| Sakris03-12-07, 05:02 PM | My friend wants to play a vampire, but 8 levels are too much for him... any suggestions? |
| Fwib03-12-07, 05:30 PM | Half-vampire? (Libris Mortis) (It can be like a vampire, but doesn't get the problematic abilities) |
| Sakris03-13-07, 03:28 AM | Nice, that would be a great template for his character. |
| FriendlyFrog03-13-07, 07:18 AM | There is also the Vampire template class (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20030824a), and it isn't quite clear if you have to take all levels of it. If the DM allows it, taking only a few levels is a lot better option than taking the whole template. |
| Sakris03-13-07, 12:40 PM | Also a nice suggestion... as a class he wanted to be a necromancer - any good ideas for a vampiric necromancer? |
| Echo_that_Pains03-13-07, 02:20 PM | Arcane - Dread Necromancer (HoH) - abiliy for undead to heal himself with own touch 1/round Divine - Evil cleric - change spells to inflict instead of heal |
| FriendlyFrog03-13-07, 02:24 PM | Here's (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=599129) a good thread on necromancy in general. Everyone playing a necromancy character should read through it! |
