Would a 10th level Green Star Adept with a Fast Healing ability be able to benefit from it?

The GSA no longer "heals", it repairs : "...no longer heals damage... or benifits from effects that heal LIVING creatures"

Now if you had fast healing due to the stuff you were made out of that would work. Shade template gets fast healing in shadows from basically drawing in shadow stuff to "repair/heal" itself. So if you were a GSA with a shadow creature template that MIGHT work though its not really RAW.

I guess since you have no con score, you have no metabolism and thus, fast healing no longer works on you.

I believe so. No metabolism - pah! look at the vampire template (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/vampire.htm) - Fast Healing 5 - an they're undead, then don't really have a metabolism either. And there are some constructs in the Fiend Folio which have up to fast healing 20 (The Varakhut - an inevitable). So yes, it would work.

RAW, no because fast healing effects living beings and therefore GSA doesn't gain the benefits since he specifically says he doesn't. However, it'd be easy to convince any sane DM otherwise, just point him to constructs that have fast healing.

See, I was thinking that feast healing would work as well, because, it also works on constructs and undead, as well as living opponents.

On the other hand, cure spells and heal wouldn't work because they specifically target living creatures.

I think the wording was meant to restrict healing that specifically targets livings creatures.

fast healing
A creature with the fast healing special quality (extraordinary) regains hit points at an exceptionally fast rate, usually 1 or more hit points per round, as given in the creature's entry (for example, a cave troll has fast healing 8). Except where noted here, fast healing is just like natural healing (see page 146 of the Player's Handbook). Fast healing does not restore hit points lost from starvation, thirst, or suffocation, and it does not allow a creature to regrow lost body parts. Unless otherwise stated, it does not allow lost body parts to be reattached.

A creature that has taken both nonlethal and lethal damage heals the nonlethal damage first.

Fast healing does not increase the number of hit points regained when a creature polymorphs.

Construct Type Traits:
Cannot heal damage on their own, but often can be repaired by exposing them to a certain kind of effect (see the creature's description for details) or through the use of the Craft Construct feat (see page 303). A construct with the fast healing special quality still benefits from that quality.

Wait.
Green Star Adept 10th - Rapid Repair!!

Okay so Green Star Adept 10th under Emerald Pefection says they can't heal on their own then the very next ability listed (Rapid Repair) allows them to heal on their own.

Constructs can't heal on their own (no natural healing?). Fast Healing is like natural healing but Constructs still benefit from the ability if they have it.

The Shield Guardian (MM) has Fast Healing. A Green Star Adept has something similar to natural healing and he's a Construct and allowed to benefit from having Fast Healing.

No related limitations in Nonabilities (CON) or CON.

BUT by RAW, since under Emerald Perfection it does say "and receives no benefit from spells or effects that heal living creatures" Fast Healing isn't allowed. Neither would a Wish work because it would heal a living creature. Even worse, by RAW (I love using it like a club), they would never receive any benefit from any use of the Wish spell because it's one of the spells "that heal living creatures."

So, what's your decision?

So, what's your decision?

Based upon your extreme example from wish and the fact that part of the traits from construct specifically allow them to benifit from fast healing, I would say fast healing works.

My guess is they accidentally left out the word only, as in effects that only heal living creatures.

I guess since you have no con score, you have no metabolism and thus, fast healing no longer works on you. That's how they rationalize Regeneration - no Con score, no regeneration. However plenty of Undead and Constructs have fast healing, especially in epic levels.
