| jedrious09-13-05, 08:27 PM | if, you're just learning dnd and want to play a magic user, I highly suggest sorcerer, it'll allow you to learn a bit about the spells without having the initial headaches of preparation, I'd suggest enlisting the aide of someone that knows your DM's playing style to help you choose your spells, stats from highest to lowest Cha, Dex, Con, Wis, Int, Str |

| feintmaster09-14-05, 07:33 PM | I agree with Phoenix though, it may not be the best idea to choose that race first off, but theyre certainly fun to play. If you're an archer, you could do some kinda damage, with the Plunging shot feat, that is if you're 30 feet higher than the opponent. |
