I am going to be playing a 3 class gestalt campain and I am looking for a the best archer build. all Wotc books are permited, as long as they are 3.5. I am either going to be a human or elf. So please let me know what you guys think.

Fighter/Scout/Psion (egoist), using Greater Weapon Focus/Specialization and Ranged Weapon Mastery, with Hustle to get Skirmish bonuses on every full-attack. Fell Shot would also be a decent idea with Manyshot or Penetrating Shot. You may want to instead throw in some Elocater, since it can take two 5-foot steps per round at the 7th level, which would also activate Skirmish. Use Offensive Preconscience augmented as a Swift Action to boost your damage for every fight. Chameleon is awesome for sniping, and with a few UMD ranks and a Wand of Camouflage (SC, CD) you'll totally negate the -20 hide penalty for sniping. Plus egoist gets powers like Restoration, and with a few Sangehirn (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040625c) levels you can eventually fill a backup healer role on top of being good at damage and awesome at skills.

I'd use a Bone Bow (Frostburn) with Exotic Weapon Master, and get a Dragonbone version (Draconomicon) to further increase the range. Go Human with the following:
1. Fighter 1/ Scout 1/ Psion 1, Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Exotic Weapon: Bone Bow, Psionic Shot
2. Fighter 2/ Scout 2/ Psion 2, Dodge
3. Fighter 3/ Scout 3/ Psion 3, Mobility
4. Fighter 4/ Scout 4/ Psion 4, Spring Attack, Weapon Focus: Bone Bow
5. Fighter 5/ Scout 5/ Elocater 1
6. Fighter 6/ Psion 5/ Elocater 2, Specialization: Bone Bow, Psionic Meditation, Shot on the Run
7. Exotic Weapon Master 1/ Scout 6/ Psion 6, Close-Quarters Ranged Combat
8. Fighter 7/ Scout 7/ Elocater 3
9. Fighter 8/ Scout 8/ Elocater 4, Rapid Shot, Manyshot, Improved Rapid Shot
10. Fighter 9/ Psion 7/ Elocater 5
11. Fighter 10/ Scout 9/ Elocater 6, Ranged Weapon Mastery
12. Fighter 11/ Scout 10/ Elocater 7, Greater Psionic Shot
13. Fighter 12/ Psion 8/ Elocater 8, Greater Weapon Focus: Bone Bow
14. Fighter 13/ Psion 9/ Sangehirn 1
15. Fighter 14/ Scout 11/ Sangehirn 2, Greater Specialization: Bone Bow, Greater Manyshot
16. Fighter 15/ Scout 12/ Elocater 9, Elusive Target
17. Fighter 16/ Scout 13/ Sangehirn 3, Penetrating Shot
18. Fighter 17/ Scout 14/ Elocater 10, Fell Shot
19. Fighter 18/ Scout 15/ Sangehirn 4, Far Shot
20. Scout 16/ Psion 10/ Sangehirn 5, Quicken Power

With a Dragonbone Bone Bow your range increments will be 320 feet, or 480 feet with Distance on your bow. Once you hit level 12 you can start making two 5' steps, using Greater Psionic Shot every round with Hustle to regain your psionic focus. The Sangehirn levels are staggered because you're restricted in what powers known you gain at those levels; at level 20 it doesn't grant any manifesting, since you'll be using the Psion progression for better powers known, but Fast Healing 1 for free is too good to pass up.

If you need to create your own magic/psionic items, take the appropriate item creation feat and at the same level gain Psychic Reformation as a power known. After you've created what items you need, manifest Psychic Reformation to lose the creation feat and Psychic Reformation for a more useful feat and power.

Tripple-Gestalt is a bit broken, but this build finds a good balance of multiple abilities while not being overly powerful. I think it'd be a fun character to play.

Take one of the archer builds found in the Archer Build Thread linked in my sig, and apply it to Scout on the other side. Additionally, cleric might be good for all the spell buffing goodness.

cleric1-17/human paragon3 // soulknife10/soulbow10 // archer20
Take normal archery feats plus zen archery. Take VoP. Take metamagic persist and that stuff. Domains are spell & fate (make up a deity).
Persist divine favour, polymoprh (arrow demon), divine power and greater aspect of the deity (yay nightsticks).
Pump wisdom until you can pump it no more (with greater aspect of the deity good you can reach 40).
Get the splitting enhancement on your soulbow.
With improved rapid shot your attack round looks something like:
45/45/45/45/45/45/45/45/40/40/40/40/35/35/35/35/30/30/30/30
damage on each arrow= 1D8+15(wis)+5(DF)+5(enhance)
Average damage/round (assuming hits, to hard to factor how often you will miss in)= 490/round

Briefly edited for the archer core class instead of ranger/fighter.

Looking at the charmed archery feat theres an item in DMG2 called songbow which allows you to add cha>damage with it IIRC (though it requires bard to use). Thats some nice synergy.
That would suggest to me;
archer20 // bard20 // favoured soul12/sacred exorcist4/Witch hunter2/FS13-14
basicly favoured soul instead of cleric for free weapon focus and spec with a bow aswell as cha as casting stat. Witch hunter 2 for cha>saves. sacred exorcist for tunring for divine metamagic persistant.
Bard 20 with song of the heart & words of creation for +10moral bonus on attack/damage rolls and use of the songbow.
Archer because you sed we have to use it ;) and for charmed archery.

On a sie note, i dont have the books but i hear chaos incarnates can gt huge bonuse on ranged attack rolls and that theres a prc in ghostwalk which can use ranged PA.
