Hi folks, a friend of mine is going to be running a one-shot game shortly involving a dungeon-from-hell and it will be a case of making it out alive. So I've come up with a build i think might do the job or at least prove damn hard to actually kill (he's incorporating alot of level drains, wild magic areas and corrupted healing within the dungeon).

He's allowing 20 character levels as well as up to a +6 LA race or template combination and the following is what i came up with as a rough idea for the build:

Race: Half-Celestial Human
Level Class Feats
1 Paladin. Endurance, weapon focus longsword
2 Paladin. -
3 Paladin. True Believer
4 Paladin. -
5 Paladin. -
6 Pious Templar. Blind Fight
7 Pious Templar. -
8 Pious Templar. -
9 Cleric. Practised Spellcaster
10 Cleric. -
11 Cleric. -
12 Cleric. (the feat from Libris mortis that allows you to ignore the effects of level drain for a certian time)
13 Church inquisitor. -
14 Church inquisitor. -
15 Church inquisitor. (The feat that enables you to remove level drain with a successful will check)
16 Church inquisitor. -
17 Church inquisitor. -
18 Church Inquisitor. Diehard
19 Church Inquisitor. -
20 Church inquisitor. -

Any suggestions for alternate feats/classes? I've basically tried to make a very ahrd to kill character without going too cheesy on the splatbooks (limiting myself to core + complete divine & libris mortis).

Cheers

Well, I would open up BoED and throw the saint template on there since it's free.
BoED would also solve the level drain problem with Soulfire armor enhancement.

Why mess around with Paladin and Cleric levels? Use Prestige Paladin.
