| Mechail01-09-04, 04:36 AM | Tired from long days of creeping through the forests of Delnivion, the Human Kingdom of the West, Mechail finally slumped down against a tree. His face was worn, a deep cut on his forehead was slowly but steady bleeding still. He touched it softly with his right hand, noticed his hand was full of dirt and quickly removed it from his head, afraid for infections. He was deadly tired from running. Those chasing him would probably not give up that easy but he had reached the nation of Delnivion now, so in fact he was as safe as any in no one's land. At least he wasn't a fugitive here. The Half-Elf experienced a tragic thing in his homeland of the Western Realm of the Elves, the Glamirida nation. Witness to the brutal murder of the youngest son of the oldest prince Mechail was mistakingly taken for the murderer. In his reaction he jumped and ran off, the elves had at that point no more reason to doubt about who the killer had been. Mechail had just ran and ran. Now he was too tired to continue, he fell asleep against the tree... (I welcome all who want to add to this, for questions about nations or other parts of this world contact me at Anjelen666@hotmail.com) |
| kulideb01-09-04, 04:42 AM | ((I'd like to join, Here's some basic info on the ch I will use: Name : Emerald Race: wild elf. Gender :female. Class: Druid. Hair: Long and Green in colour. Eyes : Green Skin: copper. just let me know if there are any special rules or info I should Know about.)) Emerald watched the elf run from the safty of one of the trees. He seemed hurt and tired. He stopped and settled down by her tree to sleep. Emerald climbed down, her bare feet not making a sound. She stood and looked at the sleeping figure, No hes not a full elf she thought to her self. she crouched down in front of him with her silver dagger drawn and waited for the stranger to wake. |
| Mechail01-09-04, 04:51 AM | (Cool, Welcome Kulideb ((pls don't make your character too mighty, all in good time ^^))) |
| kulideb01-09-04, 04:58 AM | ((I must have been busy editing my post when you replyed:D )) |
| Mechail01-09-04, 05:07 AM | (lol, np) It took some time before Mechail woke up, but when he finally did he was not pleasantly surprised to find a dagger this close to his face. He blinked and looked up into elven eyes. 'Name is Mechail, I mean no harm.' He wanted to say more but found his throat contricted. The elf before him was unlike any he had ever seen (wild elves are rare if you are ok with that^^). He awaited, not able to defend himself, the elf would certainly be faster than him. |
| Leonidas Nightingale01-09-04, 05:08 AM | A young man slowly walked trough the woods of the realm, sword girded around his waist and a round shield on his back. He was not particulair broad but from his stature could be seen there was a lot of strength and skill in the man. A small stick hung from his mouth and jumped up and down when moved by his teeth. Then, when he had only just crossed a stream he saw a man, a wounded man lying besides a tree. The young rougue stealtly moved trough the woods and ensircled the wounded one, then he took a long sleek dagger from his leather booth and moved towards the man and the elf standing with a dagger on his troath. Hiding the dagger in his sleeve he asked to the two who had not see him yet. "Do you have anything to spare for a poor begger?" ((OOC:Hey Dan, do you like my signature.)) |
| Mechail01-09-04, 05:16 AM | (Leonidas, welcome, Mechail already replied to the elf Kulideb without the young rogue being there, perhaps you could re-phrase your reply ? Mark, you're Signature is cool, but your post contradicts the story already :s pls change it dude... ok now it's better ^^ tnx man) Mechail only looks at the stranger while he keeps one eye on the dagger of the female elf.. |
| kulideb01-09-04, 05:21 AM | She brushed a strand of long green tangled hair from her face, the dark green tattoos on her face and arms gave her a wild look. She blinked as the half elf spoke, but some thing had changed, the sound of the bird song. She looked up to see another man aproach. |
| Mechail01-09-04, 05:24 AM | You guys continue... |
| Leonidas Nightingale01-09-04, 05:25 AM | ((OOC: I suppose thing go a bit as they are just writen. ;) )) Leonidas takes a great leap back, trips and falls when the elf with the greenish hair jumps from the tree. The dagger falls but only underneath his back. "What, what I am only a mere begger, I did not pull any arms against you or your wounded friend. I mean no harm." |
| Mechail01-09-04, 05:27 AM | ((hahahaha, omg this is so funny)) |
| kulideb01-09-04, 05:31 AM | ((Hehe! Sorry I will chage her post back to jumping out the tree!)) |
| Mechail01-09-04, 05:34 AM | (Let's do this differently pls, this is really not goin anywhere ^^, let's make it more turn based, Kulideb did NOT jump out of the tree, she simply looked up at you Leanidas, read back pls. So now it's Leonidas' turn, then Mechail's, Kulideb's and again Leonidas, perhaps this will help from blundering like we did ^^) |
| kulideb01-09-04, 05:35 AM | Do any of you have ICQ or MSN? |
| Mechail01-09-04, 05:36 AM | (Kulideb, DON'T change back pls, you did NOT jump out of the tree.) ((Both, MSN is Mechail_the_Vampire@hotmail.com)) |
| Leonidas Nightingale01-09-04, 05:47 AM | Let's start it all over with Mechail laying besides the tree? |
| Mechail01-09-04, 05:52 AM | ((Leonidas, NO, Mechail lay beside the tree, the elf came, you came, now we are all staring at eachother and the elf asked you something....)) |
| Leonidas Nightingale01-09-04, 05:57 AM | Eh, the elf asked me something  No I do not have MSN. |
| kulideb01-09-04, 06:03 AM | ((It might have gotten lost with all the editing sorry.)) "Do I look like I have money." The elf said in a soft voice. |
| Pintel01-09-04, 06:21 AM | “Ah yes! Money is truly the root of all evil” The words seem to appear out of thin air, but then a man dressed in fancy tailored clothing steps forth from a large stand of laurel. “Good day gents and m’lady, have no fear for Pintel is here!” The stranger appears to have no weapon, just a staff of remarkable fashion. His white hair blows about in the breeze as he steps closer to your location. |
| Leonidas Nightingale01-09-04, 06:21 AM | "Eh, no miss, no offence. But please could you remove the dagger. I get a quit unconfortable feeling from the cold steel." |
| Leonidas Nightingale01-09-04, 06:23 AM | "Pintel, never heard of you and I can not turn my head around to look at you for the knife on my juglar but please could you ask the lady to remove it?" |
| kulideb01-09-04, 06:29 AM | The wild looking elf, stepped back, still holding her dagger, but longer held at the beggers throat. She looked over at Pintel, "Fancy words" she said "for some one in such fancy clothes." |
| Leonidas Nightingale01-09-04, 06:30 AM | Leonidas stood up when the dagger was lifted. "Fancy or not I thank him for comming around becasue you might have sliced my throat for nothing the way the dagger was on my juglar." then he looked at Pintel. "Good day sir. my name is Leonidas, Leonidas Nightingale." |
| Mechail01-09-04, 06:34 AM | The Half-Elf called Mechail just sat there being confused about this sudden appearance of these unknown people... (welcome Pintel) |
| Pintel01-09-04, 07:18 AM | “Ah yes, the fancier the better I always say.” Pintel nodded a greeting to the two as he looked down toward the half-elf at the base of the tree. “Ah Master Mechail I presume, welcome to the forests of Delnivion.” The mage stepped up beside him and dropped to one knee. “I’ve just returned from the Western Realm in which your name is spoken about much, none of it good as you might assume.” The artful dodger turned mage looks over the lads wounds. “I’m no physican, but there’s nothing here a bit of magic can't cure…if you don’t mind.” |
| Leonidas Nightingale01-09-04, 07:39 AM | Leonidas, the warrior turned over to Mechail. "So you are a celebretiy. Tell us, how did you get this wound." |
| Mechail01-09-04, 07:40 AM | Mechail eyed the wizard called Pintel and nodded briefly. 'I don't mind, I think..' He touched his head. 'How did you find me, and more importantly, why did you look for me master Mage?' To the man called Leonidas he only looked sheepish as if asking him not to tell his story. |
| Leonidas Nightingale01-09-04, 07:43 AM | "Well, keep your words for yourself then." "I think I am off, bye." And with this the traveller turned around and walked away. |
| Mechail01-09-04, 07:55 AM | Mechail did not reply. Just sat there watching the Wizard. |
| kulideb01-09-04, 03:29 PM | "There is no need to go flashing magic around, I'll gather some herbs, it doesn't look like hes going to bleed to death any time soon." With that the wild elf moved a short distance away and began to pick a few leaves, from a small plant with purple flowers. A soft breeze stired the leaves on the large oak trees over head, the birds seemed to settle back down and started to fill the air with bird song. It would be better still if there weren't so many people about the elf thought to her self. |
| Pintel01-09-04, 05:12 PM | “Yes well there is not much that goes unseen by my eye lad, besides its just happenstance that I’ve stumbled upon you now.” Pintel rises back to his feet when the wild she elf offers to help. “Well miss, herbs would work fine but a bit on the boring side for my taste, nothing like a good snap of the wand I do say, but I would not want to be a bother so have at it.” The mage watches as the gent walks off, looking back to the wild elf he quips. “Don’t believe I caught your name m’lady.” |
| Nazrukh Darkfist01-09-04, 09:17 PM | On any given day in the woods of Delnivion, one might never know what one might run into, and this day was no different. As the breeze eases through the forest, it begins to change directions and upon the wind comes strange sounds and the smell of smoke. |
| kulideb01-10-04, 06:13 AM | The elf went over to Mechail, she crouched down and used a stone to bruise the leaves. "I didn't throw my name for you to catch," she answered to Pintel. "But most folks call me Emerald." In a softer voice to Mechail she asked, "Let me rub these in to your cuts, it should stop any infection and help them heal faster." A faint tint in the air, made her stop. "Smoke!" she said angrily. |
