3.0 Best Cleric Build Cl5/??10/Heiroph5 [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-30-04, 06:02 AM I want to make a cleric that will go into epic levels

What prestige class should my cleric take from lvls 6-15 that can be continued on at epic levels

Shadow adept seems ok, but at epic levels it gets no spell progression and i need that cos i want to take heirophant to get +10 spell power (3.0). Also his bonus feats at epic are only 1/4

Maybe Verdant lord is better because it gets upic bonus feats of 1/3lvls?? HELP...............

also its feats 1/2 levels have been nerfed to 1/3 i think

any other suggestions?
any min max boards around?

Although if your character isn't female and Rashemi, I can understand...

so can't use the new handbook for clerics
have to use the old faerun books 3.0 with hathran where these witches need to be able to cast lvl 2 wiz and lv 2 cleric spells to qualify

05-30-04, 01:07 PM Try to get your DM to allow you to use the Southern Magician feat to qualify. If you can, go:
Cleric 5/Hathran 10/Contemplative 1/Divine Disciple 1/Heirophant 3

9th level spells, CL 23, 1/2 Epic Progression, 2 Bonus Domains

Otherwise, you might try Cleric 11/Divine Disciple 1/Contemplative 1/Heirophant X/Hospitaler XX

You'll have to waste a couple of levels in epic, but eventually you'll end up with a 1/2 feat progression.

If you can get your DM to remove the multiclass restriction, such a convoluted path is unnecessary:
Cleric 6/Hospitaler 10/Contemplative 1/Heirophant 3 works fine.

05-30-04, 04:42 PM If you go on to Epic levels, delay taking levels of Heirophant until then - Heirophant does not advance spellcasting progression which (especially for 5 levels) is something you ought not to do. Try Cleric 8/Sacred Exorcist 5/Divine Disciple 5/Divine Oracle 2 or some such thing.

only prob is that UR priest says the caster lvl = ur priest lvl + 1/2 of all others

If u do levels after ur priest are you still an urpriest and do the caster levels stack ? or are they only 1/2?
