| Lupo Ladron05-18-05, 05:13 PM | I am about to embark on a side campaign within a larger campaign that I already play a druid in. One of out regular players is going to be playing softball on our regular game night, so our DM is putting together this side campaign so his rogue can keep up with the rest of us when he returns. The mission of the campaign is going to be his character trying to take over the thieves' guild within the town of Lyrabar. The town is in turmoil because Ilmater was killed by Magubliyet (the goblin god) and the church thinks this is a good time to take over, because the thieves' guild will inevitably try to fill in the power vacuum left by the now less powerful paladins. The guy I am playing with plays a 1st level sorcerer/ 9th level rogue who is moving towards becoming a shadowdancer. I play a druid in the main campaign, but want to play something completely different for this one. My character's purpose is to watch over the rogue to make sure he does what is in the church's best interest. What kind of character can I roll up that can smash some rogues, and likely has some levels of rogue to move smoothly within the theives' guild. Thanks in advance for the help. |

What books are available? ---- Assuming you will be part of the church...something using the Nightsong X from CV could be fun to play. Cheers, Zeb |
