined with what once was a silver, he wears no shirt under this coat, his pants are of the same color scheme as his coat and his silver and black belt holds a flintlock pistol and what appears to be a normal cutlass. Atop his head is a hat that only a captain would be allowed to wear, a large gaunt thing in the shape of a triangle with one long edge, its black leather with a long feather of a seahawk protruding from its brim, (Heres a link (http://www.bilgemunky.com/reviews/other/images/jackshatstand.jpg)to the hat since I cant describe it). His flesh is mostly rotted away but he still retains his regal appearence. In his left hand is a bottle of rum that is always half full no matter how much he drinks, and he drinks alot. He wears 3 rings on his rigth hand and 2 on his left. His head sports a long white beard and his hair matches it with length and color, his face is now only a skeletal remnant of the serious glare he once held in life.

The ghost pirate corporealizes behind Captain Zach. He speaks, a voice that at first sounds like the screeching of winds and rain against gravestones but smoothes out to a still unnatural deep and clerly ghostly voice, it echoes slolwy to the ears of Captain Zach, "Zaaacch, how are ya mate. Zebras took ma ship or so I heard. Wait...no, devils not zebras and its yer ship now aint it."

As the ship leaves, a huge figure appears on the docks. The man looks over the water, then turns around and heads into the tavern.

The dark and sinister man quietly sings a song of his own in a velvety voice

"I love to set out to the sea again
To the lonely sea and the sky
And all I need is a sturdy boat
And a star to sail her by."

Having completed his song, he seeks out the captain for introductions.

At what point in the Space-Time continum did I approve anyone besides Sorcen? Did I miss something? Am I no longer the person approving characters for this thread? Just because my Internet went down doesn't mean ya'll get to jump the friggin' gun.

Leaning on the side rail just a yard or so away from Captain Graves is a young man. There's no mistaking the otherworldly cast about his fey features, his face of delicate shape, and his green eyes glinting more than they ought to in the pale light of hell. He grins, his long navy frock coat billowing in the breeze, along with the vibrant green ribbon tied to his left arm. Contrasting with the deep navy of his coat, a snow-colored shirt can be seen under it. Grinning, he deftly twirls his double sword, and looks at Graves. "We ready to shove off, captain Zacheriah?"

Unless I gravely misunderstood you, Lord Gareth, this character is Captain Zach's cousin. She's a fairly typical crewmember.

A young girl leaps down to the deck. She has blond hair, pale sea-green eyes, and a soft yet angular face. She looks to be about twelve years old, but she walks with a purposeful stride and has an air of authority that makes her seem old for her years. She carries a slender, ornate trident, and wears at her belt a silver rapier twin to the one sheathed at her cousin Zachariah's belt. Also tucked into her belt is a a pair of shining silver pistols.

Taylor wears a pair of knee-high black leather boots like her cousin's, and her black coat hangs loosely open over a green blouse. Her long hair is held back by a bandana the color of her eyes, embroidered with the same silver waves that are etched along the shaft of her trident.

Taylor's trident has a small, shell-shaped fixture about the size of her clenched fist at the branching point for the prongs. This is a magosynthetic battery of sorts, which electrifies the trident prongs momentarily when pressure is applied to the grip. (This is simply another Dreavarrian innovation that illustrates the Oath's fusion of magic and technology.) The battery needs to be charged by lightning, whether magical or natural in origin, every week to function properly.

A woman stands upon the fore of the ship, (you'd call her a human, but that is nowhere near appropriate) watching the crewmen work. Her priestess's robes are decorated with the symbol of an ornate curled dragon stitched on the back, and the eyes are made of small rubies that seem to gleam intelligently in the light. Her black hair is tied tightly behind her in a long braid and tucked inside the robes themself so that it is almost non-exist.

She seems to enjoy the attention of the crew members, and the careful bearth that they give to her. Her arms crossed, she drums her hand, which end in wicked claws, softly against the small, greenish scales of her arm. Her eyes dart about, taking another careful look at the crew. As her eyes rest briefly in yours, you can see that her pupils are unblinking narrow slits that glow a dull yellow light. You also take note that the scales around her eyes are actually more of an aquamarine tint. The wings that sprout out the shoulders of her robe and folded neatly behind her, and the dragon tail swishes slowly from side to side on the deck, like a patient predator's.

Temporarily content, she pulls out the holy symbol from under her robes and starts to sing softly a deep ritual hymn to Verexthia in the draconic language.