| Mechail01-10-04, 08:25 AM | As the wizard asks the wild elf her name Mechail cocks his head up as if he was a bird. There was something in the air. Something foul. The half elf knows what creatures can be found in these woods, and he also knows that this is one he does not want to encounter, certainly not under these conditions. Just seconds later the wild elf who will from now on be called Emerald began cleansing his wounds and cuts with her herbs she collected. The stings never came, only a soothing feelings passed over his wounds. As if they themselves had been laid to rest. The half elf found himself staring at the wild elf. He had never before met one of them, although he had heard many stories about them. The tattoos he knew about, but that they were this beatiful he would have never guessed. As he eyed her she looked at him too and both of them notified eachother without a word that something foul was approaching. Mechail tried to stand up and call for the human to return, they could certainly use him when this odour turns out to be some wretched beast from the dark parts of the woods. (The party finds themselves three hours away from the priesthood at the outskirts of the forest, to the east. To the west Emerald knows to find a river who leads to the main entrance of the human kingdom.) |
| LOZ01-10-04, 09:18 AM | Jliari flying while invisible noticed a group of people. one of them she thought was rather odd, but then again if they were to see her they might think she was odd. She watched them for a few minutes an then decided to get closer. |

| Nazrukh Darkfist01-10-04, 10:43 AM | Just a short distance away a fairly sized camp fire roars as two large figures prepare their daily meal. Large steaks of venison hang from sticks slowly cooking their most recent catch; the sweet smell of roasted flesh fills the air to their delight. The smaller of the two looked human, a barbarian generously proportioned in girth and weight, though believed by some to have Orc blood flowing in his veins. He was dressed in a chain mail shirt over an animal hide tunic. High fur boots covered his feet while his head was completely bald accept for a long pony tail tied together with several leather straps that dangling just past his shoulder blades. A two handed sword was slung across his back securely fastened in a baldric. He reached into his boot and pulled out a small stag handled dagger and cut off a small piece of meat and tasted it. “M’m …not bad at all my good friend, no bad at all …soon we will feast!” |
| Mechail01-10-04, 10:55 AM | (Cool post Nazrukh, tnx, pls ALL send me some more info about your characters, age, race, profession, weaknesses, spells, all you dare to reveal pls ^^) |
| coldstone01-10-04, 10:35 PM | Hunched over ,the eight foot tall ogre leaned A bit to close to the meat. As suddenly the hair on his chin started to singe. He jumps back with A roar rubbing his huge hand over his rough scally chin. He looks at his friend and says ," I likes worms, so why cants I eats it fresh? |
| Nazrukh Darkfist01-11-04, 07:04 AM | Nazrukh breaks out in thunderous laughter at his half-ogre friend’s misfortune or stupidity; the two seem to go hand in hand at times. As the cackle echoes through the trees the Barbarian takes a seat. “No no Stoney, how many times I’s got to tells ya …ya have to cook yer food before one eats it. Well at least ya won’t have to shave today.” the cackle echoes through the trees...hint hint ;) _________ The Dark Corner...the gathering (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=159080) ***players wanted*** |
| kulideb01-11-04, 07:40 AM | There was a disharmony to the bird song as Emerald head a strange cakle sound. She looked at Mechail, in time to catch him staring at her. "You will live, if you head west you will find a river, then just follow the smell to the human city." She stood up and closed her eyes trying to gain some sort of direction of where the strange smoke smell and the cakle had come from. Opening her eyes she saw that Mechail and Pintel, hadn't made a move to go. "Don't you want to go back to the city? I have to go, some thing is upsetting the balance." With that she began to move away. |
| LOZ01-11-04, 10:50 AM | She carried on watching them. She decided to get even closer. She flew (still invisible) closer and then circled them, She wondered if anyone had felt her presents. |
| Mechail01-11-04, 12:23 PM | Mechail thought he recognized a hint of disdain in Emerald's voice when she remarked that he would find the human city by smelling it. In fact he stood on the verge of telling her that the human kingdom of the west was not his home... only until he realized that perhaps her following question would be where his home was, and he would have no answer. Although the half elf most of the time went through life as Mechail (his human name) but this had other reasons than most would think. His elven name, given to him by his non-biological father, was Avalar (he who overcomes). His father had given him his name when he sat watching his wife struggle to keep living. He gave him his name while he held the child of another man in his arms. 'We will overcome...my son.' Were his words, his mother had once told him. This he thought about while he suddenly saw something glint under the light of the sun not far from them. He stood up while answering Emerald. 'I do not seek refuge under the humans wild elf. I appreciate your help but I have the funny feeling that perhaps the wizard would accept me asking to accompany him for some time.' With these words he glanced at Pintel. A faint glint in his eyes when the face of the wizard came into view. 'Something is following us Emerald, you can't have missed this. Perhaps you would be so kind as to inform us who or what it is?' ((Nazrukh / Coldstone, feel free to travel on, create the world as you move if you will. All players are free to help create this world as we go along.)) |
| kulideb01-11-04, 03:44 PM | Emerald was a little surprised to hear that the halfelf didn't want to go to the city, his next words caught her even more off gaurd. She had been so busy trying to locate the sent of smoke that she hadn't noticed anything else. She had spent all her life living in woods and having as little to do with others as she could. And now an halfelf had spotted something she hadn't. She tried to fosus on their surroundings, she got a feeling something was there. "I'm not sure, some thing is watching us." |
| LOZ01-11-04, 05:10 PM | Jliari noticed the group looking at something so she looked around and then realised it must be her. She smiled at her stupidity. She then flew around again and giggled which sounded like little silver bells tinkling. |
| Nazrukh Darkfist01-11-04, 07:11 PM | Nazrukh grabs a stick of meat and sets down by a tree; he scratches his back a bit against the rough bark then takes a huge bite. As he enjoys the roasted flesh his thought’s drift back to when he was a youngster. The first time he tasted venison was after a hunting trip with his grandfather, he was just fourteen. It was the first season after his father was killed in the northern war; they had spent a couple of days tracking game when they came across a huge buck. After their meal they packed the remaining meat and his grandfather used the antlers to make handles for a pair of daggers, one of which he still carries. |
| coldstone01-11-04, 08:44 PM | Hey, hey snap out of it. So, whats we huntin anyway, I can't tell, all I smells is blood. Is it human, elf or what? Is it true what they says about him? |
| Nazrukh Darkfist01-11-04, 09:26 PM | Nazrukh snaps out of his daze at the shouts of his old friend. “What ya say? …oh yes the elf fellow? ...he be wanted for murder” The Barbarian tossed the remaining piece of meat off to the side where a pair of small rodents scurried about just waiting for a treat. “Well, let me read ya the bounty note to ya…again.” He digs a piece of folded parchment from a pocket, upon opening it he reads. “Let’s see, ah…blah blah…by the order of his splendor, sovereign ruler of Glamirida, blah blah blah.” The Barbarian, though more formally educated then his Ogre counterpart skipped the words he did not know as he read on. “…A bounty is set for five hunerd goal pieces for the safe return of a half-elf fugitive that hails by the name Mechail.” Nazrukh pauses a moment and sniffs the air as it swirls about their encampment. “Did ya say you’s smells humans and elves or just elves?” |
| kulideb01-12-04, 05:34 AM | A smile crossed the wild elfs face as she heard the chime of small bells. "Its just a faeriedragon. Harmless, well most of the time." The breeze seemed to blow a little stronger bringing with it the sent of burnt flesh. The elf shuddered, more than likely there were hunters not to far away. She ran her fingers through her hair and looked at Pintel and Mechail. "What bought you both to the woods?" |
| Mechail01-12-04, 05:38 AM | Mechail eyed Emerald shortly and returned his gaze to the wizard. 'I told you why I am here, do not let me repeat myself. It's not something I wish to tell every hour wild elf.' (Pls forgive Mechail, he does not live a happy life, most of the times he reflects this on others he speaks) 'Pintel, where are you headed, I am healed enough to walk, I could join you for a while, if you would be so nice as to call me Avalar in public. The name of Mechail is probably making his round as we speak.' The man looked hurt and still awaited the Wizards reply. |
| Pintel01-12-04, 05:50 AM | “Well Emerald…” Pintel said with a smirk. “Prepare your mending remedy quickly now, I fear we are not alone.” The mage doesn’t necessarily smell the change in the air, but could sense something was amiss through other means. As the half-elf asked to join him, he thought for a moment then responded. “It might be best if we all stayed together for while for safety reasons.” |
| kulideb01-12-04, 05:54 AM | The wild elf crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at Pintels words. "Do you mean to protect me? or for me to protect you?!" she asked with a hint of amusment to her voice. |
| Pintel01-12-04, 05:56 AM | The Archmage chuckled at the thought of a wild she-elf helping him. "You mock me do you?" |
| kulideb01-12-04, 06:00 AM | She took a step forward and brushed some imaginary dust from Pintel's clothes. "There sir, all ready to do battle.!" she bowing to him. |
| Pintel01-12-04, 06:05 AM | Pintel stood there as Emerald went about her antics trying not to look humiliated. “Alright then missy, are we through bickering?” He did have his own reasons for keeping this group together but that was his secret for now. How I do hate to work with Elves, be they half or wild. ...Pintel pondered as he watched her bowing. |
| Mechail01-12-04, 06:07 AM | The half elf actually chuckled at the words and actions between the wild elf and the wizard. ' Perhaps we should indeed stay together for now. Will this faery dragon join us Emerald? Could you find out?' With those words Mechail walked (with some difficulty) over to the human Leonidas. 'Will you stay or go Leonidas?' |
