Iron Power and false keenness don't explicitly say they don't stack with each other, so they stack. With a fullblade, you'd get a threat range of 11-20. With a scimitar, you'd get a threat range of 6-20. |

At these levels, you are much better off using a high range or critical weapon as opposed to a high dice weapon, especailly with the Disciple of Dispater abilities. You are much better off using these feats for Combat Brute, Shock Trooper, and their pre-reqs with a large weapon with 18-20 range or an x4 multiplier. If you are feeling bold, then pick up the Flutter Blade from Underdark and use the Uncanny Blow Exotic Weapon Master ability with it. All in all, I'm suggesting something more along the lines of Barbarian 1/Fighter 4/Frenzied Berserker 6/Exotic Weapon Master 1/Disciple of Dispater 9. Thats if you want to suck in the epic levels, though. One of the best melee types you can get is Paladin 4/Fighter 1/Pious Templar 4/Divine Crusader 1/Fist of Raziel 11 for epic play, since you actually get the ultra-broken epic spellcasting, or you can go Fighter 1/Wizard 6/Spellsword 3/Eldrich Knight 11 for the arcane version. EDIT: Use hexblade 6/disciple of dispter 8/arcane duelist instead. Iron Power and false keenness don't explicitly say they don't stack with each other, so they stack. With a fullblade, you'd get a threat range of 11-20. With a scimitar, you'd get a threat range of 6-20. They are from different publications which is why they don't make mention of each other. False Keeness imitates the Keen Edge magic spell which is exactly what Iron Power doesn't stack with. |
| vardock12-13-05, 01:10 PM | i may change the weapon to a mercurial greatsword (upsized) for 3d6 17-20x4 I will not trade in my tempest levels for arcane duelist these reasons. 1. I need the fighter feats. 2. i am not willing to give up my levels in tempest, since the elimination of my 2-weapon fighting penalties and the +3 ac bonus are too good to pass up. I may replace some of the levels with legacy champion, since he will wield a weapon of legacy. |
