SilverWolf 03-15-06, 10:27 PM	it is hard when you do not find any games that seem interesting enough, or popular enough to role-play in. i have my own forum... but the people there are not serious enough, and i find them frusterating. This is what i want... a good game. that is all. so, who here would be willing to help me create a good game, hmm? this is what i imagine. something dark, with a twist of high fantasy, lots of complex adventure. No hack and slash. so heres my idea. Twilight Shadow Under the City of Masks, a grand city bursting with the birth of a new social renassaince, lies the Guild of Twilight. Here, heroes gather, and together weave a tale. A tale of a new age. Anyone worthy may join, whether good or evil, no matter your background or occupation. They work to find the Twilight Mask, an artifact said to have the ability to grant the wishes of the wearer, and make their dream a reality. No one knows where it is, or what exactly it does, but some know more than others. The guild was formed by the prince of the land, a great knight and magic user. He wants to use the mask for a hidden purpose, although his intentions seem honest. This naturally would cause many to refuse to join, for they want the mask for themselves. That is why the prince declared that the group that brought the mask to him would be granted a wish, and given a chance to challenge him for the throne. As you can see, this adds a great deal of complexity to the story. Who exactly is this prince? What does he want the mask for, so desperately that he would gamble the throne for a chance to find it? After the smoke clears, only one true question remains. What would you do with the Twilight Mask? RULES: dont bother rolling stats or anything. i play 3.5 dnd, but roleplaying is best when left to a storytelling style. (at least this is what i have come across in online RP.) I happen to love writing stories, and that is actually what inspired my love of online RP. sooo, i would like to play with some people who also enjoy story-telling, and have at least some skill in it. Dont have to be a pro, hell im sure not. I just dont like two-sentence posts, see? if you are interested, post a response and a character when ready. NOTE: the way i play is that i also like to have my own character. I would start the main story, and keep it going, but a lot of it will be based on how our characters interact with the enviroment and each other. Reply if you have any questions.
Agudo Archmage 03-16-06, 01:54 AM	It does sound like fun and I do like Storytelling :cool: If I do play it will be with Agudo LG-Cleric/Wizard His Level is open to story need I am about to take on another story so if I delay in posting dont worry it just may take time
