In the campaign I am running I want a deity with a divine rank of twenty-two. He is to be the overgod of overgods, more or less He will govern a paththeon with two divine rank twenty-ones, a couple rank twenties and five of the rest. I know it might take some work but then again it will give me something to do in school. So the question to be answered is what divine abilities should I give to him. He gets twenty-two and I want him to be the person who can both give a hit and recieve one.

~What are the best 22 divine abilities?

P.S. Sorry the title should be 22 Abilities

Off the top of my head, Divine Splendor is a must for overdieties as it pretty much means the diety is immune to every monstrosity on these boards that doesn't have divine rank.

Divine Celerity so the Overgod ALWAYS go first, as there is nothing in your world with higher divine rank.

Annihilating Strike is great for dealing with dieties that get out of line. Since he always does maximum damage, the save is always decent.

Divine Battle Mastery(?) combos nicely with Annihilating strike as it automatically allows you to threaten on an attack(divine rank times/day).
Just have the Diety's weapon be a scythe and no other diety will be able to make the Fortitude save to resist being destroyed forever(because even Gift of Life and Rejuvenation doesn't work unless used by a diety of at least the same rank as you-which there is none)

The rest can be chosen by flavor, but the above four should make your overdiety invincible(as Pun-Pun does not exist in your multiverse).

Or you could not stat him out, and just say he wins (like Ao, right?).

Thought of a couple more:

Alter Reality

Alter Size(it might have a prereq.)

don't forget that dieties have bonus divine salient abilities beyond their divine rank.
I believe Greater Dieties have 5 bonus abilities in addition to those granted by their rank, so Overdieties should have at least that many bonus abilities. I don't believe Dieties and Demigods covered Overdieties very well, except saying they were more powerful than Greater ones.

Google up the SRD if you want to check out the full list of abilities.

I agree. Basically, giving a deity stats means that he can be defeated. Perhaps everyone would disagree with this, but in the light of things like Manipulate Form cheese it would really be best to not give him a stat block at all.

If you're damned and determined, take Rejuvenation for him. You simply cannot be erased, as no one bears a higher (or even equal) DivRnk than you do. Isn't there one where the deity knows absolutely everything there is to know (or very close to it)?

Divine (Class). Boosts your class-based abilities immensely.

Life and Death. So you don't actually have to hit something to kill it.

Rejuvenation. Because he could still somewhat easily die if the party just keeps rolling natural 20's.

Yes Pun-Pun does not exsist in my campaign. The flavor I want is that my overdiety will deal more with magic, knowledge, destruction, and healing domains.

Thank you for the insight. I can now take that hit and give it back a thousand times better.
