fatlosermatt 03-08-05, 04:58 PM	I'm looking for a build that can get me 10 "bonus feats" (eg ftr bonus feats, the monk bonus feats), not class features (ranger evasion). in the first 6 levels. restrictions; Most WotC books (see below) are allowed, including 3.0 stuff that hasn't been updated. No Dragon magazine. Books not allowed: Unearthed Arcana no Psionics material. no flaws this is a big challenge. I haven't been able to do it. I can get 9...as follows Human Monk2/ftr4 using the OA rule that monk feats can be swapped for any other martial arts feat. I'd feel good if it were impossible, but i'd feel even better if it were possible. if not, any ideas for the most feats in 9 levels?

carnivore 03-08-05, 05:20 PM	im just guessing......hes talking about Total # of feats, so how about: Ranger 1 Track ranger 2 rapid shot cleric(war(feat -martial weapon proficiency(bow)and weapon focus(bow)/ time(feat-improved initiative) monk 1 improved unarmed strike, stunning fist monk 2 deflect arrows swashbuckler 1 weapon finesse oh well only 9 bonus feats in 6 levels,.........total feats if human 13 feats in 6 lvls :D
DM Denubis 03-08-05, 05:25 PM	Nothing on earth will get you ten bonus feats in six levels. That's more than one feat per level... The best I can offer you is... Fighter 2 Martial Monk 2 Psionic Warrior 2 Which will get you to ten total feats in six levels, IF you're human. (Human + 3 for levels + 6 for three two level dips.) Of course, you can't use psionics, or Unearthed Arcana for feat rogue, so I'd say it's not happening. However, there might be someone around here who can do it.

Martial Monk 2- 2 bonus Feats and Improved Unarmed Strike Fighter 2- 2 Bonus Feats Cleric 1- War Domain (1 Bonus Feat), Time Domain (1 Bonus Feat) SwashBuckler- Weapon Finesse or Samurai (EWP-Bastard Sword) or Wizard (Scribe Scroll- if your allowed UA you could make it a Fighter Feat instead :P ) Human= 1 Levels= 3 Fighter= 2 Monk =3 Cleric = 2 Swashbuckler or Samurai or Wizard=1 12 Feats (If you count the Wep prof gained by the War domain and Stunning Fist for the Monk than it is 14 Feats)
ninjapirate_6 03-08-05, 05:31 PM	I can tell you're counting level-based feats, so a Fighter 2/Psywarrior 2/Monk 3 will get you 10, 11 if human.

fatlosermatt 03-08-05, 05:39 PM	you're right. I did mean total feats. The problem with psychic warrior is that psionics are not allowed..... I'm trying to get 10 feats in 6 levels, but they're not feats granted by cleric domains, and they're not feats granted by any class (Except the monk) i need: Dodge Mobility Power Attack Combat Expertise Combat Reflexes Deft Opportunist Imp. Toughness Karmic Strike Exotic Weapon Proficiency (jovar) Sidestep sorry about the confusion

I'll try to get as close as i can: Exoticist (4 Free Exotic weapons-take the Jovar) -Dodge, Power Attack, Combat Reflexes Exoticist 2- Combat Expertise Martial Monk 1- Mobility, Sidestep Martial Monk 2- Karmic Strike Exoticist 3 Exoticist 4- Deft oppurtunist, Imp Toughness Yikes just did it! (You might have to rearange those depending on BAB pre reqs and whatnot but all 10 are there, also might have to rearange depending on what can be taken as a Fighter feat or not. Sorry don't have all those books handy, doing it off the top of my head) -Lavis

rilem 03-08-05, 06:04 PM	Hm, I could do it in 7 levels (depending on the prereq's for sidestep). But 6 is tricky without Dragon (that's where exoticist is from, right?). Anybody know the restrictions on the Wu Jen's bonus feat? This is a long shot, but it's all I can think of right now.

Ftr 1(1): Start with VoP, Bonus Exalted Feat, Human Bonus Feat, Ftr Bonus feat Ftr 2(2): Bonus feat Monk 1(3): Imp Strike, Stunning Fist Monk 2(4): Deflect arrows Cleric 1(5): War Domain: Wpn Focus & Rune Domain Scribe Scroll Ranger 1(6): Track Feats From levels 3 and 6 Total feats at lvl 6: 13
