I know this is not the correctforum for this posting, but the forum I posted it to has not gotten any results (posted it last night at 10PM EST and it is 9:27 AM EST now). So would any of you be able to help with this question? When a player is at 0 HPs and does strenuous activity (which includes spell casting) they are at -1 hp and dying. According to the rules the rules, this happens after the player does the action. RAW: "you take 1 point of damage after the completing the act. Unless your activity increased your hit points, you are now at -1 hit points, and you're dying "Healing that raises your hit points above 0 makes you fully functional again, just as if you'd never been reduced to 0 or fewer hit points." So my question. If a player is at 0 HP's, and he casts a healing spell (cure minor wounds) does he lose 1 hp? If he casts cure light wounds (getting 1d8+ CL) is that reduced by 1 point? Is there an official ruling somewhere? |
