Just an idea..
throw a permanent shrinked block of solid stone ( original weight ca. 11,2 tons ) on a beholder with a big wide opened central eye....

(btw. is the antimagic field 10 feet in any direction ? - so just let it fall on the beholders head )

The antimagic field is projected as a cone, so not unless he was looking straight up.

There are other means of doing what your propose, however; magically shrunken items can be returned to their normal size by the caster.

but you can't throw a rock and end the shrinking in the same round, can't you ?

I'd say not, though conceivably one person could throw it and the caster dispel it; regardless, it's a better question for the spells board. I guarantee you this thing has come up a thousand times or so there.

You could, however, fly above the beholder holding the small rock and expand it -- I'd say the rock would force its way out of your fist as it expands. Keep in mind that you'll be exposed to all of the eyestalks while you do this.
