For a story im writing based on my character it blockes with his bladed gauntlets. What is the difficulty of blocking an attack with my bladed gauntlets(if possible) and counter attacking using the boots to disarm by stab-kicking enemy in wrist. Eg. blocks by crossing blades high then flip kicks wrists (cool for story character hey). Bonus 3rd Question. I remember in some book there were combo-feats is this covered in one of them. What book has these feats, i can not remember? |

So unless you´re taking an AoO, I´d say you can only do them in your turn. (Then again, if you´re going to be usingthem out of your turn, it´s likely to BE an AoO) 2: (Not sure if I get it?) Sounds like, for in game, a readied action to disarm? Then write the rest in as story! Thing is at higher levels this means you´ll only ever get one attack! (boo!) 3: Combo feats, if you mean TACTICAL feats (you get three manouvres and things) or the WEAPON STYLE feats (combining different weapons for extra power) they´re both in COMPLETE WARRIOR *so how´d I do?* |

Blade Boots are from the FRCS -- before Swift Actions existed, unless they've been reprinted. 2. To block attacks with bladed gauntlets, make them Defending. You could also rule that they could be eligible for the Twin Sword Style feat, which gives you a shield bonus. To disarm an opponent, look up the rules for "Disarm an Opponent". And you should probably take the Imp. Disarm feat. 3. The tactical feats are in Complete Warrior. And no, this is not one of them. But since this is for a story, not an actual D20 character — demonstrating again that this query is off-topic here — who cares? Write what you like. |

I know this is off topic, but this would be my thought on the subject: It sounds like your character is choising to delay/ or ready for when the enemy attacks and is also fighting on the defensive... Hopefully this helps... |
