The basic idea is a Druid that has a single level in Cleric for Divine Metamagic / Persist Spell (since it "only works on divine spells") and uses a few spell combos that could be fairly insane when combined:

Aspect of the Hunter + Bite of the Werebear = 43 Str base + 16 Natural AC

Control Weather + Control Winds for a tornado wherever its wanted w/in 200', standard action to start it (to cast control winds) (? can maximize spell maximize the damage caused by a tornado made from these spells? this could cause 36 damage a round for 10 rounds if possible); an oldie but goodie

Snakebite + Venomfire(? can this work w/ the Aspect + Bite combo? I'm not sure if the Bullette's limbs count as arms)

One thing that I really like about the Spell Compendium's spells for the druid is that they've made the non-wildshaping variant Druids very viable. If this works, then it could also be used with VoP for more benefits.

You can use Contemplative/Sacred Exorcist (both Complete Divine, need Educated to get Knowledge skills)to gain Turning, and hence Divine Metamagic without spellcaster progression loss.

One of the things I Don't like about the Spell Compendium is they made wild shaping druids even more powerful.
Bite of the Werebear is downright disgusting when a druid is in a high-str, high-natural AC form, and making Owl's Insight an insight bonus to wisdom was just appalling.

True! Without too much dedication, the wildshaped druid will put the party's fighter to shame in melee combat (using bite of the weretiger/bear), become one of the bettter archers of the party (Zen Archery & owl's insight), or drive the save DC of his spells through the roof (again, owl's insight).
Druids are even better than they were before with the advent of the Spell Compendium.
