| Lyinginbedmon08-16-06, 09:55 PM | Basically, I'm making a 10th level Dread Necromancer NPC, and I'm basing him around strong defensive undead and dreams (Oneiromancy, basically). The problem is, he has to stay 10th level and he needs to be able to cast the 7th level spell, dream sight. Now, ideally he should have Undead Mastery from 8th level, but I'm willing to go lower, basically I just need to get another 4 effective levels of spellcasting to get this spell, using the books listed in my signature. Any thoughts? |

There are some pretty convoluted feats of rules juggling out there that might pull this off (the whole Heighten Spell/Sanctum Spell/Extra spell schtick comes to mind,) but I think they'd be a pretty tough sell for most DMs. |
