the wizard must be Lv33
wiz10/Incantatrix23
feats: energy substitution, twin spell, split ray, energy admixture, empower spell, maximize spell, searing spell, ocullar spell.
Epic feats: enhance spell, intensify spell, increased spell capacity x5, improved metamagic x2

Polar ray 25d6
Substituted 25d6 (fire)
Enhanced 35d6
Intensified 420
Twin 840
Split 1680
Admixed 3360
Ocular 6720
Searing

Results:
Damage 6720 (no fire resistance allowed)
Cold type 13340
Fire Type 3360
======================================== =================

1) Nice spell, no save. the spell should be changed to fire, as youll see why later.
2)it gets an extra 10D6 from the enhance spell metamagic
3)use the instant metamagic to get the spell intensified.
4) with twin you get 2 for the price of 1
5) now you split rays and you should have 4 rays!
6) now its double elemental damage baby, admix it with fire again
7) now the ocular spell metamagic lets you place 2 spells inside each eye, and as a full-round action you cast both.
8) now make it a searing spell so the rays will ignore fire resistance, deal half damage on fire immune creatures and double damage on cold type creatures.
======================================== =================

This combo is still a baby, if anyone can help me improving the damage or maybe lessening the character level , feel free,
thanx :)

Unless I'm mistaken, you've managed to create laser-eye-beams. That is so cool!

Ofcourse I have nothing of value to add, but I just had to mention that...

In 3.0, the second spell created by a Twinned Spell didn't have any metamagic eats applied to it. I don't know if that changed in 3.5 or not.

I don't think Energy Admixture can apply fire to a fire spell.

Intensify Spell only intensifies the base damage of a spell, so it would be 300+10d6, and I'm not even sure that Enhance Spell can be combined with intensify spell.

Most of the above, if not all, is purely conjecture on my point, since I don't particularly feel like hunting through a dozen rulebooks to check sources. I'm sure somebody else will though, and I'm a bit sorry for not being able to offer anythign positive other than "Yea, Laser Eye Beams are cool."

Laser Eye Beams RULE! Cyclops in the house!

Energy Admixture works the way Poder described; see CA pg 78.

Excellent!

Shandrakor,
Sorry but cyclops dont qualify for the ocullar spell feat, you need to have at least 2 eyes. revolting

I don't think Energy Admixture can apply fire to a fire spell.

It can. You can admix any energy type to any energy spell.

I can check sources sometime today. Where's Ocular Spell from?

Congrats, it's a very cool idea.
And I might be wrong, but a ''turning-masta'' cleric could be good too, the Divine Drainer thread might help out.
The only problem I have with this is that the uber coolness of ray-shooting eyes isn't permanent :weep: ...

Unfortunaly my bahiano friend, there are two little problems I see in your build:

From Intensify Spell description in the epic SRD:
A character can’t combine the effects of this feat with any other feat that affects the variable, numeric effects of a spell.

This would bring your damage to half of it's value.
Further, Enhance Spell simply adds 10 (or 5 according to the spell) to your damage cap on certain spells, so your damage formula would become:

25d6 (base)
33d6 (after enhance)
66d6 (twin)
132d6 (split)
264d6 (admixture)
528d6 (occular)

1848 average damage, which isn't bad anyway!

a tradução do epic level vai ajudar os meus jogadores a fazerem essas monstruosidades cedo ou tarde... seu mestre vai chorar quando ver isso! huhu abraços.

Hell. That kind of damage isn't a monstrosity at epic. A level 21 primary spellcaster with Epic Spell and half a brain can do much higher damage than that. But again, kudos to the cool-factor.

Which just leaves one important question: Why in cthulu's name do you take 10 levels of wizard!?! Geometer, Fatespinner, Archmage, and Iot7FV are all better options than 5 additional levels of wizard.
