| Shadow847211-10-03, 07:27 PM | All right, so my 13th level Fighter/Barbarian, bought it bad. Its fine, Gork was stupid and I was getting frustrated with him anyways. So, I built a 13th level replacement and well... Here's Dynmora: Levels: Rogue 5, Theif Acrobat 8 Race: Elf Alignment: Chaotic Good Attributes: Str: 15 (+2) Dex: 22 (+6) Con: 16 (+3) Int: 17 (+3) Wis: 14 (+2) Cha: 14 (+2) Saves: Fort: 6 Reflex: 16 Will: 5 AC: 21 HP: 87 Skills - (To save space, I'm just going to post the skills that have totals and what that total is) Balance: 22 Bluff: 18 Climb: 16 Diplomacy: 16 Escape Artist: 20 Hide/Move silently*: 22 Jump: 18 Listen: 18 Open Lock: 18 Perform (Dance): 7 Search/Spot*: 16 Tumble: 22 *My DM considers Hide and Move Silently as the same skill, much like he does Search and Spot. Special Abilities: Cartwheel Charge Defensive Fighting Bonus Defensive Roll Evasion Fast Balance Fast Climb Kip Up Improved Evasion Slow Fall (30 feet) Sneak Attack Trap Finding Tap Sense +1 Unbound Leap Uncanny Dodge Feats: Combat Reflexes Dodge Flick of the Wrist Improved Trip (free) Precise Shot Weapon Finesse Weapons: Rapier of Wounding (8,320 GP) Shocking Burst Composite Short Bow +2 (Basic Arrow Amunition) (8,525 GP) Items: Bracers of Armor +4 (16,000 GP) Ring of Proection +1 (2,000 GP) 155 GP left over. Details: I have 35,000 GP to spend on items, weapons, equipment. Plans: Ideally I'd like to take the 9th and 10th level of Thief Acrobat and then take the Shadowdancer prestige class. The DM has been running this game with eyes and intent to go Epic and beyond. So acquiring the levels won't be too much of a problem. Once I've taken enough levels of shadowdancer to please me, I'd go back and fill out the rogue. I need to keep Dynmora unique. I don't want a hack and slash character and as a rogue, she won't be, I know I'll have to strategize with her, which is perfectly fine. Concerns: First (and probably most important)- There is a massive debate among my group as to whether I should focus more on the Melee aspect, or the Ranged aspect. The group currently consists of a Troll fighter, pixie druid, Thrikreen Ranger, Elven Geomancer, Gnome archetect, and the Late Half-Orc Fighter/Barbarian (My previous character) Second - Feats? What should I drop and take in its place. I know I'll need to take mobility to go shadowdancer. And Its been suggested that Spring attack would also be good. However that requries mobility. Third- Any other suggestions or issues you see occuring. What I'm willing to do: Just about anything short of completley rebuilding. I haven't played this character yet so items can get traded in at value. We have 35,000 GP to play with and Magic items are a MUST for this party and campaign. It would not be my first choice, but I would be willing to go back and readjust the levels taken. I welcome any and all constructive comments. iF you want to chat with me in a more real time setting, E-mail me (Shadow359@hotmail.com) or IM me on AIM (Shadow8472). Please be sure to note that you're responding to this post, as I have a tendancy to Delete/Block E-mails and IMs from people who I don't recognize as anything other than spam. Thanks! |
