Arcanis the wacher 02-20-05, 08:55 PM	yes that it right i am a powerDm'er and proud of it. i would like to know from your minds would be the best 10 melee classes to take to = 20 for a illumans? so i can get the most power sigles i was thainking 2 rogue 2 fighter 2 barb 2 tempes 2 ranger 2 dueist and that is all i could think of. i dont like that buld so you tell me what ya'll come up with. and seens all the class are the same lv there is no xp penitly want a all melee class bilud. thanz

Now, it's probably obvious that the designers intended that they only gain two power sigils, but then they should have written "upon gaining second character level" or something along those lines.

Per the RAW the first half you quote is debatable, but the second half that I quoted is not debatable - they can only get a second power sigil once (otherwise it would be "an addditional" power sigil").

Caelic 02-21-05, 10:58 AM	He's quite correct--you can only get "a second" power sigil once. And since the RAW specifies "a second" power sigil, not "an additional" power sigil, I submit that the RAW have adequately established that you can't gain a third, fourth, or more in this manner.

While it might be clearer to say that "both my sister and brother are human beings," it is still true when I say "each of my siblings are human beings." In either case, there are only two siblings. Anyway the feats are not where it says how many Power Sigils an Illumian gets.

Arcanis the wacher 02-22-05, 01:47 PM	by the way it read in the book i though you could get more my mistak, because it dose say apun gaining 2lv in any class you get another power sigil ok how dose any one work the final utterderens.(sp) my dm had us fight 4 illumes and when we kill them the final utterderens did a power word kill and them we died

There´s no mention of this being akin to a power word, but there´s mention of rare events of prophecies or curses. Seems you´r GM was pulling a fast one. But then He´s the GM and if he´s determited to kill all of you there´s literally nothing anyone can do to stop him (well apart from holding your ears shut or threatening with large blunt objects that is ;))