| Mechail01-12-04, 06:12 AM | (Leonidas unfortunately left us. I will take over his character.) The human warrior made a grim face as the half elf asked him to stay. 'I have other business to attend to. Make sure you heal before you travel half elf.' And the man left them with a short wave. Moving to the west, to the river... |
| kulideb01-12-04, 06:16 AM | Emerald was going to leave them to it, by herself she knew she could survive in the woods. But she was a little curious and didn't often mix with other humanoid creatures. "Faeriedragons tend to do what they please." |
| coldstone01-12-04, 01:13 PM | Suddenly Nazrukh jumped up and started to run off, he yelled back to his friend,"put out the fire and follow as you can." The fire was out with one stomp of the ogre's huge foot. They were off ,but not without one more bite. Ripping the leg off the carcass and grabbing his huge hammer, away he lopped; following more by smell than site. What the ogre lacked in inteligence he made up for in insticts. He could already tell that there was more than one ahead and that they were of differnt race. He was already gaining ground on his friend , with his long strides. |
| LOZ01-12-04, 01:48 PM | Jliari became visible as her scales caught the light they shined orange and yellow she had a huge grin on her face. She flew around the wild elf and then landed on her shoulder. "umm...an adventure...i think i might just tag along and see how it goes." She flew around again still smiling.:D |
| Mechail01-12-04, 07:03 PM | The feary dragon came into view and landed on the shoulder of the wild elf called Emerald. Mechail was dazzled by the beast, for he had never seen one, his elven blood could not do anything but make him stare. IT did not take long before the roughness of the human pulled the elf out of his revery. Another Adventure ? I certainly hope not the half elf thought. With Leonidas now gone they stood, An Half elf, a Wild Elf, the Wizard and this magical little dragon. Struck by the whole situation, struck in a weird way, Mechail suddenly turned right to face the other two (he thinks its odd to count the dragon as a person just yet, since he is unfamiliar with them  ). 'Well, Emerald, I thank you for your kind help with my wounds. I should guess another two or three days will get me right back in the saddle (Mechail can not ride a horse :D ).' 'Pintel, your offer I take was as kind and well meant as the lady's so I thank you for that. And I never thought I would ever say this but...If it's time for an adventure as our friendly dragon here suggested then I suppose we'd better tag along.' His look shifted, Mechail stepped forward and whispered. 'The Elven Prince was not murdered by me. The Elven Prince was not murdered by someone equal to my strength. This was someone who tenfolded my strength and brought it down on the young prince.' A short silence. 'Several days, 13 I recall, prior to the kill I started having this feelings of emptiness, darkness. As if something bad was approaching. And later indeed something did happen, something very evil.' The Bearded Half Elf shook his head and sighed. 'That poor young man.' After another short sigh he stared straight into the wizard's eyes. 'But my feeling has not gone, it has indeed become stronger.'' Mechail/Avalar was a broad-shouldered man, not big but present. His beard and long hair made him the human at first sight. But his movements consisted of more grace. Even though, this man now looked miserable and afraid, and it's what he told them too. 'I'm afraid that our little Dragon might be right. More trouble is coming, and it's coming fast. So, if anyone of you could use a not-so-fast traveler I'm willing to tag along.' 'I have now absolutely no place to go anymore anyway.' He checked for the smell of smoke and smelled it but less than before, the fire must have been killed. He took two steps and stretched, slowly, bit painfully but all the way. Without turning he asked. 'Well?' (Please feel free to let your characters already know some things that Mechail told them, perhaps they know of other facts or stories or perhaps versions. And so on.. Have fun) |
| Nazrukh Darkfist01-12-04, 09:19 PM | The Barbarian finally comes to a stop behind the trunk of a huge tree. Peering through a large evergreen he can barely make out two or three figures a short distance away. Nazrukh gets down on all fours and crawls through the brush to get a better look. |
| coldstone01-12-04, 10:14 PM | As the ogre came around a huge tree he saw Nazrukh's hand clenched in a fist he froze still as stone. He began to scan the area ahead he moved forward at a snails pace and slowly stooped down besides his friend. He leaned close and said," whats plan". Without saying a word Nazrukh motioned with his hand. Coldstone knew instantly what he wanted, they had played this game many times before. The ogre could move quite stealthily for an eight foot hulk, before long he had made his way around to the other side of the small party in the clearing. This was coldstones favorite part, the adrenalin began to race through his viens he could hear his own heart beat in his ears; time slowed; sweat dripped from his face; his fists clenched the handle of his four foot long hammer;the air grew thin with tension. He waited. |
| Pintel01-13-04, 06:03 AM | Pintel can sense something close, his left eye begins to twitch a bit as he fears his charade is about to be found out. “Ah, sooo …I believe we should be on the move.” He speaks to the others as he moves to a position putting the Elves between him and what ever danger loiters about. |
| kulideb01-13-04, 06:12 AM | The elf lifted a hand and patted the dragon. Pintel moved, and seemed eager to be off. "I did hear whisperings of the death of the Prince, but I dont usually pay attention to any thing that comes from the city, Elven or Human." The sounds of the forest had changed again, the chirping of the crickets had stoped. She looked at Pintel, he senses some thing too she thought. "We should move, the fancy one is right." |
| LOZ01-13-04, 04:45 PM | Jliari flew around the group and waited for someone to lead. |
| Nazrukh Darkfist01-13-04, 06:40 PM | Nazrukh moves in closer after motioning to Coldstone, upon seeing just a couple of Elves and a flamboyantly dressed human he gives the half-ogre further instructions. The Barbarian whistles and chirps a short bird call that signals proceed with caution, then reaches for his two-handed sword as he steps out into the clearing. “Don’t anyone move!” …he bellowed as he stepped forth, his blade glistening in the sunbeams that filtered down through the thick canopy of leaves. “No harm will come to ya’s …just need the names of you trespassers, and no funny business! ...I’ve heard of elf trickery.” Naz quickly glanced around just in case he missed someone. “…and where has that dragon fly gone too?” |
| kulideb01-14-04, 05:38 AM | Emerald looked very displeased as a barbarian stepped out. Although she had to admire the way one so large had managed to creep up on them like that. "Trespassers!" she said. "And since when did you own the forest?" she said crossing her arms and tapping her foot. She had a polymorph spell ready, just in case she needed to get away, thinking of which she looked round for the faerydragon. Hoping the creature was still close by in its invisable form. |
| Pintel01-14-04, 05:52 AM | Pintel’s eyes bulge out at the sight of the burly humanoid. He nonchalantly moves behind the she elf for safety as he tries to devise his next move. The mage stalls for time as he pretends to be preparing a spell of defense. |
| Mechail01-14-04, 06:40 AM | Somehow this change in the situation did not surprise the half elf (who really looks more like a human), this whole day had been madness. Winching at the word Tresspassers Mechail was stunned by the fact that he realized he was in human territory. This on hist best day could make him feel real awkward. Now as he was stopped and even questioned right after his flee it made him feel scared to the bone. Mechail sagged through his legs. He sat on the ground watching the big humanoid swing with his big sword with sweat on his face and it did not take long for him to pass out... |
| LOZ01-14-04, 02:55 PM | Jliari turned invisible as soon as she saw the humanoid. "Dragon fly hmm.." she muttered as she flew over to the humanoid. Jliari faced him and then used her breath weapon (a cloud of euphoria gas.) |
| Nazrukh Darkfist01-14-04, 07:40 PM | The Barbarian waved his hand around his head as he felt and heard the flutter of wings. “I know yer round dragon fly, why not show yer self?” Nazrukh, upon taking a deep breathe suddenly has an attitude adjustment, looks to the elf as the other collapses to the ground. “Well elf …there seems to be no fear or intimidation that will work on ya… As he speaks he tries to get a look at mister fancy pants that seems to be hiding in her shadow. “Soooo, I’s take back the part bout tresspassin’ and we’ll just go with names…how’s that?” Naz gives a whistle to Stoney to come out as he leans to his left, looking past he gets a good look at the mage. “Hey! …aren’t you that there crazy Bard from Percival’s Pub back there in Four Corners?” |
| coldstone01-14-04, 10:43 PM | The ogre steps from his hiding place with a look of disappiontment. He was deffinitly up for this fight. As he looked at the group of people in front of him he could not imagine what would make any of them worth 500 gold pieces, none of them seemed like real killers. He strides into the clearing, walking right up to the elf and says," di's one". Looking at Nazrukh doubtfully. |
| kulideb01-15-04, 03:57 AM | Emerald smiled as the barbarian's attitude changed. So Fancy might not be some great wizard after all she thought to her self. An ogre steped out of the undergrowth looking very disapointed. He walked over to her and spoke to his friend. The wild elf looked up at him. "Di's one what?" She bought her hand to rest upon the hilt of her dagger. |
| Pintel01-15-04, 06:33 AM | Pintel sheepishly steps out from behind Emerald; he flashes the filthy barbarian a narrow gaze. “Why…ah…No! …ah…I’ve never been to Four Corners, matter a fact I’ve never heard of said town.” He re-gathers his confidence and reconstructs his facade… “I am Pintel the great, Archmage of Shadow Horn!” With that he raises his ornate staff threatening action. |
| Mechail01-15-04, 06:45 AM | Mechail is still out cold not experiencing any of this... (Nice one Loz :D) |
| Mechail01-15-04, 06:45 AM | (Comp acts weird, sorry) |
| Mechail01-15-04, 06:45 AM | (As I said before :S) |
