To Clear The Mind [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-02-03, 01:35 AM She took what seemed to be the less travelled path that started from outside the Inn. It headed in the NorthEastern direction and she followed.

She let her wings and scales show again for she need not try to impress anyone or hide from anyone anymore.

She walked for 6 hours straight down that path and soon wandered into a clearing. She conjured up a secure shelter and then went hunting around in the area to find logs to set outside to sit on.

"Logs? Why would I need more than one log to sit on, no one else is here." she laughed at herself.

She continued to look for a nice sturdy log, never straying a mile from the shelter. Finally she finds one and seems to have no problem carrying it back to the secure shelter. She drops the log a foot infront of the building and then tests it out.

As she goes to sit on the log she falls over backwards with a loud "thud!"

Its a good thing no one is around to see that or I would be quite embarassed of myself! :rolleyes: I'm always so clumsy when others are not around and I'm thankful for that!" Again she couldn't help but laugh at herself.

11-02-03, 07:09 AM *A black raven emerges on the sky, flying playfully and relaxed. Its speed is vast, and suddenly it dives down from the heavens. It looks like a black lightning, if such has ever existed, because of its black feathers against the bright sky. After a moment, it lands gently on Loveah’s shoulder and starts making screeching noises.
When it looks at her and sees a confused expression, it tilts it head slightly as if trying to understand, why she can’t understand. Then it shrugs and a small note flies from its grasp, and down on the earth. Loveah can recognize it as the one she left at it, besides, that a name has been written on it with curling letters and unsteady movements*

“Sanctus”

*The raven start playing with her earlobe and then, it opens its beak and makes a low screeching noise again, but this time it have something in common with a word Loveah know*

“Coomiing!”

*The raven takes off and flies back where it came from, its wings glittering with the suns reflection. Only a few minutes after, a sound of leaves rustling and lush being stepped on emerges from the same direction. The maker of the noise enters the little glade soon after and Loveah recognize it as Sanctus, though his movements seem more steady and determined than when he first lost his eyesight*

“I send my raven to warn you of my coming, so that you would not be too… Surprised”

*After those words, he lowers his head and walks towards her, judging her position by the sound of the air going through her lungs. He settles on the log, next to her and turns so that she can see the guilt in his dead eyes*

“I am truly sorry that you had too see what happened in the inn. I did not want it, but I can only blame myself for the incidence; I should have never allowed her to get those thoughts…”

11-02-03, 10:34 AM She stands up seeing Sanctus, "I am glad to see you. Do not worry about what happened in the inn, it is not your fault." Seeing Sanctus she folds her wings up and they meld back with her skin so that they may go unnoticed to others. However she allows her scales to stay upon her skin, though not all of her skin is covered, just small patches.

"She wasn't your type anyway," a smile could be heard within her voice as she says that. "What brings you out this way Sanctus? Are you just travelling past, if you are then you can rest here as long as you would like." Her voice now sounding its usual warm, friendly, and caring tone.

11-02-03, 10:39 AM "I sought you, for you have revealed your wish of speaking with me alone, may it be with words or no words, I am here,"

*A smile emerges on his face*

"No, youre right, she werent my type"

11-02-03, 02:25 PM She smiles and mumbles softly, "Well, I guess that makes it easier on me."

In her normal speaking tone she asks him, "Please come sit down, for I have a lot to say." She grabs his hand and starts to lead him to the log that could easily fit four people sitting down.

"I just to want to say, no matter what I say, please wait til I finish to reply because this is difficult for me to tell you." her voice seems shaky like she's nervous.

11-02-03, 02:47 PM She nods, "Thank you. Okay, first the easy for me to say. I just wanted to appologize again for not mentioning to you earlier on about what I truely am, which is half-human and half-amethyst dragon. I am not a magic user either, I make my powers look like spells. I am a psion, people tend to fear me or hate me for what I am and that is why I never mentioned it. Now, this brings up the Wizardry school, that part was true. There were rumors of the school planning something that would cause major destruction on the psionic creatures. People were I am from counted on me going to defeat him, but I knew I wasn't strong enough even though they all thought I was. I went anyway to see what I could do and to make this a shorter story I end up getting caught. I was put in their magical prison and the only way I was able to escape was to turn one against the other and use my telekentic power to retrieve the keys from one of their belt pouches. From there I snuck out while they had started to fight then I couldn't stand to see them fight anymore and reversed the power so they became friends again. After that I had to escape quickly in order not to be caught again."

