(I moved this from "Whats a Player to do?" to this forum, hopefully this will be more helpful)

Ok, before I get flamed, I need to say that I REALLY, REALLY need a munchkin character. Here is why- game description by my GM:
======================================== ================

Champions of the Munchin Guild

Welcome to PERILTOWN, a moderate-sized little hamlet located deep in the Deathshroud Forest, but not far enough away from the Killblister Desert that it doesn't get the occasional raping by Purple Worms.

It's story is a strange, sad, and convoluted one. Once it was a normal town, with normal people going about their daily lives in a normal fashion. It had a stable economy, with steady trade going to Fortuneless City in the north and Plaguerat bay in the south.

Then came the adventurers.

In an otherwise stable, sane world, the adventurers were a total anomally. The poor townsfolk were expected to maintain a normal, functioning society — running shops and hospitals, making fine and beautiful treasures, and paying taxes, while Adventurers ran amok among them, taking whatever they wanted and acting as they liked — slaughtering and pillaging without care or constraint to further their quest for glory, prestige, and grotesque amounts of treasure.

Despairing of ever forcing players to behave decently, the townsfolk of Periltown secretly pooled together their money to fund nearby monster hordes and evil Lich masterminds, equiping them with enough high-priced items to push them waaay over their regular challenge rating. The plan worked--within a week, 90% of their adventurers were rotting in a pit with a goblin's +3 spear of wounding in their guts.

Sadly, the plan backfired. Greedy monsters being greedy monsters, they began assaulting Periltown with ten times their original ferocity. No longer content to send the occasional raiding party of 6 goblins to be easily mowed down by low-level adventurers or the town guard, they began to unleash a motherload of pain.

Periltown, reeling under blow after shameful blow, stooped to the ultimate possible disgrace. Realizing there was no way normal folk could defeat such evil hordes, the townsfolk again pooled a fund to begin the soon-famed Munchin Guild, and sent heralds out to the four corners of the world to summon the greediest, vanest, most rapacious munchins to ever blemish the material realm...

Champions of the Munchin Guild is a game designed to fully exploit what most games try to contain--players being cheap munchkin bastards. Players have 12 levels to build the most unfair character ever, using whatever source material they desire (Book of Vile Darkness and Exulted Deeds are good breaking-points to explore). Silly things like Monster class levels are allowed. Players are given 30 attribute points to distribute in the most min-maxed way imaginable.

Munchkins start out together on adventures. It's unlikely they'll actually break into fights without a reason, but remember--each Munchkin is concerned foremost with his own fame, glory, and richness. If an ally just happens to be clinging from a cliff edge, in need of a "hand", well, that might be the perfect time to remember the exotic bird in the tree a few hundred yards away.

After each succesful adventure, Munchkins parade around town discussing their various exploits. The Munchkin Guild is quite a media event (Munchkins are the most adept boasters around, so if they live to 10th level they tend to have quite a fan following). But it's a cutthroat business--at the end of each media event, the Munchkin who sold himself the least well gets voted out of Periltown by the crowd!

In general, this bitter Munchkin then seeks revenge on the others. If he's smart, he might join with the next evil monster lord. If not, he might just squat in a bush in an attempt to kill his former allies.

Champions of the Munchin Guild welcomes metagaming. Walking into a room, not seeing anything, turning around, and proclaiming "Wait--I think I just failed a spot check!" is completely in-line. Making a force-wall shield with a 2-inch opening at the bottom and casting fireballs through it untill all enemies are burning crisps is A-Okay. Hulking Hurlers are right in there.

So enjoy screwing over your friends. There can be only one... Champion of the Munchin Guild!

======================================== ==================

So, I need the dirtiest, strongest, most backstabbing munchkin character ever made to compete in this no bars contest of doom. That being said, any class configuration, any race (including monsters, undead, and exotic), and any equipment AS LONG AS they can be found in published works of 3.5 D&D and affordable for a starting 12th level character. Basic rules are:

Ok, here are the rules:

12 levels of any combination of classes/prestiges (max of three classes of course) with them being found in published WOTC books (includes exalted, vile deeds, etc... nothing home brewed)
Starts with 88,000 gold
Any race, although level adjustments for the more powerful templates
Be munchkin'

Thank you in advance and hopefully something will come up better than what I've been racking my mind with.

This sounds like a job for Pun-Pun, the UBER Kobold! Don't have a link for you, sorry. Someone will get it for you, though.

Pun-Pun will do the trick.

Heh. That's the first time I've seen a post on these boards with a title involving the word munchkin that hasn't been ignorant & offensive

Ok, I showed my Pun-pun build to the GM. He looked at it for a moment until his eyes hit the possible stats Mr. Pun-pun can reach. That being said, I need a new character that doesn't have a recursive permanent boost loop or a way to go infinite. Sooo... I am thinking about a Cleric who will be the only healing in town after the town healer, the town alchemist, etc. go missing mysteriously.

So, what kind of level 12 cleric should I go with? What prestiges to tack on? What deity domains to run with (I can pick and them actually)? Gear?

Please help and thanks to those who do!

This should be added to Pun-Pun's list of achievements.

"Too munchkin for the Munchkin Guild." :)

If I wanted to break the ever-living heck out of a level 12 character (but not achieve Pun-Pun levels,) it would most likely be an Artificer.

Would your DM go for a character who doesn't have infinite stats, but can achieve them through the use of magic?

I immediately thought of The Cheater of Mystra (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=248239&page=1&pp=30) when you mentioned Cleric, but I haven't looked into the effectivess at 12th level.

I thought cheater of Mystra only gets really good at 13 and 14, when most of the persistant abilities kick in?

Anyway, if I were you, I would sort the forum by most viewed... that would give you some idea of a few fun builds. ;)

I don't know if it will be crazy enough, but you might look through this (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=498609) thread. Just add magic items, lol.

Y'know, a Warforged Monk/Soul Eater would be fun. Soul Eater is a great PrC; it gets full BAB, all good saves, and abilities that are out of this world. Every one of your attacks drains levels, and gives you benefits. Just turn the entire town into wights and order them to vote your friends out! It's not the most munchkin of munchkin builds, but I really, really like the Soul Eater. :D It dissapoints me that one cannot be an undead SE though; an Illithid Vampire who sucks your brain, blood and soul at the same time is too cool for words...
Oh yeah, and Warforged don't sleep. Your companions sleep, right? Heh. Make them fear the night!

chaotic evil half farspawn human fighter 2 / hexblade 3 / soul eater 1 / warshaper 2 (http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=7210563&postcount=76)

just add the 2 warshaper levels (you qualify with the shapechange ability of the farhalfspawn) and use your +1 stat to add to your charisma, not that you need it. get charisma, dex boosting items & a cloak of resistance (+X all saves) instead of that silly armor, in that order of importance. this will make sure you dont have to use your mettle, though it's real nice.

new BAB +7 / +2

shape change lets you qualify for warshaper.

morphic immunities, morphic weapon (use to give you a bite) + morphic reach

4 tentacles, 2 unarmed BAB + 1 offhand, 1 bite attack (morphic weapon)= 8 touch attacks of level draining with 10ft reach. if your buddies **** you off, give em a pat on the back and tell them to run.

all in all, munchkin-y enough. moreso you can get an item of greater invis made by a 7th level assassin for 56k (this should actually be #1 on your list of "to get" items). run around invisible making level draining touches and no one would be the wiser :D