| Nazrukh Darkfist01-15-04, 07:22 AM | Nazrukh just rolled his eyes at the so-called mage’s threatening posture as he lowered his sword. “No need to get all flustered now there magey, perhaps I’ve made a mistake.” Not hardly… he thought to himself. A smile finally shown on the Barbarian’s face as he watched the half-ogre meander out. “No not this one, this one be one of them wood elves, but that halfie one on the ground there might be ‘em.” Naz drove the point of his sword into the ground, then reached for the parchment tucked in his tunic. “I be Nazrukh...the Darkfist some's call me, that there be my cohort Coldstone, not to worry none ...his breath be worse than his bite. The large human can't help but let out a slight chuckle whenever he get's the best of his friend. "Any hows ...see here folks, I have this here bounty note for a murderin’ half-elf wanted in Glamirida.” |
| coldstone01-15-04, 08:32 PM | The ogre steps over to the unconscious half elf, he leans over and takes a real hard look , then lifts his head while pionting at the limp figuire and says," I tink we knows dis one ". |
| kulideb01-16-04, 05:08 AM | The wild elf went over to Mechail, she sighed and crouched down. She carefully pulled out a water skin then splashed some of the cold water over the half elfs face. "I don't think di's one would be able to murder any one!" she said to the orgre. |
| Mechail01-16-04, 02:13 PM | The half elf's state does not change after the water procedure... |
| Pintel01-16-04, 03:47 PM | Pintel found him self standing their holding up his staff as everyone else pretty much ignored him as they went over to the half-elf Mechail. Yes, well let that be a lesson to you ruffian. …he mumbled to himself as he lowered the rod and joined the others. |
| LOZ01-16-04, 04:34 PM | Jliari flew around and then became visible again. She flew around Pintel and then joined the others. |
| kulideb01-17-04, 02:02 PM | "May be his wounds are worse than they first looked." the wild elf said, cross with her self for not checking him over more before. |
| Pintel01-18-04, 07:21 AM | Looking down on the lad Pintel just smirked… “He just wants attention!” The mage starts to poke him with the end of his staff. “Come on …get up boy! …and declare your innocence before these reward seekers.” |
| Mechail01-18-04, 12:18 PM | (Hahaha ! Cool Pintel :D) (But he does not move, really, I'm sorry, you guys got yourself a small situation...) |
| kulideb01-19-04, 03:33 PM | The wild elf looked up angrily at Pintel. "Leave him be!" She wasnt fond of using magic with out good reason, but Mechail needed help. She placed a hand upon his forehead and began to focus her energy on healing him, she knew that this might not work but it seemed a good a place as any to start. |
| Nazrukh Darkfist01-19-04, 09:44 PM | The Barbarian looks on… “Well if he’s not the one that did the murderin’ then who did?” As the wild elf goes about trying to perform some sort of healing ritual, Nazrukh scans the surrounding woods; he lifts his nose up and sniffs a few times. M’m…hounds… he mumbles to himself. “We best be gettin’ a move on missy, there might be others tracking em’ and our camp fire most likely would attract any would be seekers in this direction.” All of a sudden the sound of yapping dogs can be heard rising in the distance. Naz turns toward his half-ogre cohort…”Alright Stoney throw em’ over yer shoulder and follow the Elf.” He turns toward Emerald who was still kneeling over Mechail. “Lead them back west and follow the river toward the city, I’ll hang back and slow em’ down a bit, go now!” |
| Mechail01-20-04, 03:32 AM | Emerald placed her hands on Mechail in order to try and heal him, or find out what's wrong when a sudden sensation enters her body through her fingers. It reaches out for her mind, as if someone was trying to speak to her, she could only catch a few words before Nazrukh made them depart in case of further troubles. '....as always, don't try to run. We know you and we will.....' The rest is a blur since her concentration is broken by the warrior human. The half elf is still not awake or concious. |
| kulideb01-21-04, 09:23 AM | Emerald stood up, she looked puzzeled. "Yes...We better move, just go careful with him when you throw him over your shoulder!" She looked round before moving off. "If you just head past that large ash tree there is a shallow stream, follow its course. Walking through the water should help mask our sent." She called for Jliari. "See if you can annoy them, to buy us a bit more time." she smiled at the faerydragon, then set off towards the ash tree. |
| LOZ01-21-04, 03:14 PM | Jliari flew around emerald "Happy to help" she said grining. She turned invisible and continued flying around. |
| Milkhouse01-21-04, 07:35 PM | Deep in the forest a small hill giant works a pair of hunting dogs. They have been hot on the trail of something, running off wildly, while he tries hard to slow them down. “Cjar! …Muek! …Heel boyz!” He throws in a few hoots and whistles but the hairy beasts run on. Four legged trouble is all they are I tell ya! …he mutters as he makes his way stomping through the under brush. |
| Nazrukh Darkfist01-21-04, 09:24 PM | As the others prepare to leave Nazrukh draws his two-handed sword and heads off in the direction of the yapping. The smell of the hounds fill the air as he draws closer, swiftly he sheaths his blade and climbs up a large tree. From his new vantage point he searches for the on coming beasts, and then he spots him. Well I’ll be…a hilly giant? |
| coldstone01-21-04, 10:01 PM | The ogre takes a knee and gentley lifts the young half elf. He turns and says to the wood elf,"Don't worry missy I be gentle as a lamb". As he lays the lad over his shoulder with ease he says,"Light as a feather he be". Then he quikly lumbers off heading west. |
| LOZ01-22-04, 11:44 AM | Jliari follows Nazrukh (still invisible) she flys around him. i don't see what help i'm going to be she says in side her head. oh well i suppose he will do the job an i will just tag along. |
| kulideb01-22-04, 03:20 PM | The wild elf led the ogre through the brambles towards a shallow stream. "The little dragon should be able to find us, she can lead your friend." The sun light played up on the water and sprites could be seen flitting around. The elf would have loved to have spent some time talking and playing with the fey folk. She moved on and stepped in to the cool water. |
| Pintel01-23-04, 07:21 PM | Pintel is quick to follow the ogre as he trail blazes a way through the brush, once at the stream the mage pauses staring at the elf standing in the stream… “No wait! I’m not walking in the water …my, my extraordinary attire will get all muddled.” He looks up and down the waters edge. “Isn’t there some other way? Oh wait a moment my pouch; I have some tracklessness dust!” Pintel snatches a small leather bag from his belt pouch. "Follow the bank mister ogre, this dust will cover our tracks and we can move faster on land." |
| Milkhouse01-23-04, 09:43 PM | Milkhouse eventually lost sight of his dogs, his shrieking failing to call them in. Now where they get too I’s reckon? The Hill Giant mumbled as he stopped taking in a big whiff of air. M’mm …me smells someone, someone who stink real bad. Milk slowly looked around as he reached for his club that hung from his belt. As his eyes scanned the ground and brush they slowly drifted up to the tree tops. “Seal me in a cave and leave me to die! …It be a human bird!” |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai01-23-04, 11:42 PM | Either the undertoe was stronger than expected, or something was moving within the sandy buttom. Suddenly, however, it stopped, and a series of muffled curses could be heard... though the languege was hardly recognizable by anyone, these were daffinately curses. The water was shortly soiled with dirt arosed from the buttom, but it soon settled back, and the movement underneath did not seem to continue. |
| kulideb01-24-04, 06:09 AM | The water felt good as Emerald stood in the stream, she wriggled her toes, stirring up the sandy bottom. She waited while Pintel sorted him self out, then began to walk in the stream. May be the water would slow him down when his fancy pants got soaked she thought. |
| Nazrukh Darkfist01-24-04, 07:22 AM | As his eyes scanned the ground and brush they slowly drifted up to the tree tops. “Seal me in a cave and leave me to die! …It be a human bird!” Hoping he would pass by, the barbarian watched as the giant walked right underneath him and then looked up. “A pox on ya giant, I no bird ya fool!” With that Nazrukh leapt from the tree limbs as he drew his sword. Though a huge man, he was agile as a fairy, instantly swinging around a lower branch as his weapon glistened in the sun light. Clearing its sheath, the sound of metal rang out as he landed on the leaf packed surface below brandishing "Gomduris" before the giant. “What be your business trespasser?” |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai01-24-04, 10:07 AM | The same voice that sounded from beneath the water, now sounds from the bank, though now it's no longer muffled by the water and wet ground. A hole opens in the bank, just behind Emerald, and a bald head shows out. Eventually a stout figure climbs out and dusts itself. The gnome wears a chainmail, reaching his knees, which probably used to be scalemail: most of the scales are now gone, and only his back is protected by them. Under the chainmail is a white silken shirt, which bears some religeous insignia on it, yet the image is too obscured by the chainmail to make it out. The back of his head has a deep scar, actually exposing two of the neck's spinebones; He has many other scars as well. His head is completely bald, and so is his chin. On his face are tuffs of torn hair, probably remains of a mustach and sideburns. The left of his chest seems slightly pertruding, as if he either had an overdeveloped muscle there, or was hidng there some object. Overally he seems as muscular as a gnome could be without becoming ugly. His other features are there to make him ugly, instead. Over his forehead is a wide band of brown cloth, apparently bordered by two strings of metal. It circularily covers most of the space betuin his eies and the top of his head, passing just above the ears. He looks at the wild elf, and anyone else within his eyes' reach, without saying anything, his almost automatically-pronounced curses quickly growing silent and dying off. Once again, the languege they were spoken in sounds unfamiliar to probably anyone around. |
| kulideb01-24-04, 10:16 AM | The wild elf jumped to the bank, landing just next to Pintel and the ogre. She drew out her dagger and waited as some sort of gnome climbs out of a hole that had just opened up. She looked him over before speaking. "And just who might you be?" |
| Pintel01-24-04, 12:17 PM | Pintel quickly lifted his staff in a defensive posture as an odd being crawled from a hole. As Emerald jumped next to him, a sudden urge of chivalry swept over him as he stepped toward the gnome, “Yes! What she said creature …answer now!” |
