Finally got the comlete warrior for the updated SSw, but I still got some questions

My DM didn't allow Incantatrix, so I have to do the following plan:
Ftr1 =>wiz5 =>EK 1 => SSw (5 or 10) => EK until level20

5 SSw
-20 % ASF
Channel spell 3/day
CL +3
Final CL 16 (two 8th, three 7th, So I could do cool things with quickened Dementional Door and stuff)

10 SSw
-30% ASF
Channel Spell 5/day
CL +5
May channel two spells at once
Final CL 13(one 7th level spell only, which MUST be greater teleport)

Does it worth to get the full 10 levels of SSw?
Are there anything that I haven't considered?
Besides, what feats should I take?

Current stat:
str 18
dex 14
con 14
con 18
wis 8
cha 8

human Ftr1/Wiz1(Should have my 3rd level afew days later)
Feats:
S.F. Trans
S.F. Evoc
Improved Intiative

10 level of SpellSword lets you channel 2 spells into your sword which go off consecutively. Which can be pretty cool if you pack that baby w/the right stuff....oooh you got the right stuff baby. (nevermind)

2 enervations (3rd or 4th lvl) (maximize or twinned or BOTH!) will rip the hell out of most people. Even basic it provides 2-8 neg. levels. Twinned it is 4-16, maximized 8, both 16!!! All w/no save!!!! WOW!

Did this on a PC...he cried.

Don't get that Fighter level, take the feat, Militia instead.
Then get one level of Dragonslayer (Iron Will and Dodge), which gives you immunity to Fear plus good saves, and all weapons and armor as proficiency.
THEN get Spellsword. I think Eldritch Knight is crap.

As far as 10 levels of Spellsword, it can be very nice, but most people do not like the loss of caster levels. You really only need 6 levels of it at max.

Can this be stacked with a spell-storing sword? :D

enervation does 1d4 neg. levels w/no save but must overcome SR. It's in the PHB.

I have no clue if that stacks w/a spell storing weapon? Perhaps? If it did you could do 2 twinned maximized enervations (10 spellsword) + a normal enervation (spell storing) and possibly knock out a 20th lvl character in 1 hit?

I really have no clue if that works. But if it did you could just keep the charged up sword on you, when you see a big bad guy or whoever pull it out, cast true strike and bean the hell out of them.

if you are of evil alignment specifically (le) you could look into knight of thorn nets you full spell casting 3/4 bab and a bunch of other goodies, so i would do something like this it's called the evoker blade (of course you could always make a good version or what have you as long as your dm allows it)

wiz6/figher1/spellsword5/knightofthorn8

this nets you a total ignore spell failure of 45% if my math is right (which is plenty enough for a full plate + a shield doesn't even have to be mithril)

it grants you caster level of 17 and it grants you a bab of 14 which isn't too shabby...., if you go epic you can finish the class and get the understanding special ability which nets you your caster level for attack/ac/skillcheck or save I believe it lasts one round...(it's called cosmic understanding)

Last night, I've finally got the more detail story of slaying a dragon of the same level solo. He used the 10 SSw build.

He lured the dragon into a cave (Large enough for the dragon to enter, but not able fly inside), casted Dimensional Anchor on the dragon. Then get close and slash a few times with his double-maximized-vampiric-touched-sword, with quickened true strike. Then he suddenly found that the dragon was dead. He then check his own body and found 'Ouch!!! My fingernail is broken!' (He had taken only 2 points of net damage after the vampire touch life bonus ;)

However It does not work on a SSw at Lv20
enervations is level 4, twined +4 which already is 8h(well, I can do with my 5 SSw build) Maximized +3 which is 11

What's the level when you did it? and with a 10 SSw build?

okay, looking for a way to make this feasible.
can you use a metamagic rod when you channel the spells into the weapon?
if so, can you use two metamagic rods on the same spell?
if so, is there a way to use 3 metamagic rods at one time (to empower the spell at the same time? at this point you might just empower the spell on your own.

just my 2 cp

Are you aware that dragons are creatures with high intelligence scores and hundreds years of age? Damn, if i were a dragon i would never ever fall for that and i am only 20 years old with an average int.

Anyway, a well built dragon can kick the butt of such character by breathing and flying all the time. He could also just rush with Lion's pounce, arcane strike and improved rapidstrike, ouch. Grapple, ouch. Nasty spellcasting, ouch. hundreds of hit points, high ac, high saves, spellcasting, spell resistance, frightful presence, powerful melee attacks, great mobility, reach, high bab, lots of feats, breath weapons, special powers. Damn, dragons are, in general, the most powerful creatures in the game for their CR. Unless, of course, you are talking about wyrmlings... That's another story.

EDIT: I got it now. The dragon must have slipped thru that Dementional Door someone talked about on the 1st post ;p

about doing it to a PC I did the 2 normal enervations in a sword and rolled 2 4's blasting 8 levels off a lvl 12 character w/a template. He was effectively down to lvl 2 which made him moan like nothing else...it was grand.

The twinned idea came later, and if i ever sit down and find a way to work out the math i'll def. have this guy come back and take another swing. After that lvl loss the entire party ran away asap.
