CrazyCloud 05-14-06, 06:06 PM	I'm currently playing a level 7 druid. My DM has ruled that since I've hit extreme good as an alignment, all my spells with good descriptor gain 2 castor levels. Since most druid spells don't have a good descriptor, is it worth it to take one of the metamagic feats from Exalted Deeds for the +2 castor levels at the cost of 1 spell level as my level 9 feat? And if so, which metamagic feat should I choose?
Gorgo 05-14-06, 07:39 PM	this a hard one...... i personally don't like the feat it takes one spell level and although it can pentrate most damage reducions it's still is a waste of time for a druid which don't have a lot of good spells in the arsenal unless you are exalted but still i would other more effective feats if i was exalted. i would suggest emp. spell or craft won. items which are great metamagic feats also you can take MULTIATTACK or IMPROVED NATURAL ATTACK from the monster manual it's a great feat for a shape shifter.....
JJeff 05-14-06, 11:43 PM	I would suggest taking the meta feat. Consecrate is not very useful unless you really worry about elemental resistances, but as a Druid, you have AoE spells that don't have elemental descriptors. I would highly recommend Purify spell. It turns all your spells cast with it to Good (like you wanted) and it states that all Good creatures don't take damge by the spell (ie, your party members... Free limited mastery of shaping, wow!) and neutral creatures take 1/2 (1/4 if saved, so you don't overly hurt neutral people). Evil takes full damage and if they are extra planar (like most demonic stuff you may encounter), the dice goes up 1 cat (d6 to d8, d8 to d10...) IMHO, it is VERY worth it even without the +2 caster levels