| LOZ01-24-04, 02:29 PM | still invisible jliari follows Nazrukh. she didn't see why she needed to be here but she stayed anyway. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai01-25-04, 02:07 AM | The gnome's gaze, that first fell to the ground, to get slowly acomulated to the light, now goes from Pintel to Emerald and back a couple of times. "I might be a whole bunch of things, but you daffinately don't look like the six Broken Ones i am here to collect. Znakvhurr does not tolerate... anything, but he aspecially doesn't tolerate delaies in the supplying of merchandice he paied for. The entire hive waits for these Broken Ones, and if Znakvhurr will have to wake up the... hey, now that i think of it, you don't look like the ones who should have brought the Broken Ones hence. Who the hell are you, and where are the hive's paied providers?" He speaks quickly, but not too quickly for an averege person to follow, with some effort. His tone was casual at the begining, as if he actually expected complications in whatever deal he was here to play a role in, but his last sentance was filled with tence suspicion, and his tone was rather demanding. Seeing all the weapons he reaches with one hand into his larger-than-self backpack, and the with the other to his girdle. ~ These are sooo not the minions of that human mage, and we're sooo not getting our Broken Ones, and the Elder is soooo going to wake the Hivemother up... In contrast to the gnome's cowardly thoughts, his facial expression shows anger and steadyness. |
| kulideb01-25-04, 06:05 AM | Emerald was just getting used to being surprised when Pintel stepped out in front of her, from what she had seen so far of the man she had expected him to take a few steps backwards. "You may call me emerald." the wild elf said to the gnome. She dropped her hand with the dagger in it down to her side. "We won't harm you, as long as you dont try any thing." She moved over to the ogre to see how the halfelf was doing. "Has he spoken at all?" |
| Pintel01-25-04, 07:19 AM | Pintel stood there with a puzzled expression on his face as the gnome rambled on. “And I am Pintel archmage of Shadow Horn …we know nothing of those you seek, as a matter of fact we are being chased ourselves.” The mage lowers his staff but does not turn has gaze away from the gnome. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai01-25-04, 04:41 PM | "Oh, oh, i see..." the gnome scratches his chin, then his head, then looks over to the direction where Emerald turned. "Plus you've wounded men there... Tell you what: favor for a favor - i'll make sure the Greate Mother lifts anyone wounded off his pain, and if your tormentors catch up, i fight on your side, buuuuuuuut..." he rubs his hands one afgainst the other, then taps himself on the bulge at his left chest. "...But, fm, you all keep quiet about whre you met me, and offer me basic aid in finding what i'm here to find. Any objections?" the bald gnome lightly taps his foot against the ground, looking around. |
| kulideb01-25-04, 06:07 PM | Emerald crossed her arms and thought about the gnomes offer. She then held out her hand, just like she had seen some humans do when they make a deal. |
| Mechail01-28-04, 04:00 AM | (Nice, some good role players here ^^) (Kulideb, Mechail is silent still) |
| Milkhouse01-28-04, 02:28 PM | The Hill Giant is startled as the human jumps from the tree, before he knew it there was a large blade of steel pointed at him. Milkhouse quickly back stepped as he tripped over a log falling unto his back. It was then that his hounds came running up out of the brush, jumping all over him and licking his face. The giant tilted up his head and looked at the barbarian. “Ferocious beasts aren’t they?” |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai01-28-04, 04:29 PM | {{OOC:I was too lazy to read the entire thread, so if someone could describe me what my char sees as he aproaches the wounded, i'd be thankfull.}} Seeing that no one seems to contradict the elf's agreeance, the gnome reaches up and shakes her hand. "Hm, yes, though i though it'll be a different deal i'd be committing this day on the surface, this, considering the circumstances, is just as apropriate." He then dashes towards the tree, where the wounded ones lie. "Ah, let's see what we have here..." |
| coldstone01-28-04, 08:29 PM | The ogre can't believe his eyes ," Listen missy you aughtn't go make'n deals that say more than you can , Naz and I are taking this boy back and getting our gold . Another thing maybe your senses are clouded this creature reeks of enchantment among other things." The ogre turns to continue heading west. |
| Nazrukh Darkfist01-28-04, 09:58 PM | Naz looks over the giant with a puzzled expression as he steps toward him, his sword still held high. “I was expecting an unruly swing from yer club mister giant…” He smirks as the giant lays on the leafy ground, his hounds lapping at his face. “Not this!” The Barbarian lower his sword, “I be Nazrukh the Darkfist …who might you be dog keeper?” ooc:Quathmoir...The half-elf is not by a tree, he is being carried by the half-ogre. Except for a slight cut on his head we don't know what his problem is. |
| kulideb01-29-04, 02:47 PM | The wild elf looked cross, she jumped in front of the ogre her dagger drawn. "Put that elf down." she hissed. She took a few steps closer to the ogre a wild look in her eyes. |
| LOZ01-29-04, 03:52 PM | Jliari had not expected the giant to be friendly or the hounds. She turned visible and flew over to him "i'm Jliari " she said grinning. |
| coldstone01-29-04, 07:47 PM | Now, now, missy, no need to get so excited put that dagger away. The only person here going to get hurt is you. Now I’ve been patient so far but your pushing your luck, always it seems that the wood elves are so above it all, you ain’t so different than me and Naz. I may be a big dumb ogre who is in this just for the gold, but I’m sure you got your reasons for helping this here burden of mine. As he said this, the ogre put down the young half elf and started to move closer to the wood elf he raised himself up to his full height unslung his hammer and held his arms out wide, with a scowl on his face. |
| Milkhouse01-29-04, 09:02 PM | The Hill Giant looks up as he hears a voice on the air, his eyes widen as the dragon becomes visible. “Ah, ah …hello there.” He pushed his dogs away as he climbed to his feet. When back on his feet he towered over Nazrukh standing near twelve feet, his large mass was covered in animal hides with a wide belt across his mid-section. In his right hand he held a large wooden club and as he opened his mouth, you could see he was missing a few teeth from his smile. “My name is Melkhoose and this here is Cjar and Muek.” He looks toward the hounds as they fight over stick. “They’re pretty much harmless.” The newcomer's are quick to pick up that Melkhoose is a gentle soul trapped in an unsightly body. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai01-30-04, 02:22 AM | For a moment, the gnome thought he'll have a real problem: the one who now turned to be on the opposit side, and thus his target, as per the deal, had the wounded fellow. Using this person as a shield would make attempts to axe him, dreadbyte him, jav him, or even blink him too risky for the hostage; but now that he unconceous halfelf is laid to the ground... "Ah-ahm, sir, that stuff aside, the deal is already held, and i must notify you that declaring hostility to the missy will cause me to consider you hostyle, since my association had been maid with her alone. That kinda makes you subject to my axe, really. Nothong personal, ofcourse, but the tustworthyness of my word was always a credit to my masters, and will, ofcourse, remain so." With these words, siad in an almost appologizing voice, the gnome makes a wierd movement with his shoulders, causing the huge backpack to fall off. He runs around it, and pulls out a greataxe, with a very short handle. The handle suits his height, but the greataxe itself looks too large for him to wield it properly, inspite his apparent confidence. The gnome pulls a set of javelines from the backpacks cover, and laces it to his shoulder with a single movement. "That said, there are two on our side, and one on yours. The possible resolves of this situation are either the making of three on one side, or the making of less, at one or both sides. I, ofcourse, have no special preferacne to either option, but assuming you might, i felt it nessecery to clearify." The gnome clears his throat and moves into a combat position with the axe, by Emerald's side. Holding the handle with both his little hands, he somewhat provokes the question of WHAT does he intend to hurl his javelins with... |
| LOZ01-30-04, 03:39 AM | Jliari turned to Nazrukh "are we going to go and find the others?" she didn't see the point in staying any longer the giant didn't seem to be any threat to them. she turned back to the giant "Nice to meet you, and will you be joining us?" she flew around Nazrukh. still smiling. |
| Nazrukh Darkfist01-30-04, 05:53 AM | As the pleasantries continued Naz stopped at Jliari's query … “Oh yeah, the others …ah, Jliari can you quickly catch up with them and tell them to wait, we’ll be along shortly.” He then looked to the giant. “Well I mus’ be off to catch up with me friends, if ya’s like ya can join us.” With that the Barbarian sheathed his sword as the hounds ran up to him, petting them on the head and such he gave the hill giant one last invite. “Well Melkhoose, what ya say? …it’s always good to have someone around who speaks softly and carries a big stick.” |
| Pintel01-30-04, 06:20 AM | Pintel stood there in silence pondering the situation while the wild-elf made a deal with the gnome. Before he could react Emerald had a dagger drawn and the ogre wielded his hammer, with the scrawny gnome thrown in for good measure. The Archmage addresses the elf… “Now just hold on a moment there missy! …as much as I don’t care to take this ogre’s side in a fight I can’t let you harm him, as I believe this here gnome might be controlling your emotions through his trickery.” |
| LOZ01-30-04, 07:56 AM | "bye" jliari turned back invisible and flew off to find the others. Quite a few minutes later she found them. It looked asthough they were about to battle. she flew over to Emerald and turned back visible "hi i'm back and the other will be back soon, and whats going on and who is that she pointed at the gnome?" she said still smiling. She then flew over to the gnome and flew around him waiting for someone to answer her questions. |