She looks at Sanctus for a minute, takes a deep breath and releases, then starts speaking again, "Now for the harder subject. When you did that protection thing to me before fighting the shadow it made me feel even more strongly about how I had already felt about you. I don't... um.. know if you return the feeling, but I have to let you know how I feel towards you. I really like you Sanctus, probably more than you will ever know and even more so that words can't describe." her voice throughout this is very shaky and sounds like she is having a hard time saying it.

"I knew from when I first saw.. Met you, that you were special. It have been a long time since such feelings have struck me, without pain being the unavoidable follower..

Nonethless, its what I feel for you now, Loveah. My heart pumps and my thoughts go wild every time I hear your voice, feel your skin and see your beauty.. I really miss it.. To see, I mean, and mostly to see you.. But maybe my loss of sight, will help me to understand persons without judging them by appearence..

In both ways that I have seen you, your beauty have shined over all I have met. Its hard for me to tell, but to narrow it down; I feel the same for you, Loveah.."

She thinks for a minute, "I could sort of help you out. I have a power that allows you see with lights. I know you won't see people and their details, but you could at least make out their shapes and where they are. I could even make it permanent, but it is up to you." She shrugs lightly as if gesturing it wasn't a big deal to her. "I don't mind you being not able to see. I will miss it yes, and I wish there was a way to reverse it."

She looks over to him and smiles, "So, now where or what do you plan on doing? I know I wouldn't mind just taking it easy for awhile before I plan on adventuring or finding somethng to do."

*Sanctus discovers that his voice was mocking a moment after the words have already left his mouth. He lowers his head again and run two hands through his hair*

"Im sorry, Loveah, I truly am. That was without reason.. I know you only want to help but.. I am rather sensitive around this topic..."

*Sanctus raises his head against and moves a little closer to her, on the log*

"How I will spend my days? In the wilderness I quess, striking and fighting, trying to adapt to the eternal darkness my eyes can never avoid,"

*A soft smile spreads across his face and the happiness in the smile, seems to spread to the pale eyes aswell, for the first time since he lost his vision*

"I dont really care how I spend the time, as long as I can be with the woman I love.."

*He leans his head further forward and his lips meets her's slightly; and he awaits the answer that will come with her movement*

11-02-03, 03:36 PM His actions surprises her, but she returns the kiss happily. She pulls back gently and smiles at what he had done. "Th..that was quite unexpected Sanctus, but thank you. I am willing to go wherever you go Sanctus, so just tell me and we will go." She sigh, "I am sorry for mentioning your...well..I am just sorry I said something. I am grateful that you lived through that though, I would have been very sad had you not have." She grows quiet now not really sure what to say but seems to be happy sitting next to him.

11-02-03, 03:45 PM *Radiating with happiness, Sanctus leans back too, hoping they they would soon grow more accustomed to kiss each other. He puts an arm around her waist and if his eyes could see, he would have noticed the beautiful horizon*

"Don't worry... I will learn to handle the topic soon enough.."

"I don't know where we should go.. I bet there's still a dozed adventures out there that could use a feeble-minded, blind mage and a half-dragon, psionic lady,"

*He smiles again and strokes her hair with one hand, while enjoying her presence*

11-02-03, 03:52 PM She smiles warmly at him stroking her hair, "Yes, I am sure there are plenty of adventuring. But you know what? I would like to try my hand at bounties, but perhaps that might be over my head." She thinks a moment, "Lets go join our friends at the tavern shall we? Perhaps we might overhear someone mentioning looking for adventurers or something." She stands waiitng for his reply.

"Yes, we probably should,"

*He smiles and turns his head towards her*

"I could do it quicker, if you want to avoid that tedious six hour walk. I can teleport us both there,"

11-02-03, 04:04 PM *He smiles warmly and without letting go of her hand, they both blurr out of reality. Moments later they emerge from nothing, just outside the inn. He smiles again and gestures her to enter first, as the gentleman he is ;)*
