The World of Mestha is an endless place, scarred by the death of its creators millenia ago, and its fate now decided by petty gods, and self-richous mortals. Its most active area since the great cataclysms, has become Torankha translated as "Land", by the ancient Daemon language, or "Lost", by the human tongue, a supercontinent in the north-east of the known world. off of its westernmost tip, lies the Avan archipalego, which arches about the outer southern waters of Toraknha to its southeastern tip, the paninsula known as the Bloody Thumb. South of the eastern portion is a continent called Eln Torankha, or "Dead Land". South of the western part of the Avan Archipalego, are five Islands known as "The Laughing Spires", which form a barrier around the small continent of Jehiema, which lies on the edge of "Zan Grandema Shigh", or "The Endless Winter/Glacier".

(The Races

Humans: Usual ability scores/bonus racial featires The Humans of Mestha are rather uncommon. They are especially rare in Torankha, the only population of them truly being in Odabhi, and they are usually pit fodder. in the Avan Empire, they are bred as slaves, and lesser bodygaurds. They have no magical prowess at all, and only the despirate research of the Anthropologists of the Avan Star cities, haveany history of their coming to being. Apparently, eons ago, they lived side by side with the long lost Elves of the world. Some time after, when the Shade elves were born from the off-spring of Elves and the Shadows of Vox (God of the Cynureman Lichfolk.). They were reduced to almost nothing by disasters in their own cities, and by the slaughter of the shade elves, but slowly regained a foot-hold on stability, on the continent of Torankha. Three thousand years ago, the Thilikan demons, under Narmlauss' cruel rule, reduced the humans to almost nothing. A family of Succubi, the Remnardhi, preserved the only surviving population, and bred them to a small village of six hundred. When Gaudete fell, they were lost to slavery, slaughter, and raw hate. There are very few left, and those hailing to any pofession, are strictly under the watchful eyes of their Nagali masters, and usually practce bardwork, or the lesser arts of war.

(All humans start in the Archipalego, on its western end, in the Nagali state of Maura'Zahm)

(The Prominant regions of Torankha.

Odabhi, The Fallen Star Seven centuries ago, when Ava's lands were in Chaos, one of the most prominant threats they faced, was the Succubine man known as Taurn Sorganer. He was the lord of Odabhi, the one handhold Ava had left on Torankha. The city wasa great military power for Ava, in large part to Taurn's masterwork with the great Metal Men of Ava's army, the Mechai. Rather than face a rival city in the sky, Ava decided to cast the 'Star of Torankha', down from the sky, and launched a two decade long project of sabotage against Odabhi's great power supply. In that time, Taurn had raised a son to succeed his craft, named Zedar Kalihyuri, and also began construction on a set of Mind-slave Mechai. These, unlike his previous creations, did not require the death of those who would control them. Before he could finish any of the three well enough to be used at all, however. The sabotage of Odabhi was complete... and the great Star of Torankha, plunged into what it hadpreviously governed over.

Miraculously, most of the population survived. None, hwoever, could restoe the great mana diamonds that had peously fueled the city's continuous metamancery... and the star, would never rise again.

The impact of the great star, shattered the lands about it, however. It formed Laiotea River, which runs as a natural barrier between the DiamondSweat mountaqins, and the rest of Torankha. A whole new set of mountains rise in the DiamondSweat, oisolating them even further from the outside world. It also created the great crater-like underground that is now home to a Third of Odabhi's now bursting Population. Today, Odabhi is the most powerful kingdom in Torankha, in its thriving economy and powerful military. Its borders end on the eastern rise of the DiamondSweat mountains, and extend from there to several dozen miles out from Laiotea River's western banks.