| kulideb01-30-04, 02:48 PM | The wild elf looked as if some one had slapped her. "Now listen here you over grown goblin!, first of all I'm a WILD elf not a wood elf." She stood on tip toes and looked up in to the ogres face, she felt a lot more confident now that the gnome had said he was on her side. "Plus I found the halfelf first and until he comes round YOU arnt taking him any where." She lowered her self back down on to flat feet. "You can go if you want but the halfelf stays put!" The wildelf looked at the little dragon. "Hello, the gnome is a friend, and the ogre was just making his mind up if hes staying or going." |
| coldstone01-30-04, 08:25 PM | Wild elf, Wood elf, what’s the difference; stay go, I’m in a bit of a muddle. Since that little critter popped up out of the mud there, nothing seems to make any sense. I haven’t a mind for figuring I need Naz to help me sort this mess out. But I sure don’t need him to defend my own. At this moment he brought his huge hammer down with a mighty crash, that splintered a near by boulder to shards. More than anything this was a signal to his friend that he hoped was close enough to hear. Truth be told the ogre was trying to stall he was no fool, he new enough about wild elves to know that he wouldn’t stand a chance in a fight. Not that the ogre wasn’t mighty in battle, he and his hammer had stood many times at the front of a charging line and his roars had chilled the blood of his enemy. But the elf was much quicker than he and besides he had no real desire to hurt her he truly believed that she was being manipulated by the gnome. |
| Milkhouse01-30-04, 10:19 PM | Not one to have many plans, Melkhoose accepts the barbarians offer to tag along. "Sounds good to me, you can explain where were goin' on the way." With that the Hill Giant leaned his club on his shoulder and whistled for his hounds to take the lead, amazingly they listened this time ...as they seldom do. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai01-31-04, 01:56 AM | The gnome considered the ogre's arguments, and his final smash-statement. He himself heard of wild elves, but knew nothing about them, exept for the fact of theyr existance; none of his masters ever dealt with elves, and during the more roguish periods of his life {idest running from anything that moves and suffering the consequences of severe paranoya} he ran into sylvans, highs, greys, but never yet wilds. Ogres, however, were a different matter; these he ofrten found on either his own side or that of his "enemies", though he disliked the use of that word - his quarrels were seldom personal. Should a battle ocure, he, as always, counted mostly on his own ability; but he still considered combat unnecessery, and continued the one combat that's fought with words... or atleast mostly with words. "As i have just implied, you might wanna wait for that Figuring Naz of yours before you make any desidions. Aspecially desidions that may get you killed or maimed in the worst case, and anger... errr Nazir - that's his full name i assume? - by it's other possible consequences, in the best one. If you feel bloodshed is the only possible solution, even then we must wait for your master Nazir, seeing as your own ability, presented without his authority is..." To illustrate his words, the gnome faced the boulder crushed by his assumed opponent's hammer, and mumbled a phrase that sounded as if it was spokn by the throat alone, something like "grhutt khrygg gravhurr khrygnakk", while looking at the boulder's remains and making movements with his fingers, layn on the axe's handle, as if he was working with clay. The alien-sounding words were completely devoid of the usual official dryness of his voice, and were, to the contrary, filled with something along the lines of deep respect, devotion, or even admiration. Once the words were spoken, the bits of rock began moving, coming closer together, untill the boulder regained its wholeness. Moreover, it now accepted a different form than it had before being splinetered, and a much less natural one at that: it now resembles a perfect sphere, with a ring of eyelike bulges adorning its perimiter halfway above the middle, and a similar but much larger bulge forming right in the middle, facing the ogre. A wide crack runs under that central bulge, apparently one of the cracks caused by the innitial hammerstrike that broke the boulder apart, but apparently very symetrical. "...passing, to say the least." The gnome's fingers stopped moving, and regained firm grip on the greateaxe's unproportionally short handle. It was done in time, too, as it wouldn't be surprising to anyone, if the axe fell out of his hands while he was using them for another task. He actually thought of adding pieces of debris pertruding out of his "masterpiece", but desided against it: the sunbaskers wouldn't get it, simply, theyr intuitive mind would just... well, they just wouldn't get it! |
| Pintel01-31-04, 07:55 AM | The archmage just chuckled to him self as the gnome brandished his ancient magic. “Oh! …most impressive diminutive one.” Pintel spoke flavored with a pinch of sarcasm. “Now as I said,” and he turned to the ogre as well, “…There won’t be any crushing, stabbing or enchantment attacks until we revive this lad here and let him give a full explanation for him self!” |
| Nazrukh Darkfist01-31-04, 08:09 AM | Nazrukh turned to go as the giant’s dogs ran ahead chasing birds and small critters from the brush, turning back to Melkhoose. “Well I guess you don’t do much sneaking around with those two.” Naz let out a laugh or two… “Let’s pick up the pace, shall we?” With that the Barbarian started to trot back to the others. |
| kulideb01-31-04, 04:30 PM | The wild elf looked at the ogre, she knew she was quicker but he was much stronger. The gnome caught her attention as he worked magic on the smashed boulder. The fancy mage spoke, she stepped back away from the ogre and put her dagger away. "I must be under some enchantment, the fancy one is starting to make sence." she muttered. She ran a tattooed hand through her tangled hair as she thought for a few minutes. "We have tried to wake the halfelf, with out much success. We might as well let the gnome try. If the halfelf dies you can still take his body to try to claim the reward. If he wakes we can talk to him, and judge for our selves if he is guilty." She stopped and looked at the ogre. "If I think he is innocent they I will help protect him." she said in a warning tone. |
| coldstone01-31-04, 08:27 PM | Well miss that sounds to be the fairest words you’ve said in quite a piece. I can go along with that as right as rain. But you there stay right where I can see you .The ogre says this as he looks at the gnome. If you can help this lad go right ahead but no funny stuff or you and your magic rock will be in for more than you can guess. |
| LOZ02-01-04, 06:23 AM | "now we have that sorted, now what?"she said flying around. |
| kulideb02-01-04, 11:10 AM | The wild elf looked over to the faerydragon. "Now we let the gnome take a look at the halfelf." |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai02-01-04, 09:03 PM | While the other discussed the issue, the gnome did lean half an ear to them, but most of his attention was given to staring at the faerydragon. He never saw such a thing before, and due to his somewhat rough - to say the least - upbringing he was never even heard stories about feyfolk. Aspecially SUCH feyfolk. For no reason he could himself detect, a smile started sprading over his face, and when the ogre speaks his last sentance, the smile bloomed in a lough, which the gnome quickly suppressed. What made him lough was mostly the "magic stone" comment, but doubtlessly, most would think the loughter came in responce for the ogre's threat. The gnome didn't like that: he saw loughing at the threats or braggings of others to be predictable, therefor diplomatically worthless, and hence bad taste. "Well, see? Stuff can be resolved without fighting. And nope, it's funny when people die, not when they recover, so there won't be anything funny here." With that he plants the blade of his greateaxe in the ground, and sprints to the halfelf's body, lying him on his back, and spreading his to be more easily observable. "Now tell me, what did you try, and what didn't you? Did the sevant of some imperfect, mortal-minded deity try his gift on him? Did anyone make sure he isn't intoxicated, inflicted, magically subdued? Did anyone see the moment he quit all movement and became... <funny> as our big and reasonable colleague here would call it?" While waiting for the responce of those around him, he wastes no time, and draws out of his backpack an object that looks mostly like an edd, about the size of his head, with eyes painted around its perimeter byt an artistic hand. The object's composing material is hard to define: either very well polished stone, probably magically if so, or a metal of uncommon color, probably. He sets the object on the ground, treating it with much more ceremonial carefullness than anyone would expect from this ugly, dry-cold midget, and turns back to the party. "Well? Did you?" |
| coldstone02-01-04, 09:58 PM | I’ve done nothing to him but I can’t say as to what may have happen before we’s got here. But I do think that I know him so if you could do anything that might help the lad I would be in you’re debt little master and if there is anything that I could do to help you say the word. As the ogre is speaking to the gnome the great oaf is practically standing on top of the little fellow hunch over leaning on the hammer handle. |
