Sir Alexander 01-18-04, 03:10 PM	Can anyone give me a level 10 build for a Scythe Expert? I realize 10 levels isn’t much, but my friend and brother wanted to do a fun little dungeon hack thing, but we have to try something new, so any ideas? I prefer a build centered on a Scythe, but anything fun will do.
Hanniball 01-18-04, 03:59 PM	feral anthropomorphic giant squid with a ring of sustenance... seriously, you really need to be more specific if you want us to help you. i can suggest a good weapon master build built around the scythe but i'm not sure if that's allowed in your campaign so...
Prism 01-18-04, 04:14 PM	Something like Ftr2/Rog3/Barb5 gives you 6 feats to play with, uncanny dodge II, Rage x2, evasion, sneak +2d6, +10 move, and trap sense +2. For feats I would take dodge, mobility, spring attack, wf scythe, power attack, hamstring.

Sir Alexander 01-18-04, 04:31 PM	I did try searching, couldnt find anything as it doesnt seem to work too well. Ok, for clarification, 3.5, Core, CW, BoED, plus some 3.0: FCS, Magic of Faerun, DoF, MotW, Psionics, blah. We have a very incomplete setup, but I am new to 3/3.5 and am just getting started. On templates, as long as they are within reason, nothing too crazy. Hope thats enough.
Hanniball 01-18-04, 04:59 PM	thank you kindly. now for a very basic build: Half-ogre Bar 2/Ftr 4/Frenzied berzerker 3 Feats: 1)intimidating rage 3)destructive rage 3)power attack (ftr bonus) 4)cleave (ftr bonus) 6)wpn focus: scythe 6)specialization: scythe (ftr bonus) 9)improved critical: scythe spend 10K on an item that emulates the extra rage feat or take it instead of wpn. specialization and grab a scythe with the following enchantments: +1, acidic burst, and shocking burst despite the general concensus that the "burst" enchantments are not worth it, i disagree. on a weapon that has a X4 critical multiplier dealing an additional 6D10 points of elemental damage is pretty good. kill bodies with your 10 ft. reach and uber strength. as i said, basic but highly effective
der_gogo 01-18-04, 05:11 PM	If you really want to center around 1 weapon, you could take the Kensai PrC. Just find some way to get Diplomacy 5 ranks... Maybe Paladin1/Figther4/Kensai5 You get W.Focus/Specialisation/Improved Crit (Scythe) And your weapon can be +5 equivalent... nice...