| LOZ02-02-04, 08:06 AM | Jliari noticed the gnome staring at her"Whats your problem"she asked she thought it rather rude to stare and she felt annoyed so she turned invisible and flew around still listeing to the conversation. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai02-02-04, 01:52 PM | When the flying creature vanished from his sight, the gnome blinked, and quickly dismissed her as a halucination. Probably some rival hive was plotting against his, and in its members' cowardice, feared to confront them - or even him, theyr servant - directly; so the bustards must be sending halucinations to confuse him: he heard many stories about such tricks being tried on the Tyrants and shrugged off, and even felt somewhat proud to assume someone would try it against him. It was like being equated to his masters! "Greate, tending to a wounded, and no clerical touch, no herbs and potions, no healers, no nothing... oh well, you're lucky to have HER own minion, though a lowly one, stumble across you..." The gnome curled into a ball next to the halfelf's body, and started humming. The egglike object soundlessly cracked along its middle, and opened, releasing from the vertical crack a form that appeared larger than the "egg" could seem to contain. It was round, and floated in the air, slowly coming upwards, out of the "egg". It had a shape similar to the one this gnome's prayer gave to the crushed boulder, but it was obviously maid by the hand of a professionsal. It was a sphere of sylver, with the shapes of many eyes pertruding from its surface. Tiny pieces of something, that was probably supposed to mean broken weaponry and debris are all over the sphere {exept the eyes, naturally}, making up the outer level of its surface. The gnome mumbles some words in that same alien, throaty tongue, holding out a hand which he passes over the halfelf's body, not minding the ogric roof above him; He was used to operate under a solid sieling. The halfelf seemed to hardly bleed at all, but he could have suffered from blood spilling inside, if a vein was broken without his flesh being damaged from the outside. The gnome's current prayer asked the Greate Mother to undo any phisical wounds the halfelf could be tormented by. Next, the gnome's own body appeared to float less than an inch above the ground, as he pronounced another prayer, this one seeking to cure the fainted one's weak, imperfect body of any poisons or common deseases. In a final prayer, though he was already sweating from his communion with the ruthless godess, the gnome askeng the all-knowing matriarch of his masters for insight into the "patient"'s astral body, to discover wether any enchantment or curse lies on him. The fearsome silvery object returns to its egglike "case", which then closes over it and appears absolutely whole again. The gnome's body spreads on the ground, exhausted from the contact with such a power... he waits for the godess' eyes to look through his, showing him the results of his prayers. |
| kulideb02-05-04, 03:23 AM | The wild elf raised an eyebrow as the gnome curled up next to Mechail and began to hum. She crouched down so that she could see what the gnome was up to. Her hand went to her dagger when she saw the silver object, she felt uncomfortable about the way it was decorated., but she held off from doing any thing as the gnome didnt seem to be hurting the halfelf. |
| LOZ02-05-04, 11:44 AM | Jliari watched as the gnome did it's magic, she found it rather fascinating. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai02-05-04, 01:31 PM | For a moment it seems as though something gave the gnome an electric shock, but despite his obvious exhaustion from the contact with his godess, he seems to enjoy that feeling. The immages float into his mind along with a general feeling od the Greatge Mother's vision, and while the cut on the halfelf's head "blinked" and closed when he just began his preyers, now a full analysis of the reasons for this comatouse state is recieved. ~ Inner bloodshed - check, deseases/infections and mundane illness - check, phisical disfunction - check, magical influence - Interresting!!! Wow, this fool of a magician breaks the deal's terms, and now this fellow here, downed by his magic, is carried to the point of delivery by an ogre who could probably outwit one of theyr own mages, and an elf with different plans for the dummy. Let's see... the ogre might be one of the human's minion's, maybe one of the lackeys who were to bring the Broken Ones. I should discover wether the payment's delivery took place; if it did, then the wizard is playing a game, and is the enemy, and so are his minions; if not, then someone is playing a trick on both the Hive and that wizard, which means we're on one side for now. Not that i can discover that without a new communion, though - the place of payment is eighty kilometers form here. The gnome sits on the ground, looking up at the wildelf and the ogre; his confident, cocky-dry voice is now stained with wearyness, but also with curiosity: "Good news is he's clean: healthy as a bull, no poisons, no disfunctions, nothing wrong with his flesh. What you should not like is that he's enchanted, and i'm not meaning it in the nice way, too. Ofcourse, no enchantment can constitute an obstacle for Her Flawless Power, and thanks to her whim, releasing him of the bothersome charms he's under will be just a trivial matter. Another thing i don't like is the sigil of that enchantment; i recognize the caster's sigil, you see, and that's why before i proceed and tell you how we will dispell him, i expect you to tell me in detail of where you found him, and the cyrcumstances of his finding, as well as anything else you know of him. This will determin where you stand in relation to him and his... condition." The gnome looks at the two with a glance that hints he suspects them in knowing much more than they told him of this situation. He reaches for the "egg" into which the large figurine has now decended again, and pushes it back - with ceremonial gentleness - into his backpack, without getting up. He knows he wouldn't manage another series of active prayers now. |
| kulideb02-06-04, 04:10 PM | The tattooed elf felt relived at the news that Mechail was unhurt, but the news about an enchantment was a little unsetteling. She watched the gnome put the egg figurine away, then she stood up. "You can help him?" she said crossing her arms over her chest. She looked thought full for a few minutes. "I was sitting in a tree when I first saw him, not too far from here. He fell asleep, when he woke I asked him his name." She looked over to the fancy mage. "Two men came by, one went off but that one stayed." she said nodding over to Pintel. |
| Nazrukh Darkfist02-06-04, 08:27 PM | The Barbarian moves swiftly through the trees and low lying greenery as he closes in fast on the group still near the creek. As he breaks into the open he is surprised that they haven’t moved very far from their original meeting point. “Hey! what ya all doin’?” Just then the dogs come running in, panting heavily they rush for the water to drink. |
| Pintel02-07-04, 06:34 AM | The mage wears a surprised expression as the wild elf turns toward him. “Don’t look at me missy; he was in your company already when I found him.” He looks down at the gnome, “He is wanted for murder by the Elves of Glamirida, which is all I know except I don’t believe he did it, at least not consciously.” Pintel is interrupted as the barbarian storms out of the brush. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai02-08-04, 12:27 AM | The gnome hears the elf out and seems saticefied, but as soon as the wizard is mentiond, he turns to him, and freezes, staring hard in his eyes, not unlike a Pointer hound. He keeps staring this way while the mage speaks, and a few whole minutes afterwards. He Of No Name was never a good jusdge of caracture or truthfullness, but he learned that when he gave people that stare, they were convinved he is, and either spoke the truth, or showed obvious signs of uneasyness... ofcourse, this only workd with relative fools, but he believed there is a little fool in most people, and aspecially in humans. He found it hard to immagine a human without a large doze of foolishness... but the mage didn't show anything that would give the gnome an excuse to suspect he was lying. It couldn't be the dal-breaker anyway - no creature, even a human, is foolish enough to breake a deal, and then come without some major concealment and means of defence, escap routs, et c, to the place where half of the deal was supposed to take place. The midget was already turning to the ogre, about to remind him the question refered to all the present, and he is no exception, but then another person came into sight. After taking a moment to look the newcomr up and down, his gaze returns to the ogre, and so deos his voice: "Well then, come on, tell me, when and where did you stumble across him, and in detail, mind you, and tell if you were looking for him, and anything else you know of him, the more and the sooner you do - the sooner we start gathering what i need to lift the magix of him." For someone about the size of Coldstone's head, the gnome seems to have an inproportional amount of confidence in his own authority and importance. |
| Nazrukh Darkfist02-08-04, 07:37 AM | The Barbarian looks down toward the Gnome as he continues to interrogate the half-ogre. Naz quickly steps up… “Hold on there Stoney don’t ya be tellin’ this here squirt nothin’!” His gaze quickly passes the others ending on the leprechaun. “So, who ya be Noomy?!” |
| LOZ02-08-04, 09:28 AM | Jliari flew around Naz and then landed by pintel, "Oooh, some entertainment!" she said waiting for something to happen. she looked at the gnome then back at Naz. |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai02-09-04, 12:16 AM | As if to add yet another question to the flow of questions he already offered the ogre, the gnome continues at the same tone: "...And this, i assumme, is our friend Naz?" Turning to the human he answers dryly: "A representative of powers, in the way of which you wish not stand. Understanding as you are aquinted with the imposing master here, and probably seeing the burden he shares with these others for a time that isn't the first, these questions also refer to you. All who stand here have agreed that our common will is to have this halfbreed revive, and i will proceed to bring that will into action as soon as i recieve my answers. Your compatriot and the dagger-lady answered, and i wait for your friend and you to follow theyr example." While waiting for the responces of Coldstone and Nazrukh, his mind was poking at another {though indirectly related} issue: ~ No, it doesn't deserve the masters' prsonal attention yet, obviously. The way it seems for now, i can deal perfectly well with tht situation... but i really gotta know wether the payment took place. I ponder if one of these toolongs can be fooled into serving me as an errand-runner. I could give such a temporary minion the directions to the point of payment, and tell him to describe me everything he saw, that would keep the meaning of what he may see there safe from his understanding. If that young new adept stands there, with no sign for the human arcanist's people, then someone tricked us both. If none is there, or both sides are present, then the wizard's foolishness is at its peak, and it would be my duty to deliver punishment. The option of the mage's collectors being there, waiting, while his own college is missing never crossed his mind. Besides, he was too focused on thinking up waies to trick someone into obeying him and doing that "minor scouting job" as he himself would call it. |
| Mechail02-09-04, 08:30 AM | ...Then knowing exactly what to do and where to go – but having no idea of what that might just be Mechail went on his way… ...The guard was in such a good mood because of the upcoming celebration of the Princess 150st birthday that Mechail had no problems getting in the tower dressed simply as hisself, a smith... ...The Prince, Elnarion, son of Delarion, younger brother of Shalida, was alone in his room (what he could almost remember striked him as coincidental)... ...His escape route was none of which it sounded like... But did he ever hear anything ? Had there been questions or assignments at all ? The blackness surrounding him was not able to form an answer for him, or so he thought. Most of us would say the blackness is just that which you may not know and recognize. The slumberings and fever dreams of Mechail now obtain more power, as if they form visions who haunt him, growing stronger. There were flashes, he counted at least six of them now, some huge sort of ogre, the wizard, Emerald, the amazing fearie dragon, a barbarian human and some sort of gnome. They were not moving anymore, but they had been. He had smelled something as they traveled. ...It was a face and a place... ...the face is hidden in dark depths of some sort of cloak... ...the place was there where he had never been... ‘Look at me and tell me father ! Why did we have to fake my death ?! Why ?!’ Elnarion cried as he never cried while his father sat in his chair. Carrying two bags under his eyes, the Elven King sat almost motionless. Guards in the room could see him shake, Elnarion did not for he was too busy feeling sorry for hisself. But the King trembled by fear and exhaustion, doubt and deceit... (-Thank you all for your work on the thread, it seems to me we have a hell of a team. Unfortunately I have been away for some days, for this I apologize. It may happen again but I promise you it won’t be long. Hope you guys can do something with the information I give you with this post. Please remember that this info is directed to you as players and not to your characters, they know nothing of this, as far as we know ;) Have fun ! Mechail, Danny-) |
| kulideb02-11-04, 05:07 PM | The wild elf looked up as Naz came into view. "We are just trying to help the halfelf my friend. The gnome just wants to know more about him by asking us what we known." She sighed as if she was dealing with some small half witt child. |
| Nazrukh Darkfist02-11-04, 07:29 PM | The Barbarian’s right eye twitched a bit as he tried to interpret just exactly what the Gnome was trying to say. Nazrukh just shook his head… “Huh? Listen here mushroom head; all’s I know is that Stoney and me’s are taking this one here back for a reward.” He looks toward the wild she-elf… “I have no plans a helpin’ any ground dweller missy!” |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai02-12-04, 09:52 PM | The gnome looks at Nazrukh with a dropped jaw, and then turns to Coldstone with theatral disbelief on his face: "And you needed him to help you deside?! Right... the clever obey the incompetent, yes, i suppose this havd always been, and will always be the way things work in the orderless surface realms, hm. So, anyway, how about answering my questions now? Oh, and please explain your Nazir what we learnt about diplomatic solutions today." The gnome assumes the same tone Emerald used, appreciating the use of it being well-timed. Passing to that tone durng the sentance, which began in an exaggeratedly stunned intonation, and went through an arrogant tone, made him sound slightly confused, and he mentally poked himself for that. ~ Fmm, this one might just be a good possible minion... |
| kulideb02-13-04, 04:31 PM | A look of rage crossed the wild elfs face, her tattoos darkning. She drew out her dagger and moved closer to the halfelf. "No one is going to be taking him any where, you thick headed oaf!" Emeralds patients had just about gone. "Just let the gnome try to wake the halfelf." She said glaring at the barbarian. |
| LOZ02-13-04, 04:59 PM | Jliari flew around not knowing what to do. She then decided that she agreed with Emerald. She flew over to the barbarian "i think we should try and wake him" she said sternly "Then WE can decide on where the halfelf should be going" She flew over to the gnome and landed next to him. she stared at the barbarian waiting for a response. |
| Milkhouse02-13-04, 06:03 PM | The Hill Giant lagged behind, not one to rush into a crowd even of his own ilk let alone that of strangers. He waited and watched a bit hidden in the woods before deeming it safe to step out. As he did so he took note of his hounds drinking at the stream. The dogs looked up as they finally smelled the earthy scent of the gnome and quickly ran to him sniffing about. The hounds towered over the tiny troll as they made a fuss about him to the point of one lifted a leg in an attempt to relieve his now full bladder. |
| coldstone02-13-04, 08:59 PM | The ogre who by the way had no intention on answering any more of the gnomes questions when he saw the dogs and realized what was about to happen let out a thunderous laugh. “ I hope that doesn’t dampen your spirits little mushroom master”. |
| Pintel02-14-04, 07:20 AM | The archmage looked on in disbelief knowing now he should have stayed in Glamirida. Nothing ever good comes from being in the woods. He thought as now finding himself taking orders from a wild-elf and a gnome. City folk are the only ones you can trust, that’s for sure! Pintel is awakened from his thoughts as the two mangy mutts scamper about, then looking up spots the giant approaching. Speaking above everyone else, just in case they didn’t see the enormous being coming forth. “Ah …hello there my fine towering friend.” |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai02-15-04, 10:28 PM | "Wha... hey!" The gnome jumped aside, instantly losing his seriouse and imposing demeanor. He had to continue maneuring, or atleast he thought he has to, in order to avoid being the immense canines' pisspole. Eventually he climbs on the same bolder, which was earlier crushed by Coldstone and thn mended and reshaped by himself, to gain some height, which he assumes should make him less tempting as a doggish field-toilet. His gaze falls {as much as somthing can fall vertically upwards, and a long way upwards, at that} on the hill-giant, and he produces an appreciating whistle, seeing a large part of his diplomatic advantages has just been canceled. "Whooo! Now, if he's with you, then you really don't wanna know what i need for the disspelling ritual." At that moment, one of the dogs actually proves stubborn enough, and relieves itself on the boulder. The gnome glances hatefully at the insolent action, but is thankfull that he wasn't down there on the earth, where his pride would NOT be the only thing to get wet. Looking at everyone once again, he says, in the same dry voice: "Well, alright, i will suggest a compromize: one truthfull answer to one simple question from the three of you, and that's it. Agreed, or would that too, encumber your minds too badly?" Qith that said, he rubs his hands against each other, mumbling something. It may well appear like nothing more than a simple gesture of impatience, but in reality he was begging to his godess for the right to "see" lies for a short time. Blessed with that prayer, he should be able to clearly discern spoken truth from an attempt at mischief or a lie... only that the effect isn't likely to last for very long. The gnome's speach becomes hasty, and he quickly speaks to the ogre-human-giant trio, not waiting for heyr responce to his suggestion. "The question will be very simple: have you any relation, wether servitorial, commercial, or rivaling, with the human whose arcane signature is this?" While speaking this, he takes the dirty, bloody mancatcher from his belt, and with it draws a shape on the ground. This is the rune he saw during his communion, as a pointer to the one whose enchantment keeps the halfelf comatose; it is also the personal rune of the spellslinging human his masters had a deal with. Needless to say, the gnome does not explain any of it out loud to anyone. He feels greatefull to the Mother that the dogs aren't hurrying to ruin the drawing by stepping on it, or worse... {{OOC: Mechail: a DMing PM for each of the players, to say wether theyr char recognizes the rune, could be a good idea now. Others: Let's wait for the threadmaster to respond before going on.}} |
| Mechail02-18-04, 09:39 AM | (Senses tell me the barbarian and the half ogre might know more. Furthermore Pintel does not yet know he knows about the rune, but this will come later ^^) |
| Mechail05-16-04, 07:29 AM | ‘Look at me and tell me father ! Why did we have to fake my death ?! Why ?!’ Elnarion cried as he never cried while his father sat in his chair. Only, one thing though, I would like to give you players some more freedom, more than you already had yes ;) Since this world of Ventigora is still unexplored for the biggest part you can all desribe your homeplace as you know it, I will try and create a sort of map out of this and knit it together with my storyline. I'm very sorry for my long absence but as you see I am back. Hope to soon hear from you all. :) |
| kulideb05-16-04, 08:45 AM | Emerald watched the gnome. "Any good?" she asked. |
| Mechail05-19-04, 07:47 PM | Well, we don't seem to have a lot of fans Kulideb :( |
| Pintel05-20-04, 09:38 PM | Yeah, I think this thing is dead. :uh-huh: |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai05-21-04, 06:18 AM | We need Coldstone!:teach: |
| Mechail05-21-04, 08:50 AM | I noticed, Kulideb, Pintel and Quathmoir replied. I agree that we do need Coldstone, but in any event I think we could be able to proceed, just the four of us. I'll give them a couple of days extra. Let's hope Coldstone will show up. If not, I hope we can just go on and have a ball :D Pintel, nothing I create dies my friend ;) |
| kulideb05-21-04, 03:47 PM | Yepp I'm in and Loz is too.:D |
| Nazrukh Darkfist05-21-04, 05:24 PM | It seems the legends of old hold true. Once a thread begins it never truly ends. Shall we continue…yes! |
| coldstone05-23-04, 11:24 PM | So what we waiting for? My people say, that is the mountain ogres of the south, “Each step begins with a good journey”, or rather that ,” A journey with many steps is sure to be long”, no no that’s not it,”A journey where one steps in***##*#!”, oh bother lets just go |
| Quathmoir Dlaeh Issarhai05-24-04, 12:36 PM | Good, now that everyone are here, i would greatly appreciate it if Mechail would PM Naz and Coldstone the info they need in order to answer the gnome, so that we may all continue from where we started. He feels greatefull to the Mother that the dogs aren't hurrying to ruin the drawing by stepping on it, or worse... {{OOC: Mechail: a DMing PM for each of the players, to say wether theyr char recognizes the rune, could be a good idea now. Others: Let's wait for the threadmaster to respond before going on.}} |

| kulideb05-29-04, 12:20 PM | Emerald looked at the design the gnome had drawn out upon the ground. "I have never seen its like." she said. |
